Caliber Collision in Greenville, SC did an amazing job on my car. A big tree limb fell on it and broke my back window and messed up the roof. I was so upset, but the people at this auto body shop were very kind and helped me right away. They worked with my insurance and told me what was happening the whole time. When I picked up my car, the roof looked perfect, the back window was like new, and you could not even tell there was damage. I had a great experience. Kevin was very thorough and reassuring during drop off. 2 Year old vehicle-(Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland) always professionally hand washed and waxed- basically the same as from the dealership. Unfortunately even with all the technology including night-vision and auto brake- the systems worked it happened simply in the blink of an eye. 4-5 deer jumped in the road and only a couple kept going. In a matter of seconds I hit deer. They got me in immediately. Travelers made it flawless with their partnership with them. Kevin and the team keep you updated and are very friendly. I could not be more disappointed in the lack of service I’ve received from this location. I’ve been told my car would be ready on 4 different dates over the last 2 weeks and it is still sitting in their shop with no idea of when it will be done. I get texts saying it will be done on a certain date. Then when I call on that date to confirm (which I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO DO), I’m told it won’t be ready after all. Every single updated completion date falls through. Their techs, customer service, and management could care less about my frustrations. I just want my freaking car back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Originally, I wasn't going to write a review and just never return to this business, but as time has progressed, I feel the issues merit letting others know. I originally took the vehicle sometime in May as I had a tree branch fall through the windshild and actually impalled my dash. At first, communication was good and the vehicle was completed in a reasonable timeframe. When I picked the vehicle up, I immediatly noticed my satellite raido wasn't working; I just left and chalked that up to it needed to refresh the signal. However, that was not the case. This took return trips to correct. The next day, when I went to adjust my review mirror, the highlighted piece dropped on my hand and I noticed it was clearly broken and never replaced. Subsequently, this part was replaced, but also took return trips. Unfortunately, they did not fix the entire upper console correctly as you can see what happened in the picture. That black piece went into the upper console, but then it was very easy to notice that upper console bracket was clearly broken. Eventually, the entire thing finally just popped clear out as it is in the picture. The piece of plexi/glass that covers my instrument panel on my dash was also not reinstalled correctly, and there is a noticable gap. My windshield washer fluid pump has also not worked since it returned. I believe I made at least 3 separate trips (possibly more) to have all these issues corrected. Unfortunately, only the radio and that black piece on the rearview mirror were fixed. The biggest point of irritation, each time I would tell my account person when I would pick up the car about other things still needing to be fixed, he didn't write anything down or take any type of notes. Once I originally got the car back, I turned in my rental that I had through my insurance so each subsequent trip was an extradionary inconvenience. Put my family down to only 1 car for at least a week at times. I did fill out a satisfaction survey and listed the above with Caliber and a manager did call me back and leave a message (just once), but at this point, I am just taking it to the dealer so I will at least know it will be completed properly. Which, of course, will be out of my pocket. When the manager left a message, he did say they wanted to make it right, but there were at least 3 separate chances to make it right and I this point, I don't trust the quality of work.

Having someone back into you really sucks. But having their insurance cover it and Caliber Collision on your side made everything better! They were amazing to work with, though making the appointment to picking my car up, I have zero complaints. Ryan was my tech and he was great! He explained everything clearly with reasonable expectations. He was great to communicate with throughout the process and had my car ready when he said it would be. Beside my car looking amazing, they even cleaned/detailed my car. It's very helpful to have Enterprise rental in the same location as well. Oh and they have waters and fresh popcorn!

caliber was recommended/preferred by my insurance following an accident. I was initially given a completely unrealistic completion date of less than 2 weeks (I never expected it to be done this fast given they needed to evaluate/order parts), and it has now been 6 weeks. Initially communication was consistent but not truthful it seems. I was told all parts had arrived and repairs were coming along nicely just to be told weeks later that there were issues with the parts ordered and they need to order new parts. Every week, the morning of my estimated completion date I get a text message pushing the date out another week.

