My tire was fixed as it was pretty much flat as I drove it in. But....it was a LONG wait that seemed to take forever. I arrived there between 8 and 8:30 AM and waited. It really took several hours for a flat tire.

I will never go to that location again. I had been going there for years but quit a couple of years ago. The waiting area is dirty, and they broke off one of my lug nuts and want to charge me to fix it!!! I have left word with Customer Service about getting it repaired at Mr Tires cost and no one has called me back.

Biggest waste of time. Overpriced for absolutely nonthing, a diagnostic fee isn't a actual diagnostic just service fee's under a diffent name. Not knowledgeable enough to find the actual problem just looking to take your money for little to no results honestly worst experience I've ever had do not bring your car here. Your problems will still exist

The staff were knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. Besides the safety inspection, they also did a thorough check on my car for my stated issue and patiently reported the findings. I am very satisfied with my experience in the shop.

Helpful employees. The quoted price was exactly what i paid. The tire could not be repaired so I had to get a new one.

We needed a new tire and were quoted a $186 price including labor. My wife and I sat in the waiting room while our car was serviced. After about an hour the cashier told us it was ready. He said our payment was $46. Instead of charging us for a new tire, they fixed the puncture in our current tire. They could've easily charged us for a new tire instead of fixing the old tire which was still in good shape. We were so appreciative of their honesty. Treating customers with respect and honesty goes a long way.

Took 2.5 hours for an oil change on a 4 cylinder. Please just spend the extra money at another faster shop it's just not worth the wait. Cheap oil changes always come with extra annoyances. ALSO - my TPMS light was on, you'd think since they were taking so long on my car they were going through it thoroughly? Nah, light was still on when I left. Terrible terrible.

Had a completely deflated tired on Sunday morning, I called and spoke with Larry - I was able to walk in get a new tire and walk out in less than an hour. Staff are extremely knowledgeable, and did not try to upsell unnecessary add ons/products. Definitely will be coming back in the future!

I recently traveled from the west coast to the east coast along my travels I had a foreign object in my tire. I called them to stop over to have them look at the tire. They were professional and courteous. They fit me in the schedule and took a look but the object did not puncture the tire. They filled all 4 tires with air and returned the car without a service fee. That is my kind of business. 5 stars

Only went to get a state inspection. But they found front brakes failing and fires very near to failing. I knew tires were close, and plan to drive to the mountains in snow with kids in a week so was actually relieved to get this prompt to change tires along with getting the brakes done. They weee very patient explaining what state parts were in and offering choices of what got fixed, then getting it done while I waited.

I purchased a vehicle from a dealer back in July, the dealer had changed the spark plugs, coil packs, valve cover gaskets and spark plug o rings, however they had no record of the timing belt being done. So, I purchased the van and brought it to Mr. Tire to have the timing belt service performed (at a cost of $2200). Afterwards I started getting a random mis-fire code, and when I pulled the coil packs I found 3 of them had a lot of oil in them. I returned the vehicle to Mr. Tire and asked them to remove the valve cover and inspect this, perhaps they had missed something that allowed this to happen. I dropped off the van right before 7pm, and they called me at 9am the next morning, so obviously they did not actually remove the valve cover to inspect, they basically said "we don't know why" and so I went and retrieved my vehicle, I will know take it to another shop to have it diagnosed properly. 12/31 update: the reply from the 'owner' below is nonsense, they never bothered even trying to contact me, I will have to spend more $$ to get ti fixed at another shop.

I was glad to get squeezed in for a new battery, but I was not happy with the way my niece and I were treated. When I was given the diagnosis and the quote, I asked if it would be cheaper to walk to the part store next door and purchase the battery and bring it over ourselves (to save some money). Your guy said “Yes, sure, that’s fine” and gave me the sheet then we went through that whole process and it was not cheaper and caused us (and the employer at the auto supply store next door) undue stress (he came over to your store to address it) all for nothing. Your employee should have just told us. It would have been better customer service and basic human kindness. Thank you.

I went to Mr. Tire on S Miami Blvd in Durham for a state inspection, and it was a great experience! There were lots of available appointment times on the weekend which I appreciated. I dropped my car off and they called around an hour or two later to say the work was done. Everyone was really nice and great to work with!

I came in with a flat tire and was helped and ready to go within an hour. They were also able to change my oil ans replace my bad brake pads later that afternoon which was incredibly helpful. Everyone was kind and really turned a bad day into a better day

I got new brake pads on my Hyundai Tucson. The work was done in a timely manner, and I was treated with respect from the time I entered the shop until I left. They also checked my oil and put new windshield wipers on my car. Needless to say, I was totally satisfied with their excellent service.

Customer service was not punctual/organized. They said my car would be ready shortly since I just brought it in for my annual safety and emissions test after I dropped it off … no call. Then 4 hours later I called them, and they told me that they called me (which they didn’t) and that they were just now servicing my car. I told them to call me as soon as it was done. Three hours later I called them again, and they said they were just about to call me and let me know that it was done. 🤦🏻♂️

I visited Mr. Tire on 2811 Miami Blvd, Durham, NC on September 9, 2025, with the intent of replacing one tire. However, the staff convinced me to replace both front tires, citing that the second one was close to going bad. I agreed and ended up paying $123.99 per tire, plus $34 labor per tire, an $8 fee, and additional taxes and fees. At the same visit, I asked them to check the rear passenger tire for a slow leak. They told me it had a small nail but assured me it had not punctured the tire and did not need a patch or replacement. However, over the following weeks, I found myself adding air to that same tire every single day. I planned to take it back on Thursday, October 2, but on Wednesday night around 8:26pm (October 1), the tire blew out while I was driving to work. I attempted to change the flat only to discover the lug nuts had been stripped, leaving me stranded on the side of the road until AAA arrived. I didn’t get home until 3:30 a.m. due to this. The next morning, I returned to Mr. Tire expecting them to take responsibility. Instead, I was told they didn’t have the $124 replacement tire, and they charged me $173 for a different one. The total came to $210 even after a 10% discount—which seems like a tactic to recoup the cost of the lug nuts they stripped and didn’t charge me for. To top it all off, they broke my car key during the service. I now have to pay $150 out of pocket to replace it on the spot at my home. I will be filing a formal complaint regarding this experience. Mr. Tire has proven to be untrustworthy, overpriced, and careless with their service. I do not recommend this location to anyone looking for honest or reliable auto care.

0 Star – Absolutely Ridiculous I came in to get a single damaged license plate screw removed — a 2-minute job with the right tool. Instead, they made me wait 40 minutes and then charged me $37 just to remove and replace one screw. That’s outrageous. To make it worse, I was told the “threading was gone.” That’s simply not true. The issue was clearly the screw head, which was stripped — not the threading. Anyone looking at it can see that. It felt like an excuse to justify an inflated charge. This felt like being taken advantage of for a simple fix. Poor transparency, unnecessary wait time, and excessive pricing for basic work. And kept me and my pregnant wife waiting even with an appointment. Be very careful here. Ask for the price upfront before agreeing to anything. Or your welcome to get robbed!
