Excellent shop in the area for my transmission. Brought in my son in laws 1998 Honda Accord to be repaired. Great service, technicians are knowledgeable. Its hard to find a shop owner that is honest. After researching many of the Ft. Lauderdale area transmission shops, and taking my car to 3 of them that either suggested a slow death for my Subaru, or a transmission rebuild for just under $4K. Broward Transmission was my last ditch effort - saw them while on the bus I took when my car finally stalled. It had to be towed to the shop. Broward Transmission was the answer, offering a secure lot for my car while we waited for a special-order part, and to explore the least expensive repair options, as my car is a 2005, w >160K miles; used mainly for local driving. Broward Transmission exceeded my expectations - service included a full free inspection, then, filter, fluid & gasket replacement (there may have been more technical work done). Was called by Sierra, the cheery voice in the office, when the repair was complete, and on driving my car after, found that the transmission shifted through the gears so smoothly, that it wasn’t long before all my built up apprehension, about the dreaded “transmission repair/rebuild/re-manufacture” melted away! Broward Transmission is a very busy hub, so you may have to turn up in person, for a status update, as I did… it’s a worthwhile stop - got to meet the owner, Jose, who explained where they were in the process of repairs, and I could see the hum of activity at the shop. The staff was courteous, if they came into the office; asked if I needed assistance; or, otherwise, could be seen working on vehicles at, and around, the 2 visible lifts. The cost quoted for the repair also reflected the integrity of this business. I’ve found the transmission specialist, and shop, I can trust at Broward Transmission!

This place is amazing. They were able to rebuild my transmission and get my truck back on the road. They had the best price around and they stand behind their warranty. They were able to keep me updated threw out the process and addressed any issues that came up.

Bait and Switched me with the price. By law the total should be disclosed to the customer before hand. It shouldn't change upon arrival. They were very unprofessional and rude about it. Will be reporting this shop to the Better Business Bereau. The front girl at the reception should take responsibility for this and start telling people the real total so we can bring THE CORRECT AMOUNT. I had to leave and come back and the whole time she was arguing with me about how I'm wrong. 🤔 You guys can do better then this.

I have been around mechanics my whole life owned taxi companies and heavy trucking. This company is professional from start to finish. There are many Transmission shops in Broward, but this one is consistent, upfront , communicates and the price is right. Jose knows Transmission’s, he is educated and educates the customer how the transmissions work and what problems exist. Nothing hidden here. Long term shop who has built a good name on good service. I would recommend no other. They have earned there high rating and I highly recommend this shop.

Jose diagnosed my problem and fixed the transmission in my 2016 Tahoe way faster and cheaper than I could have ever imagined. Explained exactly what was causing the issue and was very honest and confident in his work. You don't find mechanics like Jose around anymore, but hands down, there's no better place to go! Highly recommend, and it will be the only place I ever go for anything transmission related!

From the first day I meet the owners of the shop they greeted me with respect, it felt like family talking with them and not just another dollar sign walking threw the door. Everything was very professional they explained all the repairs to me giving me daily updates on the process of my car. I needed a total rebuild on my 2010 chevy camaro transmission, prices were very high at other shop but Broward transmission were the cheapest price in broward very reasonable price. Their service was very fast and efficient, warranty on all products havent had any issues with my transmission since. I will recommend Broward transmission to all my family and friends. Good service, I got my work van there today to check what wrong with my transmission, the guy was nice and friendly, I left my van there for diagnostic and he even take me with his car back to my shop until he finished, they called me back after one hour with explain what is wrong and estimate, they didn't charge me anything for the diagnostic. Frustrating, I went here to get the transmission checked. I was called before the end of the day that my car was ready, and transmission looked good, and fluids were correct. When I picked up the car, I was given a scanner printout and bill. 4 days ago, I took the car to another shop for same issue and was charged the same for diagnosing the problem with shifting. Found out the torque convertor seal was leaking, and the fluids were low in transmission, plus a trans solenoid was faulty. Issue is fixed but seems like Broward Transmission did nothing to look into issue and simply scanned the car and charged me for something I could have done at home.

I had taken my car to a Firestone store before drove to Broward Transmission for a diagnosis and they stated I NEED A NEW MOTOR❓️❓️🙄🤦♀️. So my husband call José explain the problem that my toyota corolla 95 had a problem, if we could bring the car for him to check out. Next day I took my car and was very surprised with the results 😅 . 🙅♀️ nope ! my car didn't need it a new motor , what was problem? sparkles plugs and some others small parts replacements.
