I came here to do my vehicle inspection and can't say enough about how grateful I am for this crew. Carlos and his team is 100% the best. Always has taken great care of me. Trust is something that is so hard to give as a woman needing car work. People up charge all the time and all of a sudden, I have 20 problems that need “fixing”. Not the Brake Stop team. They tell you like it is and have never tried to make an extra buck just because. Their work is top notch. I live in Austin and come to Dallas regularly, and always go back to them. Yall, they’re the real deal local mom and pop, all good shop. 💯 bring them some beer. I can't recommend this car shop highly enough! The mechanics here are some of the most honest, fair, and friendly individuals I've ever encountered. I've been bringing my car here for years, and I'm incredibly grateful for their kindness and integrity. For instance, I once took my car to Kwick Kar on Fitzhugh for an inspection. They told me my car passed but claimed I needed a front-end brake job and quoted me an outrageous price. I decided to get a second opinion at Brake Stop, where I received a much more reasonable quote along with excellent service. Another time, my car was bouncing when I started it. I dropped off the keys and left the car in the lot at the brake stop. The next morning, Carlos called to inform me that there was nothing wrong with my vehicle; a plastic bag had somehow gotten stuck in the engine. I can't emphasize enough the honesty and integrity of this shop. They truly care about their customers!

Carlos told my friend he’d work on her car and get back to her in the afternoon but then he LEFT FOR THE DAY without even calling her and letting her know. So now’s she’s car-less until who knows when? This is unprofessional, unacceptable, and terrible customer service. You all better make her whole! Otherwise — I’d avoid this place
