Great place, but the phone number is wrong, it’s calling to a Latino tax center or something, probly missing a lot of business because of this

Always very friendly and professional. They always get me in and out fairly quick. This is my go-to local mechanic shop.

I take all my cars to this shop. They have never lied to me just because I'm a woman. they fix my cars and stand by their work every time.

This business is run very honestly, the staff are super friendly and as a person with mechanical skills of my own I can tell if I am being swindled. There are some repairs or vehicles they can't do here in their small shop but they are great at diagnosis and helpful with giving good recommendations.

I 'm giving them a one star because of the service and how it was handled. I paid $800 for a brake master cylinder rotors and pads. That I question if all was really needed. With 3 month I'm hearing squeaking and grinding noise. I have 3 cars so it's not like I drive the car to death. I take it back and I was told the back pads and rotors were bad. The car has 80k miles. And charged me $250. The noise was back within a day. Took it back and it is the front pads with they replaced but to keep it off I was told they would replace the pads in the front on Tuesday today is Friday. Really take your car to them if you want after Tuesday and the amount of $1050. I will never return. Very poor workmanship and quality. Take your car where you can get it serviced correctly the first time. $1050 is a lot to lose in 3 months time over Hope Valley 66 poor work. I am updating this to a 3. After talking with the owner. My car was fixed. The mechanic had placed my old brake pad back on my car. New pads were placed on and the car is fine with no other charges to me.

I'm a big fan of this business and the people who run it. I've taken our Toyota Highlander and Chevy Volt there probably 5-10 times each for various things over the years, and a handful of times (when it turned out they only needed to tighten or adjust something) they haven't even charged me, which I respect. I'm not a car expert, so I put a lot of value in car folks who I can trust, and the people at Hope Valley 66 have always given me great advice and reassurance.

I have been to these guys several times and always been pleased with the service. I have done a fair amount of work on cars myself, so I know what is reasonable, and they have always been more than fair in their pricing. The place may look run down, but the owners are friendly and courteous.

My husband always takes his cars here for servicing and inspections. He finds them accommodating and adequately knowledgeable about repairs. I have never heard him complain about the price. The station is old-fashioned which I think is nice. I like to see original older buildings being maintained and inhabited instead of being torn down and replaced with modern. The owner bought my husband's old truck and sold it from the lot. He is very helpful.

I have taken my car here multiple times. The owner and the workers are very nice and courteous. Very reasonable pricing, he is not out to get your money. They do all sorts of car repairs and if he can't do something he will call up someone that can. Do not be fooled by the appearance, it is a good car shop. I recommend it to everyone looking for a mechanic.

I thought this was a good place to go until our second visit. Our car never leaked oil until we took it to this place. They did not want to fix their mistake. Then out of no where another leak popped up in a different location. I don't want to make any assumptions but it feels like this place did some things to our car. It's worth paying the extra cost for quality service.

Best mechanic in Durham. They are very honest and fair with pricing. They will bring you back and show you what’s going on with your car. I completely trust them to work on all three of my cars.

I’ve been coming to this place for 7 years or so and every time has been a great experience! If you’re looking for quality work with a lower price, come here! The mechanic, Willie has over 20 years experience and it shows! He replaced my sway bar and rotors. Car is driving now like brand new! Very grateful.

Best place for NCDOT state auto inspection I have found in the 30 years I've lived in Durham! In the past, I've used Jiffy Lube, which is absolutely the worst; poor customer service and delays while workers carry on chats while ignoring customers. Auto dealerships and Firestone mean at least an hour before douing a job that only taakes about 15 min. I was in and out of Hope Valley 66 with a completed inspection and no advance reservation.
