You can tell a lot about a business by how they handle a problem. First they did a good job on the detailing, but there was a small issue. I went back and it was resolved to my satisfaction. We all make mistakes, but it’s how we handle them. They differentiates us.

My car was covered in sap from parking under my pine trees in my drive. After spending over 3 hours myself trying to remove it I decided to take it into the professionals. I cant express how satisfied I am with their amazing job they did. My car looks brand new. I am so thankful. My husband was so impressed that he took his truck in for an exterior and interior detail as well. They will be getting our repeat business. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking in the Farmington Hills area.

They did a good Job on my SUV. I did go in the afternoon still they accommodated me with out an appointment in the weekend. I appreciate. Staff are polite. Seats were very dirty. Had lot of stains. They did an awesome job removing strains from the seats. I was very Happy. Highly recommend Plymouth location.

Dropped my car off there a couple weeks ago for an exterior/interior detail. When I picked it up the car looked good inside and out but the interior had a very strong overbearing chemical smell. Hoping it would go away in a couple hours I drove off. The next day the smell was even worse, almost like a chlorine or bleach smell not a scent of cherry flavor or other pleasing smells you might expect after a detail. My husband brought it back to them the next business day and they right away acknowledged the smell but had no explanation as to why it would smell like that, or for that matter offer a fix for it. I took the car home and scrubbed all plastics in the interior including the rubber mats with soap and water and vacuumed again to no avail. I even kept all the windows down overnight in my garage for three days straight but the smell is still there. To be clear I bought this 2018 Escape brand new and it's never been smoked in or had pets inside. I'm now stuck with a strong chemical smell which I hope goes away with time or at least in the summer when I can leave the windows down more often.

I had complete detailing done recently at Carsmetology for my SUV. When I reached there in the morning I was greeted by very friendly and polite young man Alex, I purchased this service through Groupon he explained to me the whole process and about extra charge upfront for SUV having third row seat which I was aware of ahead of appointment and he also told me about whole process and time it will take, when service was done this same young man called that car is ready to be picked up and when I went to pickup my car it was done very nicely there was some touch up and vacuum to be done this young man took care of it immediately by himself with a smile on his face. I really liked the way Alex provided customer service and because of him I will come for the service again in the future, thanks Alex for taking care of your customers so nicely and in friendly way

This was my second visit but, with another vehicle to the Farmington Hills location. I called yesterday and got lucky to get an appointment to have my car detailed today. I am extremely happy, once again with my complete experience. From the initial walk around of my vehicle to the overall outcome of it...Amazing! I went in for a wash and detail I paid 120. When they were done there was bugs still on the car and they scratched the interior of my car a brand new 2023 Honda cr v I’ll never go back and will not recommend this place

Good place, and good customer service in face. However, they lacked the detailed touch and cleaning. As I inspected my car when I pick up, I saw some stains from tree rosin and ETC. They cleaned them up quickly. After I drive my car for a while, I discovered that they did not vacuum the trunk and back side under the rear window properly to see dusts and dead bodies of bugs staying still. Are those defects because I used the Groupon? I would not like to pay full price ($200+) again if they keep doing service like this. 😕 I would not fully trust their service, but I will do some more thorough inspection once I am back to them again.

Great place with great people! Ally was behind the desk and was so helpful and informative. Her positive attitude really lit up the waiting area. In the waiting area they provided snacks, fresh coffee, tea, snacks and even Netflix if you choose to wait for your car. The detailers and all other staff members were so friendly and welcoming. They walk through the waiting area very polite, greet you and are informative about the progress of your vehicle. I purchased the makeover package which included a full interior and exterior detailing where they work on your car for up to 4 hrs. I definitely recommend this! The detailers did a phenomenal job and I could tell they really took their time to make it look perfect. At the end of the service they walked with me around the car to ensure I was completely satisfied with all parts of the service I chose. I will definitely be back again!

I've been waiting a while to write this review as I wanted to wait until after my court date with Carsmetology of Farmington Hills. I took my vehicle in early April to redeem a groupon for interior and exterior detail. Before I handed my keys over, they had a preinspection sheet to cover any previous damages. They found none on my vehicle. I handed my keys to the employee and left while they worked on my car. I returned after I had got a call stating my car is complete. I drove it right home aproximately 10 minutes. My friends I had over came outside to admire my vehicle. As we walked around the vehicle, my friend, an experienced auto body tech/ lead painter, noticed a large scratch spanning the majority of the passenger side of my vehicle that had been covered up with a slightly mismatched paint pen as well as a shallow but large dent in the rear door. I immediately took pictures of this to time stamp them. I tried 4 different occasions to resolve this with Carsmetology and ended up having to take them to small claims court. They never showed up to the hearing and I won my case. The damages to my car were roughly $2,000 I included a few photos of the repair of my vehicle. The pictures I had of the damages were hard to see with the lighting and I think the pictures of the repair does more justice. The areas you see bondo/primer are where the dents where and the majority of the side of my vehicle had to be sanded down to properly blend the fresh paint. Here are some facts: -They do have paint touch up pens at their facility and offer this as an add on (of which i did not purchase) -I had to wait for them to find someone who could drive stick (pro) however the person they found i could tell wasn't familiar with driving one as when he when to move it the car lurched forward and stalled. the second attempt was successful but revved the vehicle up too high. -I was promised video footage on a USB drive I was to provide. When i provided the USB drive they told me it was against there policy. -I asked for my preinspection sheet and received another customers with damage marked on it. therefore, i had to go back again to get mine. -I was accused by an employee of Carsmetology that I look like the type of person whose looking to get free work done to their car. -I was offered one resolution by the district manager, Applying the correct paint pen to my car and blending it and they would only charge me half. I did not want to pay them any more money and it does not take care of the dent. -After I started working on my case, i went back a month later with my resolution and talked to the district manager. He told me he did not even want to hear my resolution so I told him i would have to pursue small claims. -The detail itself was subpar. Wax residue left on my car. Small scratches all over (from a dropped sponge maybe?). luckily these will polish out. -I hand wash my car every 2 to 3 days so i'm pretty familiar with any defects my car has and it did not have this many scratches before. I am a car nut and I also have a very distinct process of washing my vehicle as to not containment the water so I am quite certain these did not come from me. I want to address this, I have no issue with my vehicle being damaged as long as it is taken care of. Throughout the majority of my process of dealing with Carsmetology I maintained my composer even when being accused of trying to get free work done to my car. I also do not know if the working managers knew about this as it could have been an employee covering up his mistake. I would use caution if you are considering taking your vehicle here and if something does happen, you will probably have to fight your way through it to get a resolution. EDIT: Felt the need to update after winning my court case. Running out of Characters so ill keep it short Carsmetology never paid in set time frame determined by the ?court?. Had to file seizure of property to claim my repair money. Luckily this worked. From detail to collecting my judgement took close to a year.

Waste of 220 dollars... Interior drip marks, dirt (mud!), hair, smudges all over. Trying to mask lack of cleaning with a greasy ghetto armorall-type solution. I do not have the time or desire to have them go over it again. Save your money and go elsewhere. I do not blame the detailer since it’s up to management to certify their quality before returning a vehicle. Note: My car was not even severely dirty before their intervention.
