Great company and idea overall! I got into an accident on the 30th of August by backing into a hidden parking sign. I had to pay over $900 out of pocket, since they don't require you have their or some sort of insurance. I would have definitely paid the $1 fee for a $500 deductible. I talked with someone with relation to where the accident happened and he said that I should have gotten a longer payment plan (12 months). Even though I had enough to cover it, I now have $4 in my checking in part due to the short payment plan time as a first year college student. If this never happened, this would be a 4 star review.

I've been a member since the early days of CarShare. Having not owned a car for 20+years, I found their services a great opportunity for occasional errands and short trips. Recently I took advantage of the 10-day usage. I wanted to attend a family reunion in West Virginia but due to COVID felt uncomfortable flying and the availability of renting a car was not guaranteed. So, with a few weeks notice I secured Marvin, a Prius hybrid. What a great trip. The car rode well, got great gas mileage (not that I had to pay for it!), and whenever I had a question or concern, someone from CarShare was always available. Thank you CarShare, and my family thanks you, too.

Thanks to CarShare, my husband and I were just able to use a van to go get our son's dorm room emptied out and bring his belongings back to Burlington, then drive both his grandmothers, a family friend and her son, as well as our son up to his college one last time for his graduation! Then back to Burlington, where we returned the van, and got in a pet-friendly CarShare car to bring our dog to the vets for some shots. Being a CarShare member has enabled us to use the buses around town, and not feel like we need to rely on others for transportation to important events. It's a great program, and I am so glad to be a part of it!

I had a very good experience with Carshare VT and the only reason I ended my membership was because I moved out of the area. It was a really great alternative to owning a car and saved me a ton of money and worry. I contacted the support a few times and had no problems getting issues resolved in a timely manner. It's a really great option to supplement the public transportation available.

Carshare was an amazing experience to be apart of. I was able to get all my errands done for something that would’ve cost me double for what I paid for. It created freedom for me to explore outside of Burlington and Vermont without having to get a rental car and pay extra under 25 yr charges. I had the monthly insurance, so if anything happens, I’ll be covered, which made me feel safe. The pricing can sometimes feel expensive, but most of the time it felt reasonable. I’ve had a few hiccups with carshare in all honesty, but it was always resolved and left on a good note from both ends because they work with you (payment wise) and they’re very communicative about everything, which is something I appreciate! You guys are awesome! Ty for sharing your cars! 🫶🏾

During my 3 years with CarShare Vermont, they saved me, literally, thousands of dollars. The service ends up being, roughly, half the cost of über, and there's considerably more freedom. They're constantly adding and upgrading vehicles, including electric, which are well maintained. Services like theirs contribute to creating communities that are less congested, less polluted and more harmonious. I highly recommend CarShare Vermont. I am not a robot.

CarShare Vermont was an awesome sharing service. As someone visting Burlington from New York City during peak fall foilage, I would not have been able to drive and see the colors in the same way without a car. It was easy to register and pick up, and I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Vermont, especially if you need a car on short notice or if you come to the state regularly. Highly recommend!!
