Chris and Jay are amazing. Both went above and beyond to make sure I got everything I needed and was happy with my new rim/tire install. Even after closing time when an issue with my lug nut size was preventing the install Chris personally directed me and accomplished obtaining the correct lug nuts to complete my install and make sure I left happy. I’d give them 10 stars if I could. Highly recommend this location, by far the best auto shop experience I’ve ever been through. These guys deserve some recognition for their hard work and dedication! Again thank you guys so much! You’ve gained a customer for life!

Ladies Run! They bait & switched tires 2x after dropped off car 1st set called a couple hours later Cant get them Switched to another set hours later go to pickup had a 3rd set on car I didn't pick the buy3-1free wasn't for "this" set on the car already!! so they gave the discount here's where they got me back - He sold them as No Warranty! Tires sold as "standard" I missed it because who knew they could do that I would never knowingly choose No Warranty on 4 tires. also another lady there had to call her Dad!! because they had her car on lift and were trying to get her to ok a huge repair..her Dad got there and the guy yells "Drop the car her Dad's here"

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Pep Boys. It has been my 3rd time visiting their location to have my brakes repaired, and although they ultimately so called “fixed the issue”, my brakes still screech when I brake. The overall experience was completely unacceptable. Also. There was a “popping” noise coming from under my car after I had them look at my vehicle. The biggest issue, however, was the complete lack of transparency and trustworthiness displayed by the staff. I was not confident that they had my best interests in mind, and I felt taken advantage of. I will never return to Pep Boys again, and I would strongly advise others to avoid them as well. There are far better options available for car repairs, and I would recommend exploring those instead. One star is even too generous for this place.

Wanted to take a moment to applaud Kevin the general store manager at PepBoys. I made an appointment to get a tire pressure sensor fixed. Although they were not able to fix the problem (larger problem likely electrical/computer system) he was very kind and very honest. One of the first times that I’ve felt like the technician knew what they were talking about and being truthful about the issue. Didn’t end up charging me anything because they were unable to fix the problem. I really appreciated that- other places would surely not do the same. I’ll be taking my car back. Thanks so much to Kevin for being an outstanding employee and person!

Terrible service! They have only 1 mechanic. I had been waiting for almost an hour, but my car still set in the same spot even though I made the appointment. When I asked when they would start the workup, they weren’t sure, and my service won't be able to be completed in 2 hours, saying “everyone has made their appointment.” If you have only 1 person, you should do a better job of arranging the schedule of appointments instead of accepting whatever appointment ppl made. I also called the day before to check if my appointment could be done by a certain time, and the staff confirmed that’s why I am here. In the end, I left the shop without anything done. It’s just wasting time and very unprofessional!

They gave me a flat tire at their shop. I took my car to this shop for its annual inspection because it's across the street from my workplace. I left the car with them and went to work. Six hours later, I returned to the shop. They told me my car failed the inspection because a tire was damaged. I haven't had any problems with my tires, so I decided to take it to another shop. I asked them to return my car and paid the appropriate amount for their service. I barely got home with a completely flat tire. You can imagine my frustration.

First-time customer, and unfortunately, it will be my last. I came in for a coolant flush and expected the job to be done properly. When I got home, I checked under the hood and was surprised to find the coolant reservoir completely empty. I ended up having to buy my own coolant and fill it myself — which defeats the purpose of paying for the service in the first place. Very disappointed with the lack of attention to detail.

Pep Boys advertised a $9.99 A/C inspection coupon. I booked my car, confirmed the coupon with the front desk, and was told everything was good to go. They took my vehicle for the entire half a day — no updates, no communication — only to call me at the end and say, “Oh, sorry, the coupon doesn’t apply to your car.” No explanation. No courtesy. Just a lazy attempt to upsell me to $120+ for the exact same inspection I was promised for ten bucks. This is a blatant bait-and-switch. They confirmed the deal at drop-off, wasted my entire day, and then tried to pull a fast one. It’s dishonest, unprofessional, and straight-up scummy behavior. Pep Boys clearly doesn’t care about customer trust or transparency — just how much they can squeeze out of you last minute. Avoid this location like the plague. I’ll never bring my vehicle to any Pep Boys again.

Very bad alignment service. They wouldn't share the alignment report. When I test drove the car, the alignment is even worse than before. They just do not care and do not know how to do a proper alignment. I will not come back to this location again!

