First off I would like to say I’ve had the FULL experience dealing with Car Corral and honestly if I need another vehicle in the future…. I’m checking them out first! Please read full review for the most honest review. Sorry for the Long story: I recently traded in a at this dealership end of April/early May 2023. I went and looked at a diesel that they had listed at a very fair price online. Comparing similar models and miles to listings at big dealers it was somewhere around $1-$2k under the market standard. I spoke with Carl over the phone asking questions about it before heading over and he told me all the details about the truck. While doing some number crunching on my end I strolled the lot and found something else that caught my eye. Went in the office and asked to check out a different truck that I saw (which was higher in price but still asking a more than fair price for). They didn’t quickly go and add tire pressure or do anything else but pull it up for me. It was road ready. Took it for a test drive and fell in love. Came back and spoke with Matt and Carl and said that this is the one. We figured out the final number after they openly gave me a Military discount and I called my credit union and got the ball rolling. The next day I came back with the check and the vehicle I was trading in. When I arrived my new truck was pulled up and wiped down ready to go. When I finished signing papers Carl told me they do a 30 day powertrain warranty on their vehicles that they sell. I thought that was pretty nice of them. Most dealers don’t do that unless you buy an extended service contract. You know, that annoying phone call that we all get. Well… I’m sure glad they had that warranty!! 5 days after buying my new truck I has hearing some weird noises at the shift point. Didn’t notice it on the test drive. Ended up getting a few check engine codes going home from work. I called the dealership and they forwarded me to their service dept. They told me if I can get it to them that night they will will squeeze me in. Dropped it off on a Wednesday evening and by Thursday afternoon they let me know that I need…a new transmission. My heart sank. Couldn’t believe it. My daily driver is down and needing very costly and timely repairs. I didn’t even have to ask about the warranty or if it was going to be covered. They flat out told me it was and you know what…they kept their word!!! No deductible, no BS! 8 days later I’m back on the road with a new Rebuilt transmission that comes WITH a WARRANTY!!!! Matt and car corral crew took care of me very well and have made my experience very pleasurable. Like I said before, they will be my 1st stop when I’m looking for another vehicle. They earned my trust and I will be sending anyone I know who is looking for a new vehicle their way!

My fiance, Isaac got a Nissan sedan for the 30th avenue car corral and we love it so much. They really paid attention to detail when fixing and cleaning the car. We've had it for a month and no problems what so ever. I will definitely go back for my next car. Matt was super nice and knowledgeable about the cars he was selling and asked us what exactly we were looking for and showed us all the options with in our price range.

Sadly our experience with Car Corral was not positive. We were excited to purchase a 2006 Lexus 330 SUV. We drove from Rockford, IL to Kenosha, WI to purchase the vehicle. The salesman told us that Wisconsin law requires used car dealerships to conduct safety checks on all vehicles. He was putting down Illinois and saying that IL does not require safety checks. When we reached home, we discovered a headlight and taillight were out. The radiator began leaking, and we took the SUV back to Car Corral. They said the radiator was cracked. They replaced the radiator since we were within the 30 day window for the warranty. This led to an AC condenser being replaced. When we brought the SUV home, it started having electrical problems. The SUV was towed back to Car Corral. After several days, we were told that the switch for the rear window was faulty and had to be replaced. All of these problems from an SUV that had a thorough safety check before it was sold? Very dishonesty and shady company.
