Always a pleasant experience here! Customer service is great and they are always patient with myblack of car knowledge. I go here for my regular oil changes and I trust them to do other maintenance and repair on my car. When my car was hit and damaged, they recommended a great autobody shop for what they couldn't do in house. I'm very thankful for Zach in the service department who is always honest and makes me feel confident that I am being taken care of.

I wish I could give 0 stars. Bought my car here and had no issues with the sales team. This review reflects primarily the service team. Rarely friendly - doesn’t matter who you “check in” with. Shawn is the only advisor who has taken time to explain delays. Have NEVER waited less than 2.5 HOURS for an oil/filter change, tire rotation/balance. There is absolutley nothing quick about their service. And it doesn’t always seem to be an overbooked schedule issue. Can’t complain about the service performed but have never waited longer than 20-30 minutes for OVER THE TOP routine car maintenance prior to my experience with this business. So if you have absolutely nothing better to do on your days off than wait for hours on end for a routine maintenance for your vehicle, this is your place. Would not recommend to ANYONE otherwise.

If I could give less then 1 Star I would. I had shopped online for a new truck I put in the request on their website to be contacted by a sales person. Multiple days went by before hearing anything at all from them and then the flood gates opened with multiple calls and texts in the middle of the work day when I couldn’t answer. When I got free from work I replied to a text and told them that because I travel for my job I don’t have a lot of time to talk on the phone but would like to give them all the info if exactly what I was looking for, my trade in, down payment etc. I got a reply that it would be passed on. Then the phone went silent no emails or calls or texts nothing at all. even after I wrote back to the number that text me nothing. Finally I called into the dealer and the person I had been working with was not working that day (Saturday) but there was a sticky note that they wanted me to bring my trade in to check it out. At this point still no offers on what I was looking for no communication until I called in but hey they want to see my trade in. The girl on the phone asked if I would like to speak to the manager I said sure! So he gets on the phone apologizes to me and said this had been assigned to a sales person and they were suppose to be reaching out to me and asked if they had....I said well no that’s why I’m calling you. He then told me he would handle it from here on out personally we talked about what I was looking to buy even down to what colors I like finally a breath of fresh air. I gave him the vin to my trade in so he could get more of an idea on what kind of deal they could swing for me (I was looking at a $76k truck) so I’m thinking this is great the manager is going to work with me! Guess what phone, texts, emails all went silent no offers, scheduling for a test drive, nothing! Now the manager had let me down as well when he said he himself would take care of me. Days go by, then the next Saturday comes and during the week I had been window shopping online at other dealers because at this point I’m frustrated. I put in a request at this other dealer online and get a call almost immediately, tell them what I’m looking to trade in etc. and wow they are on top of it and by lunch time I have my new truck and such a great experience. Carl Black you dropped the ball big time. You lost a good sale from lack of customer service but here’s the cherry on top. I get a call Saturday afternoon from a new salesman from Carl Black not the manager who had promised me he personally would take care of me on my truck buying needs. When I told them I had just bought a truck all they cared about was trying to dig for more info like who I bought it from, my reply.... a dealer who actually responds to emails and phone calls and doesn’t take a month to make me an offer.

We have been loyal customers for many years. We have a warranty engine problem and there solution is to drop car off and they will get to it when they can (told to expect 3-4 weeks). This is absolutely unacceptable, we can make do being without a car for a day or two but not a month. When I told them that was unacceptable they said I could try another dealership. Called another dealer and have a scheduled appointment in 3 days. We have been unhappy with service for a while. Carl Black just lost a loyal customer.

Only in for an oil change which I guess was ok technically; however, pretty pricey. Over $200 for a Chev Colorado. In addition to the price, they neglected to put down the paper floor mat. So after parting with over $200, we were treated to greasy footprints all over our grey floor mat. One of the employees tried to wash it which only made it a wet, greasy mess. No offer to replace or compensate us. Needless to say, I can't recommend this place - although other types of work might be ok.

Tries to sell parts and services you do not need. I understand being in the business of making money, but I took my car in for a check engine light and one repair. They sent a report saying I should do over $800 of items to my car, one of them being my engine air filter. I took my car to another Chevy dealership for an oil change and engine air filter in late-October, so I knew I did not need another engine air filter in December. When I picked my car up, I asked about the lifespan of an engine air filter and was told that it depends, but that I should not need one just slightly north of a month after paying another dealership to replace it. I asked if it looked like the other dealership had charged me and not done the work and I was told that Carl Black had photos of my engine air filter being dirty and could send them to me. I left the dealership and called the dealership that I had do the work in October to let them know it had been suggested to me that I paid for an engine air filter, but did not get one. They asked me to bring my car in and bring the photos from Carl Black. I called Carl Black and left a voicemail letting them know I needed the photos of the dirty air filter from my vehicle. It is 72 hours later and I have not received a call back, but in the meantime, I had my engine air filter checked and I saw for myself that my engine air filter is brand new and did not need replacement. Carl Black tried to sell me something that I clearly did not need and they led me to believe the other dealership had wronged me. Be sure to double check your recommended work and know 100% if you need it or not before approving. They easily could have made me pay over $80 for an engine air filter when mine was practically brand new and I had just paid another dealership for the same work.