I took my vehicle to have a hand size dent repaired on the bed. After trying to repair the factory panel it was determined that the entire bed side needed to be replaced. I was told that the entire repair would take 2 to 3 weeks. As the weeks progressed my completion date changed several times. 73 days later my vehicle was “ready”. I picked up my vehicle late in the day and didn’t really have time to inspect it however I did notice that my vehicle was very dirty. I was expecting my vehicle to be washed and dried for its presentation but instead it was covered in Bodyshop dust and pollen and apparently was in the body shop for some time with either the windows down or the doors open because there was sanding dust throughout the interior. I also hade tools and other belongings in the bed and they didn’t even attempt to cover my items to keep them protected. I drove it home and inspected it the next day and found several issues. Currently awaiting them to schedule a time to get my vehicle back in the shop to repair the issues. Very frustrating that I payed truck payments and insurance, around $1,800 total, on a vehicle that I was unable to use and it’s still not completed.

Had my vehicle repaired here and it looks amazing!! I was in an accident which was not my fault. So, insurance with the other party covered the damages. Front bumper was painted, however they did not repaint the ENTIRE bumper. I wish I would have been informed of this, because I would have paid the difference out of my own pocket to have the entire bumper repainted. Making an appt with Kevin to repaint the whole bumper. They did fantastic work, but the OCD in me can see the difference and it bothers me. But I still give 5 stars and would highly recommend using this facility. Kevin was amazing to work with.

Three months ago (late November), Caliber repaired some localized damage after my car was in a low-speed collision. The work took a few weeks to complete (about a week longer than initially estimated) but appeared to be of high quality. So why just three stars? A week ago, I discovered that the one tire in the collision area had been inflated to 47 psi. That's 3 psi above the max. pressure and 14 psi above the recommended 33 psi. Thankfully, in the months following the repair, I've driven very little - only locally and at low speed. In different conditions (on a hot highway), the tire could have burst.

I am very disappointed with their work. My car was almost a month away just to repair the liftgate and bumper and other small things. They called me that it was ready and when I went the paint was not well and I went more than 2 times, I wasted my time, hours of work and finally when I picked it up, my car was very dirty inside and had scratches on the plastic covers and a lot of dust. The secretary at the front did not have a good attitude, she was not friendly, she should be a little more professional and understand the customer well.

I’m really disappointed that the “repairs” to my vehicle didn’t even last a full year, and Caliber has been giving me the runaround (6+ calls and a visit on my end and no call back or update) on reimbursement after I had to pay to get it fixed again due to their tech’s shoddy work. Based on my experience, I would avoid this shop. On a separate issue, they repaired a wheel for me and I had to drive up there 3 times and refuse to accept it before it was finally addressed. Overall, there seems to be little quality control and not much pride taken in the work.

My experience with Caliber had several highs and lows. At first, I was very impressed with their communication and how quickly they were able to get my van in for repairs. However, when I returned a week and a half later, it seemed the job had been rushed. There was silver paint on a black foot plate and loose black accent moldings that didn’t match the undamaged side. It appeared the vehicle hadn’t been thoroughly checked before I was called for pickup. I contacted my representative at Caliber, who assured me the correct parts would be ordered that day and asked me to call the following week to schedule installation. I called twice and learned the parts still hadn’t been ordered. Once they finally were, I was able to come in easily, and the replacement pieces looked much better. Unfortunately, after that visit, my blind spot monitoring system began malfunctioning—even though it had worked properly before. I called Caliber again and had to follow up twice before being asked to bring the vehicle back. I was told a diagnostic and test drive were completed and that no issues were found, and I was advised to check with the dealership. Throughout the process, everyone I interacted with was polite. However, I would have preferred a smoother experience that required only two visits: one for the initial drop-off and one for pickup, rather than multiple follow-ups and returns.
