My vehicle would not start. Glad he came within a couple of hours. However all he did was spray starter fluid in my intake and said it was fuel pump. Wanted to charge me more than it should of cost to change out fuel pump. Was not very friendly. Took it to Bill Bryan in Fruitland and they found a it was fuel pump power supply wires. $368 VS. C&J $1200. I consider it a ripoff and believe he would of charged me for a fuel pump when it was a cheaper fix and not tell me. He could of at least put a analyzer on it. I will never call him again.

My 2006 Volkswagen Jetta wouldn't start my starter was smoking and only the solenoid would click. Called them at 4:00pm on a thrusday afternoon . They went and got the new starter & came to me had it fixed and running again by 6:00pm . Very quick response and we're willing to help me out even though I have a foreign car . I have been turned down so many times from other mechanics because I have a Volkswagen. Very impressed and saved me from a tow bill and having to pay dealer repair prices 👍.

Had a rental car that started having transmission issues. Called their roadside service and they sent CJ'S MOBILE AUTO REPAIR TOWING LLC. When they arrived, it was a couple that showed up. They were incredibly nice and friendly. We were traveling with children and they stayed with us until the Uber arrived. The woman helped me double check that we weren't leaving anything in the car. Went out to start the car and all I got was a "click". Called AAA and they came out and said the battery was good; the problem was probably the starter. As it was Sunday, I didn't think I'd find much available. Searching the Internet I found reviews for C&J's Mobile, made the call and talked to John. He asked me a few questions and ordered the part. Monday afternoon he shows up with the starter and installed it. Life is good again. You can't beat it!

C&J was a life-saver. Having moved to The Villages, we sold our second car. An oil hose on our one car, a Lexus RX split and all the oil spilled out, making it not drivable. I chose C&J as I hoped the hose could be replaced at our house, and, if it could not, they were equipped to tow it to their shop, thereby avoiding the expense of paying for the service call and then paying for a separate tow service. John arrived on time. Identified the broken hose, checked with Lexus that it had to be replaced with a solid pipe in place of the hose, and towed it to the shop. He ordered the part overnight, installed it on Saturday and returned it that afternoon. The charges were more than fair and the work was done timely. I highly recommend C&J

3-25-23 My semi truck was not building air. C&J's told me they wld come out and charge a certain price to air me up. My plan was to make it half mile down the road to the shop. I spoke with John, who asked me about fittings and said my truck could have three different ones, I had no clue, but nonetheless he said he cld get me going and that he would come out, we agreed on a set price. He showed up with no fittings, then told me all trucks he's used to servicing had proper fittings on their airtanks. He then, after trying 10-15min to push air thru several air lines (which didn't work), told me I owe him more if he continues. I called around, found the proper fitting, co-driver left to pick it up and returned with tool in 5-10min (shop loaned me the tool). John then told me he charges $100 per hr for waiting. We went back and forth over price...my position was 1) tank still wasn't holding air by blowing air thru lines 2) I had to go get part that he shld have come with. His position was 1) I showed up and attempted 2) It's your fault for not having fitting. Ultimately, he did not charge me the $100 for waiting, however, he went on to say he's doing me a favor and a diesel mechanic would have charged me more. I responded saying that I wld rather have had a diesel mechanic and he shld have disclosed that when I called (got number from referral where i was broke down). I asked him to honor his word and the price we agreed on. I pointed out the fact that he is not a diesel mechanic is more reason to in fact lower the amt. He said no and I shld have known because his truck says auto repair. In the end, once he put on the proper fitting, we were able to get aired up and he charged me an extra $50 over the price we agreed on. I asked him if he would at least block traffic for me so I cld pull out. He did do that. When I made it to the shop they had to push the lines back in where he'd taken them out. I will not use C&J's ever again. Do Not Call if you Need assistance from a diesel mechanic! I told John I would be leaving this review. Jackie

I have been lawfully driving an automobile for 60 years now, and in all that time, I have never had such prompt, courteous and expert attention as was provided to me by John and C&J's Mobile Auto Repair & Towing, Inc. On a Sunday evening, it was determined my car at my home was not drivable due to a leak in the engine coolant (antifreeze) system. John came out, on a SUNDAY EVENING, diagnosed an issue with the water pump, made arrangements to have the car taken to the shop, ordered parts, and within 24 hours later delivered it back to me at my home. If there were six stars (and not the five at the top) to be given, this experience would deserve them all!

First time for everything, first time ever having to call a tow service and they took our truck to C&J after I called him. It was July 4th Eve and John met me and the tow truck driver at his business. He even called a few times to check to see if the driver had got to me. I was sitting in a parking lot with my brakes smoking and hot. He ordered parts, lots of them for my brakes due to a brake line failure. C&J were prompt and had me going the next day. Thank you and I would certainly recommend this business to anyone for repair. Keep up the good work!

I'm leaving this review without even having a repair done. After I triggered the immobilizer on my car, and doing all the troubleshooting available in my owners manual, I called CJ. He told me how to do a reset, and refused my offer of paying a diagnostic fee. He is more interested in helping than making a quick dollar, and that is not the norm these days.
