★☆☆☆☆ I spent well over $7000 getting my transmission replaced in my 2014 Nissan Maxima 3.5 L engine SV this was last May in 2025 and here we are in March just under a year later and I took it to my regular mechanic in San Antonio and after they did a thorough inspection, they informed me I needed to replace all six motor mounts in my car and this could’ve been done by cargo when they replaced my transmission a year ago they did not offer to do so when they were replacing my transmission but why on earth would somebody pay $7000 for a transmission and not get new mounts put with the new transmission??? This to me is looking a lot closer to an intentional neglect on their mechanics part using shady work ethics to attempt an enforcement of future unnecessary repair cost when they could’ve just recommended the replacement of my six mounts WHILE they were taking the transmission out in the first place anyway. If i wouldve known or been informed of the neglect in replacing these mounts then i would’ve gladly paid for the extra cost to do so THEN. I’m sorry but common sense and anybody’s eyes would say replace the motor mounts when you replace your transmission after all it’s a 2014. I’m pretty sure those motor mounts are worn out.!