Absolutely amazing experience the last two days. I had a sunroof issue that I was eager to get fixed before the rain came in. The whole service department was AMAZING and so helpful to make sure everything was taken care of. They offered me a shuttle driver to make sure I got to work on time after I dropped my car off and picked me up to take me back to the dealership. The driver was prompt and so friendly both days I needed the service. Jay at the front desk was so communicative and so kind. Thank you for starting my days off so great and making a somewhat stressful issue easy to deal with! I appreciate y’all!

I CAME IN FOR A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT, IT'S BEEN 2+ MONTHS NO CAR, OVER $20K (said i needed a new engine which I am starting to think was a scam), HAVENT EVEN OFFERED ME A RENTAL CAR OR A LOANER LOOK AT YELP = 2.4 stars = STILL TOO HIGH This is what has happened since I brought it in for a check engine light (I wish I never did). SAID I NEED A NEW ENGINE, SAID I NEED A NEW CLUTCH, fix it and come pick it up, and the brakes and the convertible top were now broken. (btw the top was working when I brought it in FOR YEARS NO ISSUES, and broke in the shop - they damaged a sensor - and they blamed me and made me pay for it), week later they say Ok come back guess what, top still broken, week later they say Ok come back guess what, top still broken, week later they say Ok come back guess what, top still broken, NO SERIOUSLY, THAT'S NOT A TYPO THAT'S RIGHT I HAD TO COME BACK 4 TIMES FOR THE SAME REASON TO GET THE TOP FIXED. ASKING OFF OF WORK EACH TIME AND UBERING THERE AND BACK FOR NO REASON, AND NEVER GAVE ME A RENTAL, ALWAYS SAID THEY WERE OUT OF LOANERS Finally get the car back, next day the A/C goes out. Back in the shop, finally get the car back. GUESS WHAT... A few days later the CLUTCH goes out while i'm driving on the road WITH MY FAMILY AND DOG... So guess what back in the shop... This started 6/14, It is now 9/28 and they are REORDERING a 2nd engine and haven't even given me an estimate of when my car will be back IF I EVER SEE IT AGAIN?!?!. I haven't even seen my car since it was towed away on 9/1.. The reason that I've finally ran out of patience is because I really need some transportation so I called today to beg for a loaner car or a rental. I NEVER HEARD BACK!! CALLED ALL DAY AND THEY WERE BUSY!! CALLED AND TEXTED FROM 10AM - 5PM.. 7 HOURS. .just hoping to HEAR BACK on if I could get a loaner or some help... NEVER EVEN HEARD BACK.. ALL DAY. THey said they would get back to me ASAP and never did. I'm going to keep it a buck.. Because of how bad the SERVICE CENTER is at Carl Black chevy, I dont think I'll ever purchase another chevy again. Dealing with this place is a nightmare.. They seriously seriously have made me dislike my own car and wish I had something else just so I did not have to deal with this place anymore. Ill never buy a chevy again BECAUSE OF THIS SERVICE CENTER. I'm down OVER 20k and have not had my car for 2 months and I couldn't get them to return my phone call FOR THE ENTIRE DAY today when I was asking about a rental or loaner vehicle. And BTW their customer service is ALWAYS this bad. It's an absolute nightmare. I honestly HONESTLY have to believe everyone that left a 5 star review, either is lying, got lucky, or knows someone that works there... HONESTLY IF YOU'RE READING THIS GO SOMEWHERE ELSE AND THANK ME LATER ... EDIT ... NOW my dog is sick and needs medicine and I have no way to get her around :(

Horrible service department. Dysfunctionally managed as the service manager, Kyle himself lacks communication skills. They are behind on servicing vehicles yet two times I called to check on status at 5pm all advisors, techs and management were all gone yet department is open til 6. Promised updates from Kyle, yet he left early and did not call me with update. This happened multiple times with manager and advisor. I suggest senior leadership look into the mismanagement going on in their service department.

Scheduled new tires, oil change, wheel alignment. How do you tell me my truck is ready for pickup. I go pick it up. Get home and check paperwork and no wheel alignment. Cal back up there. And now it been 2 days and the guy won't return phone calls. So very unprofessional. I called early morning next day after I picked it up. Guy had an entire day to call me and reschedule. But I guess once you have my money it's not important anymore.

Very disappointing experience. Have been a customer for 10+ years and was charged over $200 just to be told the rear compartment would need to be torn down for an actuator diagnosis. Spoke with another mechanic who said the teardown would be a last resort, and there are several quick and easy assessments to do before a rear compartment tear down. In addition, entirely unnecessary upsells that are not even recommended for a vehicle of my age and mileage were proposed (some that are entirely unnecessary for any vehicle at any age). Carl Black has lost my trust, and has likely lost my business. CB Service, I'd recommend being more transparent with your customers in the future about pricing, the steps taken for diagnostics, and indicating when or why a particular "recommendation" is proposed. I understand you're a business, but taking advantage of longtime customers is not a recipe for success.

This dealership is by far the best Chevy dealership in the area. I've been to a few others and this one tops it. They have really competitive prices. Today I purchased my 2nd set of tires from them as they truly are the best in town! Jimmy was my service advisor and he was awesome, super attentive and professional. I appreciate coming here.
