I had to take a moment to acknowledge the top notch service I received from Caliber Collision team on Cleveland Road in South Bend! Nobody enjoys being inconvenienced by an accident and car repairs, but this team made the experience very easy. I dealt with another auto body shop in South Bend a few years back and it was a nightmare (the hood of my car had horrible swirl marks, hood was put on crooked, and had to literally shampoo the seats and carpets to get the mud and grease out of the interior from technicians clothes and boots) so I was very hesitant when insurance adjustor asked me about a shop preference this time. I did my homework and several people highly recommended Caliber and I am so glad they did. I have a really busy life and dreaded the hassle of how to get to the car rental place, etc... Caliber takes care of everything! I showed up, Cody called the car rental agency, they dropped a car off for me 15 minutes later and I was on my way. Devin and Mike kept in touch with me every step of the way, explaining everything on the estimate and answering my many questions (sorry guys!). My car looks better than new, flawless job! Not only did they protect my interior from dirty feet, it was cleaner than when I dropped if off and smelled amazing (what did you guys use in there? I seriously want to know!) If you are looking for quality repairs, great communication and HONESTY, this team is the best. Thanks Cody, Mike, Devin, and all the others behind the scene! I hope I don't have to come back soon (no offense, my dentist is nice too but not my favorite place to go) but if I do, this is the only place I will ever trust to bring my vehicle to or refer to my family and friends.

They did a great job! Everyone was nice that I encountered from Cody at the front desk, to Dominick. Dominick was very personable and made every effort to keep me updated along the way! They gave frequent updates and even did an interior clean of my car(sorry for the mess, the clean was not expected!) Plus, they didn’t give me a hard time for my silly reason for needing their repair service to begin with!

Why would I trust them with my car if they can not get a estimate to you as promised. No response after following up in person Monday. Email on Thurs and phone call on Friday. Other places have completed the estimate at the first inspection.

This location is the best body shop experience I’ve ever had. We were in an accident in Minnesota and had a shop do extremely awful work using used damaged parts that caused me to break down (fuel tank, fuel pump, etc) several times on my way back to North Carolina. This shop was honest and upfront, showed me what was done and not done, by the shop in MN before I got to South Bend, and went to work to fix the experience I had at the last shop to get me back on my way to home in North Carolina. They repaired the work done and completed the work that the other shop didn’t even touch. I cannot put into words how kind and compassionate they were with my frustrating experience and they did everything possible to change that experience for me even though they had nothing to do with it. They went above and beyond. They took every ounce of stress off me they possibly could and listened to my frustrations and expressed major empathy even though they didn’t have to listen to a word. They provided more than car repairs. They made me feel heard, valued, and important. Absolutely would recommend this shop. They got me back on the road and I made it to North Carolina with no further issue!! Thank you, Michael and team. I am so so thankful for you all.

Mild bumper damage with the other driver at fault. No issues setting up and appointment, staff was easy to work with. They made it easy, and got my car back in 8 days. No issues on pickup and coordinated with the rental company so I could just drop the rental off at their shop.

Vehicle took two weeks longer than the estimate to be repaired. No communication from the shop. I had to call several times just to be updated on when the vehicle would be done. Was given 1 hour notice that the vehicle was done and I could get there to pick it up.

When I got my car back I should’ve did a walk around but I didn’t and they didn’t with me either. My horn was not repaired and my grill was put on sloppy/ incorrectly. When trying to get these issues fixed I was given the run around, was told I would get a call back and never did so I started to just show up and then was met with more excuses and will have to check with their boss. Finally got the horn fixed, now waiting on the grill. Was also told they would compensate me for my problems and never was. I do not recommend this place at all it’s filled with dishonest people.

This was my first time making a claim, and it will be the last time I ever go to this shop. My vehicle was deemed a loss after the estimate. I decided to keep it, as it was still driveable. I picked it up, drove it home, as live in the next state over. They removed panels that couldn't be reinstalled because broke, so they put them in the back of the car. They disconnected the sprayers for my wipers from the hood for whatever reason (didn't learn that till I was 100 miles from shop), and they put l my bumper cover on, only to have it come off due to high winds in a parking lot. It was held in by one screw! I've never been so angry with a shop in my life. They gave me back a car in worse shape, and failed to brief me properly. I will never deal with this shop again.

They were backed up on repairs due to the weather, 2 weeks, but I got my car repaired within the time frame they gave me, and sent me text messages of updates on repair so I was not clueless on how repairs were going. They also washed the car and vacuumed the front seats and floor mats which was a really nice detail. Repairs went through other parties insurance and they dealt with everything, all I had to do was book the appointments, drop my car off and pick it up. Very smooth process! My car looks great 😃

THIS IS A DISASTER, not a service. I honestly don’t understand how they can have such a high rating. We brought our Ram here for repairs — and that was a huge mistake. First, they spent weeks “ordering parts,” then it turned out they ordered the WRONG parts, wasted even more time, and only after that started redoing things. When the correct parts finally arrived, they still couldn’t properly assemble the truck for weeks. It was impossible to contact them: • they DON’T answer the phone • they DON’T reply to emails The truck sat there for almost two months, and here’s what we got in the end: • high beams don’t work at all • low beam works only in one headlight • when you turn on the left turn signal, the low beam starts flashing • the turn signal works only on the right side • there are holes in the bumper for fog lights — they didn’t even install plugs • and the most dangerous part: they were supposed to fix TWO seat belts, but only fixed ONE — the driver’s Who knows what else will come up later — just a bunch of incompetent hacks! And the cherry on top: when we pointed all this out, it turned out they KNEW about these problems, but didn’t fix them and didn’t even warn us. This is complete disrespect for the customer and total irresponsibility. Assembling a vehicle like this is simply dangerous. We lost time, money, and nerves, and had to take the truck to another shop to fix their mess. NEVER come here. This is one of the worst and most unprofessional services I’ve ever seen.
