Terrible customer service. They had our truck on October 7 and no repairs were done. We were lied too , told us at one point our truck was done but they didn’t like it so they were not going to release it to us until fixed correctly. On November 22 2014 we went there after there person at gates told us to just take the buy out from the other parties insurance company and pick up our truck. NEVER WILL WE GO THERE AGAIN. We were told from the body shop manager that they knew they could not repair it and that we were to be told. NEVER HAPPENED. To get anywhere I always had to do the follow up. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE AND WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL !!!!

I used them a couple years ago after another shop didn’t repair my car correctly. Only thing good I can say is that my repairs were done and they did a great job. I paid my deductible and come to find out I wasn’t supposed to cause I was not at fault. That part was on my insurance company. But once I found out that I wasn’t supposed to pay that deductible the fight I had with these people to get my deductible back was ridiculous. I ended up getting my deductible refunded after I got my insurance agent involved! Then Brad has the nerve to ask who is gonna give them the money back cause they are taking a loss. How the hell is gates collision taking a loss on money that shouldn’t have been paid in the first place. They are rude here! I got my money back and they do not ever have to worry about me again! BEWARE!!!!

Only took pictures of my car, told me it would be 4 to 6 weeks before they can look at it. Took it somewhere else and the totaled it the same day. Gates is a joke

Very communicative and professional! Not to mention they do fantastic work. I have never had body work done before so I was worried the paint matching might not be perfect and it would look slightly off. They definitely exceeded my expectations and I will be coming back if I ever need any work done.

Very discouraged by the lack of business etiquette put forth. On October 4th was given an estimate at 3:30 PM, scheduled a repair date of December 18th & it’s now October 18th & even after numerous calls by myself & State Farm the estimate has not been given to the insurance company!! Thank you for wasting 3 weeks that my car could have been scheduled else where.

UPDATE: I was obviously irritated at how long the estimate took, which ended up being 6 days but that was because it’s a brand new vehicle. I was originally quoted 6-8 weeks by the front desk. Then my advisor said they had all the part and it should have only been about 3 weeks. They didn’t realize they were missing a part that was on back order so it ended up being 9 weeks and 3 days from drop off to pick up. All in all, they get a 1 for lack of communication but they did 5 star work.
Original: Front desk is very pleasant. However, I was told I’d have an estimate by the end of the day I dropped it off. It has been 4 days since my car has been there and I have yet to hear anything from the dealership. I should have looked at the other reviews before coming here. I would have steered clear

Very unprofessional people DO NOT GO HERE
They gave me an original estimated completion of 2 weeks. That’s fair, 2 weeks ahead and they said give it another week. Oh okay I see they’re busy that’s fine. But here comes the problem, an original estimate of 2 weeks ended up being 2 and a half months. I kid you not. If I was told at the get go that I wouldn’t have my car back for 2 and a half months I wouldn’t be upset, I’d accept it for what it is. But they definitely promised an impossible completion date.
What made things worse was when I went there and told them “you know I’m not mad it took so long I’m just upset you told me a way different completion time” and the manager there instead of trying to take blame for the mistake simply said “well next time don’t crash your car”. Yes, a guy who makes a living fixing cars that have been in accidents, telling people not to get into accidents. By the time I left with my vehicle I had this man threatening to fight me. Completely rude and like I said unless you want to be lied to and disrespected I suggest you don’t step foot in this gates location.