I thought I was treated pretty good but from the sounds of the people working there, it seemed like their agenda was to get solid one star reviews. One guy even boasted that now that the old 5 star management has gone, they should not have to worry about 5 star reviews every again. Both tires were improperly inflated, one was very low and the other very high. The sensors on the tires were reversed. I took it elsewhere to get corrected. i noticed every customer who was there that day were problem customers. I was told it's like that every day. If you don't want to deal with customers, just shut down. I will not be going there again.

I went here a few times because i made the mistake of buying their warranty, and every single time I've had issues. Adding bs charges, doing shitty jobs, etc. They tried to sell me tires by lying and claiming my tires were old and in dire need of change when i had just got them changed a month ago. A friend of mine also came in for an oil change, waited almost 4 hours, got his car back and they straight up had not change his oil.

The guys at pepboys are awesome. This is roughly my 4th visit and because I have a fleet vehicle sometimes they have to go the mile for approval. Every now and again there are some complications on the pepboys side but they are doing their best as a team. Thanks for great customer service.

Customer service was too tier, but actually service…horrendous. Took my car here for a simple Brake + Rotor replacement, got my car back with the Caliper Locked on front driver side. In the parking lot. Came back, they said I needed to replace the caliper (which required I turn in my custom-colored Mopar calipers). Afterwards, they again gave me my car with front driver side brake not releasing . Decided to take it to another Pep Boys due to warranty (Chapel Hill location). You guessed it…got my car back with the same brake making noise, overheating, and smoking. Called Corporate, some guy named Steve Hinkle was supposed to call. I receive no call. When calling corporate for a second time, they state that it was investigated and closed. I demanded they reopened it (How you investigate without calling anyone, especially since my issue is region wide, not a specific store). I call in a 3rd time and got a horrible Customer Service agent that said “Just wait another 48hrs”. What started on Sept 13th is still going and its October the time of this review.

After waiting almost 3 hours in the store, they told me that my order had not yet been approved, but I had seen that it had been approved more than an hour earlier.

The manager Kevin was very helpful and knowledgeable He gave me some recommendations that I’ll be back to get taken care of. Justin the technician was very professional and showed me specifically what needed to be changed. Brakes and shocks need to be replaced Kevin gave me an estimate and I’ll be back in a couple of weeks to get them replaced Great shop and I’m going to recommend my daughter to come in and get her oil changed

Pep Boys repaired a screw in my tire. I was in and out within 30 mins on a Monday morning which saved my day. Damien from the front desk was very nice and helpful. Really appreciate this location fitting me in and fixing my tire quickly!

Subject: Online Appointment Issue – Wasted Time I made an online appointment with Pep Boys this morning and received a confirmation (Appointment ID available). I drove 30 minutes to the store, but when I arrived, the staff told me they could not honor the appointment and said that online appointments are not working and that they do not accept online appointments. If that is the case, I would like to ask why Pep Boys still offers an online appointment option on the website. This caused me to waste valuable time and fuel, which is not acceptable. Please clearly mention on your website if online appointments are not supported at certain locations, so customers do not waste their time driving to the store. I hope Pep Boys will address this issue and improve communication for customers in the future.

After I got a flat tire from a bolt on the road I needed the flat fixed. I went to this location after a tow because they were the closest for the repair. They did an excellent job repairing the flat and sent me on my way. 2 days after the repair though I noticed two of the bolts were snapped off. I returned and told them about those bolts and they were quick to get me situated and repair them free of charge. I understand mistakes happen and I was glad that they were able to fix the flat and repair the broken bolts.

Paid 700 dollars for an oil change, front brake replacement, and to check one of my coolant/service lights, and they ended up making my car worse. Just went to another mechanic today because my car has been shaking while driving and making a weird squeaking noise. Turns out my rear left tire was missing two lug bolts and the whole wheel was about to fall off. It doesn't help that when the guys at Pep Boys gave me back my car, the panel for my brake sensor lights was missing and I still had a service now sign on my BMW, and when I went to ask them about it they just said I needed to get it replaced (I got it replaced already in July), and had to convince the mechanics there to check my car out again. It was probably a bad idea to have a place like Pep Boys to check out a BMW, but I am very disappointed with the way they worked on my car.
