I came across Brakes Plus in a panic when two other places couldn’t fix my car problem and I was getting nervous to drive. Albert was great! He calmly assured me it was something they could fix and got me on the wait list as I was driving in. He even found me a coupon to use for the fix! The issue was a normal one but a little worse than I’d realized and Albert had me in an out in an hour and a half. I am so grateful to the Brakes Plus team for helping me in such a professional way.

I dropped my car off at 9 with an appointment and they said it would be 2 hours max. 3 hours went by with no call and then when I called them they were clueless and didnt even start yet. Then the guy told me it would be done by the end of the day. Just two change out two break pads. Horrible service.

My brakes needed some work due to chirping. I used their free inspection to determine the problem, at which time the mechanic took me into the bay to show me what was wrong and give me a couple of options to fix the problem. I highly recommend no one to ever bring their cars to Brake Plus it's been several occasions where I had to return my vehicle back for them to fix it after they fixed it twice. Or I would say supposedly fixed it. I recently took my truck into Brakes Plus to do a diagnostic for a suspension issue. Brakes Plus only took an hour to perform a diagnostic. They quoted me for $4,000 after 1 hour of diagnostic. I told them that was extremely expensive for what's needing to be done. So I took my truck to to the actual dealership thinking it would be extremely expensive there as well but to my surprise. After 3 days of the dealership inspecting and diagnosing my vehicle they quoted me $1,500. You guys do the math, Brakes Plus is ripping people off.

Excellent experience. I went in for a brake inspection. They did a thorough inspection, showed me everything, and gave me their recommendations with no pushing for services that I did not need. Went in for an alignment (Just put new shoes on at Discount Tire). Found that my rear shocks were failing and my rear brake pads were almost done for. Replaced all of these with new Heavy Duty highest grade parts. Now I have a lifetime warranty on this work, and Brakes Plus executed successfully today. My husband & I usually go to this breaks plus since it’s very close to home. Bruce has helped me the 2 times I’ve gone up there. He’s given me a great customer experience. The first time I went I was with my inpatient toddler & he gave her a coloring sheet with crayons which helped tremendously. They were out of the oil filter that my car needed & he made sure it was delivered to the store as quickly as possible as we waited since I expressed concerned about my toddler being there for a long time & her possibly losing it. That same day I had also gotten my state inspection done & was out of there pretty quickly. At the end Bruce explained to me what other maintenance my vehicle needed & explained everything thoroughly. Not only did I feel welcomed & comfortable there while I waited but I also felt like my vehicle was in great hands. I will continue to frequent this location when it comes to my vehicles repairs & maintenance. They are very upfront about their prices & give out coupons as well in order to save a little more money.

I was about to bring my daughter's car to the Audi dealership to get her brakes checked out. While passing this business, I decided to give them a call, as it was significantly closer than the Audi dealership. Here are the actual chain of events from this experience: 1. 1:20pm: Called to schedule an appointment 2. Appointment set for 2pm 3. I was told it would only take 45 minutes for the full brake assessment 4. 2:02pm: Arrived and checked in for appointment 5. 2:30pm: I noticed that the car is still parked in the lot 6. 3pm: Car still has not moved (1 hour) 7. 3:35pm: Car still has not moved (95 minutes) 8. Approached the Brakes Plus representative, and this was the reasoning: Rep: "You were the last of the 2 o'clock appointments in the system, so we have not gotten to you yet (95 minutes in)." Me: "But, I set an appointment for 2pm and you never said multiple people had the same overlapping appointment. How does that work?" Rep: "We set multiple appointments for the same time and it's first come first serve." Me: "But, if you set an appointment with the dentist for 2pm, you have an appointment for 2pm and they could be running late, but they don't overlap scheduling." Rep: "I can get your keys and you can be on your way." Me: "Ok, I'll do that." --------------------------------------------------------------- Clearly this rep had no vested interest in the success of this business as I paid one of their local competitors to fix both sets of brakes. This was a complete waste of very precious time as it seemed like the common theme in the waiting area. FYI...Many of the bays were open, and available without vehicles. Was this just a bad day? Was this rep leaving the business and didn't care about customer service? Is this how this business does things? For the latter, I don't believe so based on the number or reviews and 4.7 star rating on Google. But, on this day, I did not matter and my money was not welcome.

They took my Cadillac back in, ran their own diagnostics, found a bad ignition coil, and fixed the issue completely — the car runs smooth and even gets better gas mileage now. EDIT: Offered and provided refund for services not rendered, manager apologized to me personally. Brakes Plus a brake bleed and alignment. I was informed that they could not bleed all of my brakes, since they could not loosen the front right caliper bleeder valve. They stated they were scared of shearing the bleeder valve but brake pressure was restored. I went to pick it up the next morning and was told the same thing once again, unable to loosen the bleeder valve, brake pressure restored. I hopped into my car and had no brake pressure. After three or four pumps it would come back, and disappear. I went inside and asked whats going on, and they said they would try again but I might need to replace my caliper. I told the manager Roy or Brody, whatever his name is, that I would be back after I secured a ride to work. I immediately took my vehicle over to Quick Car and had them attempt to do an inspection/ bleed of the brakes. My bleeder valve was sheared off at the caliper. They called me over as soon as it was in the air and showed me the destroyed/sheared bleeder valve. I went back to Brakes Plus saying here's the invoice and pictures of my broken bleeder valve, and the manager accused me of breaking it, Quick Car of breaking it, and then threated to fight me demanding I leave the store. repeatedly said he'd quit his job right now to fight me. He followed me out to my car, in my face trying to fight me. Roy, or Brody, whatever his name is. Taller chubby guy with green eyes and a shaved head. I believe he was the manager. Brakes Plus broke my bleeder valve, didn't say anything to me the customer, and I had a different shop record and show proof of the broken valve some 5 minutes after I drove off the lot. I picked up my car at 11:30, and had it up in the air at another shop by 11:45. I wanted a refund for the service that they didn't do, and instead he tried to fight me.

I brought my 21 RAM 1500 in for a brake evaluation with a description of noise coming from the front. Toby, the store manager, explained the process and checked both axles. Toby then brought me into the shop and explained the possible reason for the noise. I ended up approving front rotor resurfacing and new pads. The rears were fine. The bill was about half of what I expected and the whole visit was quick and straightforward. I will use BrakesPlus again.
