Visited Toms car care this morning for an oil change, battery check and new wiper blades. All three were done very quickly but when I tired the blades before leaving, there were spots in the windshield that the blades would miss. I went back in and asked about fixing it. Turns out the blades were the wrong size and they didn’t have the correct size. So the manager (or maybe owner) got in his car and went and bought the right size. When he came back, they replaced the blades and I was on my way. Wonderful group of people there. Thank you!

Got an oil change. While waiting they checked tires, lights, cabin filter, and other things on the car. The one guy opened all the doors on car and sprayed inside the doors so won't rust. Was nice but sitting in the car the spray smell was a bit much for a minute. Quality work at a good price. My oil change was $49.99 and had option to buy a car wash at half off the price. I go to them to get my head lights replaced and they handle your vehical with care and with a friendly face.

Exceptional experience!! It's like they never want you to leave. I came for an oil change. Ended up with one of the world's best lattes. If I stayed for the car wash, I might have had a whole lunch. I think this is their intention. They know the longer a customer stays the more money they will spend. It's like they are kidnapping with consent. Definitely go here, the service is quick, it's a way more fun experience than going to a regular lube place

Love taking my car here for an oil change. I have a 2017 Hyundai Elantra and avg. cost for my oil change is $45! They refill your washer fluid for you and take really good care of your tires, and doors. The guys here are great and quick at what they do. Even better, they have a little cafe attached, can grab a quick bite, drink or coffee while you wait!

I was extremely impressed. I pulled right in and everyone was extremely friendly. I was super pleased that I could get my oil changed, have coffee, get my LP tank filled and car washed all at the same time. My only complaint is that they charge $25 for a tire rotation! I definitely won't be getting that service performed there again.

Stop scrolling, this is the spot for an oil change in South Bend. I came here for a standard oil change and was really impressed. Very quick turnaround, non-pushy and friendly service, and a really great cafe where I waited for about 15 minutes. Not the typical sterile waiting room! Will be returning, thanks Tom’s!

Went to get an oil change at the Lube-A-Thon. Everyone was amazing! The Technician was very friendly and pointed out a couple of things that needed fixed. My car drove so much better after the oil change. Thanks Tom's Car Care Center!

I have never been so happy with an oil change. Staff are exceedingly polite and helpful. The price was more than fair and I got a deal on the car wash next store. The little cafe attached is the perfect place to relax with a coffee and snack. My oil change was barely 10 minutes! And they were thorough! Also, true story, I left my purse there. Was I worried? Nope. They said they would keep it safe, and they did. Honest, kind and hardworking staff are here! It was totally worth it to come back for my purse because I did get delicious soup and a sandwhich on this trip. Look, trust me, don't sleep on this place! Go there. You will not be sorry. Thanks to Kevin and the sweet girls working there. The. Best.

The lead technician was clear, concise, and easygoing. I ordered a sandwich while I waited, which was excellent. The waitress who served it had an excellent and genuine attitude. Service for both the car and meal exceed my experiences at other auto maintenance shops and even some higher end restaurants; I felt genuinely respected as a patron and would enjoy returning.

We've been fans for a long time. It's a nice option to grab lunch while the car gets serviced.

I had such an amazing experience today when I went. Grace is such a sweet, caring person and really connects with you when your there and has such a great personality! Please let her know to never change because this world is such a better place having her in it! Now if we can get more humans on board we'd be doing so much better. 😁 Thank you Grace!

Make the line, when it’s your turn they will ask you want the car needs and price it and service it. Good experience thanks to the guy with long hair (sorry didn’t catch your name) my tire started to get low and they quickly looked into it. Good service, good people. Thanks again.

I love this place. I'm pretty weary of these places but they have always been honest with me UPDATE-----Years later Toms has more than proven to be the best place in the area for car service and a tasty cafe! One tech warned me about something wrong with my car and he couldn't fix it but referred me to a great shop here in South Bend who did fix it and we're honest. Honestly people, go here!!!!

This is hands down the nastiest car wash I've ever been to. Whoever Tom is should be absolutely ashamed to have his name attached to this atrocity. I spent like $10 and all it did was make my truck wet and smelly. Seriously, it smells like they're pumping that water straight out of the sewer. I had to change my clothes after getting home because my wife could smell it on me. NONE of the soaps worked, the "spot free rinse" was just more sewer water, and the foam brush was lying in a pile of debris on the ground. There wasn't even a place in the bay for the brush to hang up properly! I will NEVER come here again. You couldn't pay me to wash my truck here. I would rather go miles out of my way and cross state lines to a car wash that isn't complete trash. I just really can't express how completely terrible this experience was.

Super fast! They weren’t pushy at all with service and they were very kind. I would recommend! They were more affordable than other places I called for an oil change as well 😊

Took my truck in for an oil change yesterday, Dan Jr. who helped service me was so professional and welcoming, I woke up this morning and said I’d leave a review. I have been coming here for 15 years and will continue to as long as the service I receive is similar to Dan’s welcoming nature. Hope that’s his name it was on his jacket. Signed, King Ranch

I am always happy with the Service Team and Car Washes. I pass 3 or 4 Drive n Shines a day, but choose to use Tom's Car Care Center. Today a young man named Brandon, helped me with air in my tires, so I wasn't afraid to drive in the snow with a low tire alert. I have been getting my oil changes, windshield wipers and filter work done there for 4 years. The Food options are great for lunch and the entire Staff is always Friendly.

Extremely satisfied with my service. I got an oil change with them and it’s so rare to find an auto care place that is honest and transparent. Liam Was extremely professional, Efficient, and professional. As a woman, it’s really hard to find a shop that doesn’t take advantage. Would recommend this to everyone and will bring both my vehicles here for service!

Tom’s Car Care Center on Bendix, just north of the airport, is a compound. Sure, you can get an oil change or hit the Coffee Spot Café, but I skipped all that. This visit was about the wash. Step right up, folks. You’ve got three tickets to ride. The Basic wash at $10 bucks, the Premium at $15, and the full spectacle, The Works, at $20 Or for the real thrill-seekers, fifty a month gets you unlimited Premium rides. Unlimited! It begins with the lady at the gate. She waves you in like she’s parking a jet, knocks off the big chunks, gives the pre-rinse. Then the sacred ritual, she offers the air freshener. This is no small thing. You don’t just pick an air freshener. You declare an identity. Lemon, vanilla, new car, black ice, or the infamous Cherry. Cherry doesn’t smell like fruit. It smells like regret with a splash of cough syrup. Black Ice doesn’t smell like ice. It smells like a flamboyant preacher with a shiny car. New Car smells like pure lies and self deceit . Lemon smells like a cleaning product auditioning as candy. Vanilla is what you pick if you gave up on making decisions years ago. Wash begins.Neutral. Hands off. Brushes whipping like neon jellyfish, strobes firing red and purple, water spraying from all angles. “Hot Lava Bath” !!thick and glowing, like you just drove straight into a neon volcano. The whole thing is choreography. Sprays, spins, scrubs, the mechanical ballet of clean. You sit back, maybe hotbox the cabin, and let it all swirl together. The blower. The big, big blower. It shakes your mirrors, rattles your ribcage, and sends you hurtling back into daylight like Zeus himself exhaled on your hood. That’s Tom’s. A South Bend car wash, a ticketed carnival ride for grown-ups, and a whole identity crisis in the form of a cardboard air freshener. As I drove off it hit me… Coffee Spot. Coffee… spot. Spill your latte, wash your car. The joke was sitting right there the whole time.
