Shawn has been nothing short of a wonderful and communicative help! My car was in for a little longer than expected, but the constant and quick communication every Tuesday and Thursday helped alleviate any sort of wonders. I went to get my spoiler fixed, and David was very helpful. It took longer than expected because David discovered that the original spoiler was glued on incorrectly, so he took the time to make sure it was fixed right without messing up the paint on the trunk. I'm really grateful that he didn't rush it! My spoiler is now in perfect condition and looks far better than when I first got the car (it was brand new). Also, the people who work at the front desk are really kind and helpful. They made sure that I had transportation while my car was in the shop. I've had some bad experiences with collision centers before, but that was definitely not the case here. I would recommend this place for sure!

Shawn and Jaime were very caring and understanding. Our situation was extreme,I had no idea how we were going to get our car back to it's old self. It was a very emotional day for me. Jaime was very reassuring as I explained to him all repairs would be self pay. Shawn and his team did an awesome job on the needed repairs they even went above and beyond. Absolute worst experience of my life. I trusted these people to do what was right and they failed not only once but three times. Took my truck in for a small debt no bigger than a baseball in the bottom of my door. They ended up painting both of my doors, and the paint job was so bad you could actually feel the texture when you rubbed your hand across it. The orange peal was extremely bad to the point that you couldn’t even make out your reflection. Took it back to have that corrected and they kept my truck for a week. I got it back and not only was the paint still in bad condition, but they had overspray on my windows that they had actually buff off and the buffer created so much heat it ruined the laminate and the tint on my windows. Took it back a few months later to have a paint corrected again, and I was advised that they had done a clear out of some employees and management and that they are assured me that this time it would be corrected. I left my truck again with them for four days. They called me on the fourth day and told me my truck was ready and within 15 minutes upon arriving to pick up my truck they called me and told me it had been broken into and that the police were on the way to take a report.when I got there, I discovered the back window had been busted out and someone had entered my truck and removed items totaled about $2500. All in the middle of the day, where everyone was parked. Then I got told that they were not responsible and that I would have to report it to my insurance which I have a deductible and also personal items are not covered inside of the vehicle. So I am still in the process of trying to get their insurance to cover the damage done to my car because I was not in possession of my vehicle at the time and they were. And because I have filed a report with my insurance to try to get the damaged paid for by their insurance, they are refusing to do any future work on my vehicle like replacing the broken window. So now I’m also out of the personal items that were stolen and no one is going to reimburse me for those items. If they had done the job correctly, the first time and maybe even the second time I would’ve not had my vehicle there for the third time when it was broken into. The absolute worst place that I’ve ever been in my 53 years so please do yourself a favor, read my review and stay away.

Carolinas Collision is one of those places you don't choose to be there, but if you need them, I couldn't imagine a better service. I got into an accident that smashed my whole passenger door in. It did take three weeks to fix, but Shawn explained everything to me upfront. They were so transparent from the beginning and did everything they could to get my car back to me in a reasonable time. Also, he was so respectful and answered all my questions, which as a woman I greatly appreciated. My car so looks fantastic! Also, they have a partnership with Enterprise, so that makes dealing with the rental process so much easier. I hope I never have to go back, but if I do, I'm glad I have them to turn to.

I came here for service as part of an insurance claim to repair and replace body work on my vehicle. The service took about 3 weeks, and I was extremely satisfied with the consistent communication I received prior to dropping off my vehicle and throughout the repair process. The front desk staff and the support person handling my repair, Shawn, were friendly and responsive. The interior and exterior of my vehicle were nicely cleaned when I picked up my vehicle and my vehicle looks and feels normal again. Since I went through insurance, I cannot comment on the price of the services beyond my deductible, but I would recommend for the customer service and quality of service.

Front desk people are sweet and helpful but Lisa is extremely rude. Yelled all my info at me across the waiting room the first time I came in with my car and told me to call my insurance rather than handling it herself. So I took my car as the claims were messed up and I had work. Then when I got my claims sorted as requested and was ready to take my car in she refused me service and said they would not work on my car. Good riddance.

Highly recommend this business! These people were extremely helpful and friendly. I had a 2012 orange honda fit that was totalled, and they held it long enough for me to come and sell it. These are 100% good people and I can't thank them enough. Gail was extremely helpful explaining everything to me over the phone when I first called, and Lisa was also very helpful and friendly by calling a few places to help me sell my car. And thank you to Rick who was the one who looked at my car and was honest with the costs of repairs and damage. I can't thank you guys enough!

Worst Display of Professionalism in Recent History My husband and I were in a funeral home parking lot viewing his mother before her service. Our van was bumped into by another family. They notified us and gave us their insurance information. I say all this to say none of this was our fault, we were not even in the car at the time someone backed into it. And we have been completely frustrated by this experience. We contacted Progressive Insurance and they referred us to another body shop who was extremely backed up; hence we were then directed to Carolina Collision Center in Durham. The only appointment available was at 8:00 on a Tuesday morning. We drove an hour to their shop expecting them to look at our car, give us an estimate and pick up our rental car. We sat inside and waited for over 20 minutes. Finally, Lisa came into the lobby with a clipboard in her hand. We had no idea she had been looking at our van. She proceeds to stand about ten feet away from us in the lobby to tell us what she has found out about my van. Both receptionists and the General Manager could hear the entire conversation. She tells us that our car is older (like we didn't know this) and that it had low mileage but it still might be totaled. She couldn't enter any of the data into "her system" and couldn't determine how much damage there was or if it was going to be totaled or not. We said okay, we will pay for repairs even if it is totaled. We will take possession of it after the insurance company declares it totaled and then proceed to pay for repairs. She then tells us that "IF we tear it apart and deem it totaled we will not put it back together nor will we repair it". So, basically, we have a car with fender and bumper damage that is drivable at this point and you are going to tear it apart and we will have to have a rollback or wrecker come get it? This was an awful experience and the WORST professionalism I have seen demonstrated in a very long time.

I was super nervous to let anyone work on my car after I got in a wreck with my mustang mache. Not a lot of repair centers around here have the correct amount of knowledge when it comes to fixing EVs. Mike was amazing at putting all my worries at bay! Him and his team communicated at every step of the way and made sure to go the extra mile to make sure that my car was back in the same condition when I first purchased it. As a thirty something millennial who’s never had to have any minor or major car repairs done— I was a bit at a loss after my Honda got rear ended, but my experience with Carolina Collisions made an otherwise worrisome event stress free. Since I wasn’t at fault in the accident my claim was completely paid for by the other insurance company, so I can’t really speak on behalf of pricing. But, it was quite a bit of work done to my back end, new lift gate and all. Melissa talked me through all the steps of what to expect and how it’s done. I was told to expect a 7-10 work day timeline on repairs, so I wasn’t surprised or annoyed by my wait time. Plus, I was constantly kept in the loop on my cars progress with text updates. Then, when Mike and Brian ran into a bigger issue they called me and walked me through all the options and outcomes. They were friendly and answered all my questions. My car was returned clean inside and out and the repairs look fantastic; you’d never know I was even in an accident. I couldn’t recommend this location (Durham) more.
