Yes took my vehicle 240E to have it checked out, it would not shift down get stuck in first. Told me what the problem was after a 3 misdiagnosis.. Off the bat stated was not the trans. but it was the gear shift itself that needed to be replaced.The work was done in like 24 hrs, and the price was very reasonable...I of course have to Thank The ALMIGHTY but also give thanks to the owner his mechanics. I would refer anyone to Milex Trans. Good job guys!!!!🤗🙏 Thank you!

I can’t say enough good things about this shop. When my car broke down and I brought it in, they not only gave me a clear and honest assessment of the transmission issue, but they also went above and beyond by allowing me to keep the car there for a week or two while I figured out my next steps. Great experience from start to finish! Rob and Kenny are experts at their craft and really care about taking care of the customers. I ended up having to have my transmission replaced, and Rob walked me through all the options, balancing how quickly I needed my car back and what my budget was. Excellent job done and the car is good as new. I'd highly recommend this neighborhood car shop if you want staff who genuinely care about providing great service at reasonable prices!

Friendly staff Took my truck to get a helicopter vibration on drivers front side sorted as well as concerns with brake performance. While they didn't try to sell me brakes they also said they didn't feel any vibration on a test drive. As I drove it out of the lot I felt it immediately. I ended up paying a diagnostic fee for no diagnosis for the issue. I took it somewhere else, their free diagnosis was a broken wheel hub- two studs were cross threaded and snapped off. So either Milex didn't do a thorough or honest investigation (skipping addressing the cross threaded lugs) or they cross threaded them there and said there wasn't an issue so they couldn't be held accountable.

I had an oil leak, and returned to the business that performed the service. Was told there the leak was not coming from the oil reservoir. I went to/called a number of other car care centers, but there was no availability. I passed Milex unsure of their service provisions and availability. Their location is hidden on Hwy 55 and their tag line “Mr. Transmission” is misleading. I learned that day Milex is a complete car care center and not just a transmission service center. I stopped and my car was inspected on the spot. The issue was a loosened oil drain plug. The mechanics at Milex were friendly, informative of cars and did not charge me a diagnostic or “repair” fee. During conversation, I learned their services for car maintenance were less than other centers I visit. Milex has earned a new customer.

Ford 2014 Running great! I came in for a loud noise grinding noise and rear deferential needed rebuilt , but parts unavaible so had to purchase already rebuilt part they thoroughly inspected it and was not up to their standards and sent it back and found another 2nd unit and warranty wasn't as long as first noted. My car is running great and cheaper then a new car. > They noted what else they saw but did not pressure to get done just to be aware of it will need to be addressed soon & I was aware of one of the repairs already so I know it was accurate. > Previous visit loud noise didn't present itself but was told about issue with front struts and what repair entails but also stated car was ok to drive but need to repair

In Oct 2023, I paid over $1700 for Mr Transmission to replace the clutch on my 2008 Jeep. This week, I took it to another auto repair for oil leaks and in their diagnosis, they told me I needed a new clutch. I was extremely skeptical since the clutch is not quite 2 years old and my last clutch lasted me 15 years……then they showed me the work Mr Transmission had done. It was utter trash. Bolts were loose/hand tightened, the clutch was warped, and they used silicone to try and seal up the spaces due to the loose bolts and warping. I took pictures back to Mr Transmission and they admitted that the work was bad, but refused to do anything to even partially make things right. Now I have to pay an additional $900 to the other auto repair to replace the clutch again and a gasket damaged by the silicone. If not for this other auto shop diagnosis, over time the work done by Mr Transmission could have resulted in even more damage to my Jeep and possibly my life.

I’m now in my second year working with Rob at Milex Complete Car Care, and I couldn’t be more satisfied. The shop has a welcoming atmosphere, and I’ve consistently been impressed by their professionalism and the timely manner in which they address issues. What sets Rob apart is his honesty, he never tries to push unnecessary “sales” or upsell services like many other places do. You simply explain the issue, they inspect it, provide a fair cost, and get the job done. If there’s an underlying concern, Rob will let you know, but he never pressures you into extra work. Over the past two years, I’ve had both of my front tie rods repaired here (on separate occasions), and each time my car came out running smoothly. I also rely on Milex for regular oil changes and tire rotations, and the service has always been excellent. In my experience, this is the best car care service in town. Professional, trustworthy, and dependable.
