Had a Compustar 6900-AS remote start with alarm installed. The system has conflicts with factory options such as Auto Unlock door handles. Now I have to manually unlock doors or the alarm goes off and it effects additional safety equipment in the car too, such as blind spot monitors. When I asked them to make the program adjustments that, according to the manufacturer, “only the installer can do to the system”, the Car Tunes guy says I’m not doing it again, the manager says you’ll get used to it. Don’t put this in a newer vehicle, it may be ok in an older vehicle without any technology in it. This stystem is a step backwards in technology and Car Tunes customer service is lacking. If this system is what you want go to Best Buy. It’s an easy installation, no wires to splice just a programmed module to plug in and an antenna to install. Best Buy treats customers well there. I should have read the reviews, done more research, and found a company that’s customer friendly. Trust your instincts. If you walk in their front door, you’ll see what I mean. Signs all over the place “No Refunds” “No Returns” “No Exchanges “ They should add “No Good Service”. Years ago the owner Rob was a good guy to deal with. Today it’s nothing like it was, Rob’s not there and the good service left with him. Too bad. My best advice is STAY AWAY
