My husband and I took our jeep there to get it re-geared. We’re told to drop it off on Monday morning and we would have it back that afternoon. We called Monday afternoon and no one would answer. We called the Greer location and they answered and had someone from the Greenville location call us back. The guy said all the parts hadn’t come in and they would call us Wednesday with an update. Wednesday rolls around no call. Thursday rolls around no call and every single time we called no one would answer or call us back. Friday rolls around and I went up there to be told it wasn’t done and they had to replace ball joints. 1700 dollars later and I get in it to find the check engine light on and they couldn’t even fix the speedometer that gets off track when you re-gear a car. This place is a JOKE.

The guys at Carlton Custom have been working on my Jeep for years! They always do great work, in a timely manner. There fab work is top notch, and there machine shop does awesome work! I had custom axles built for my Jeep several years ago and have had no problems with them at all. I would recommend Carlton Custom for any Truck, Jeep or custom machine work!!!

I purchased a luxury vehicle from this dealership 4 months ago, the buying experience was good, spent over $70,000. 2 days later i discovered the back door latch didn't lock. I called immediately, my sales person said because this is a out of town purchase(2 hours away) we will drive down, leave you a car , repair and return your vehicle. I thought GREAT, what awesome customer service. Well the manager rodney maddox stopped that and had the salesperson to tell me to take it to my local dealership for repair. I was disappointed because i had to miss work for a couple of hours and felt i shouldn't be bothering with ANY repairs within days of purchase. I swallowed hard and did just that. Now i have driven 8,000 miles and need tires. All rodney maddox has to say is we replaced 2 front tires and the rear was ok during the cert on that car. during the conversation he overtalked me, his tone was harsh and he had no concerns with me having to spend money on a new vehicle. i expressed to him that i was disappointed with the company not willing to stand behind the Mercedes Brand or his company service and that i would write a review of his treatment and he replied i was going to pass this to my GM but since you said that i wont and hung up on me. This company is horrible, i understand things can be overlooked but that's the time an reputable company make things right. I know they show good reviews, but they have treated me very disheartening . I don't know if it's because i don't live in SC or that I'm a women. Rodney should be in no one's management position. Do not buy from this company, the days are over of treating people that are different from you DIFFERENT and UNFAIRLY

I picked up my truck today and couldn't be happier! Nick and Buddy gave great advice and I wound up with a great finished product in my 2017 Sierra lift kit and tires/wheels. They took the time to listen to what I was wanting and helped me choose a great combo. Highly recommend! I have only driven thruck a bit today but so far the work seems spot on.

If I could give them 0 stars I would, this is the only location I had a problem with, Greer location is amazing, but this one I won’t come here again , they over price everything, guy who answers the phone cussed me out just because I didn’t bring my Jeep to get something done by them in told him I took it to my mechanic in got the job done for 500 dollars cheaper in his feelings got hurt in told me to not come back here again. I don’t recommend coming here unless you wanna get ripped off in get overpriced on something.

Dealership I purchased my truck from had trouble installing a new steering rack because of the lift kit. Brought the truck here to drop off as they said they probably wouldn't be able to get to it for a week or so which was no biggie. Got a call a couple hours after drop off saying that they got had a few minutes to look at it and the truck was done and ready to ride. Price seemed fair and I've no complaints.

I came here 7 years ago in 2015 and they fixed my problem. I came again today in 2022 and they fixed my tire balance issue that discount tire tried multiple times on. Good place. They do road force balance right, so if that's what you want, and you want it done right. . .Come here

There’s a big difference between experiencing good customer service while getting an oil change vs. a more complex suspension installed. No “Parts Changers” work here. The level of expertise & experience at this location is exemplary, they have the equipment required to perform most any repair or upgrade very well, AND they exceeded my customer service expectations.

I dropped off my truck to get some 7500 pound airbags put in the rear. I got the truck back the next morning. It was raining and they still came out and demonstrated how to use the airbags. I moved to Greenville about two years ago and finally have decided on a 4 x 4 shop to take my F250. If you need some work done, go to Carlton Custom’s. They will treat you very well.

Buddy, Robert, and Charlie did a fantastic job on my Ford F250 body mounts. They were fast and efficient. I have another project they are helping me with as welI. I put some photos below of before and after. My truck body lines used to not line up at all with the bed. Now, it rides great again and all the body lines are great. l. I suggest giving them a call for your 4x4 needs.
