probably then worst experience i’ve ever had with a mechanic. i have a warranty with Carson Cars which includes a rental vehicle. my car that Carson cars sold me was undrivable within a month of driving it due to the complete lack of care of any of their vehicles on the lot. it took them an entire month to make available a rental vehicle. which was a 2000 dodge caravan, a complete embarrassment to drive around. i should’ve known all this would happen when the first car i tried test driving had a blown head gasket and blew plumes of white smoke as soon as started. the next car had a flat and the third a completely dead battery they couldn’t even jumpstart. it is now a month into them having my car in their shop. they are trying to tell me that the misfiring, the transmission slamming into gears when shifting and it being stuck in 4x4 is all due to one of the tires being the wrong size (by the way within a week of driving the tires were so old and cracked that i’ve had to replace two tires in just that time)

Wow the Auto repair shop has really made a huge improvement, the new management and service staff seem to call me even a little too much to continue to give me updates on the repair process for my car so I always knew what was going on, and they are absolutely straight shooter with the information they gave me might on what’s going on what my options are and I feel they gave me an honest appraisal for what I could do to get my car on the road and for the least amount out of my pocket. You just don’t get that anymore usually it’s always people trying to stick their hands in your pockets constantly not try to keep more in your pockets for you. Seriously just give them a try even in something small like an oil change or a tune up at first and you’ll see the difference right away between them and the next guy and you’ll be the one writing the review for them!!!

Used to be trustworthy. Took third car there in about 4 years and there's been a new service manager each time. They actually charged significantly more than it turns out the standard (no coupon or discount) prices at Acura of Lynnwood would have been for oil and transmission fluid changes. I'd Asked the price first and they balked at providing, so I trusted them based on past experience -- and ended up shocked at the bill. Then I contacted the dealer afterward just to see what their prices were and will NEVER go back to Carson. Dealer was 100+ dollars less. I can do both of these jobs myself but am very busy. I KNOW IT DOESN'T REQUIRE 2 HOURS OF LABOR TO DO THEM AND SO DOES ANYONE FAMILIAR WITH THEM. The hourly labor rate is ridiculous for this run down little shop and the mechanic stood there eyeballing me like an ex-con on meds when I asked about all of this. He and the service manager were tripping over their explanations and this was followed by that uncomfortable silence after someone lies and everyone in the room knows it. I actually checked my car to make sure they didn't steal anything afterward. AVOID THESE GUYS.

Carson's Auto repair has always done a great job for me. it's not always in the time that I want it done but it's always done proper and it's affordable. The owner himself takes vehicles for test drive to make sure they're ready to be given back to the owners. Really I don't know why they have such a low score. I've used them now for three different vehicles and I guarantee you I'll go there for 4th.

I have a 2017 Land Rover discovery sport, I used to take it to Land Rover Lynnwood but the service there isn’t great and the prices are high . I got a recommendation to go get my rover service at Carson auto repair, I have to tell you this was an amazing experience, friendly staff , very professional and the price was a third of what I payed at the dealership. Highly recommend!!!!

This place is so awful. The guys have had our car for over a month. They refuse to tell us the truth about what is going on. They have promised we would have our car several times and that was a lie. They will not answer the phone and I have told them their voicemail is full, yet they do nothing. They lie through their teeth. They told us the part that was back ordered came in, a week ago, yet we still do not have our vehicle.We had to file a complaint with the consumer protection agency and they told us we are not the first to be ignored by Carson Auto. Please spare yourself the stress.

Zach has CONSISTENTLY provided excellent help to me throughout my time with Carson cars. Hes helped me troubleshoot problems, provided helpful solutions, given advice and just had been a fantastic person to talk to in general. There have been several hiccups I've had with the dealership but their mechanic Zach has gone above and beyond for me to such an extent that he's the sole reason why this review was 5 stars. My daughter got a car from Carson that needed brake repair. They picked the car up and towed it to their repair facility. They honored the 90 day warranty and the total charge to my daughter was $1.00. Impressive! The Carson family was never rude. Totally attentive when I called. They care. Honorable people. If I could give them 10 stars I would. Robert and Mike at Carson auto-repair are of the kindness people that I've met in a while. These guys are truly a God sent! When I was having a major issue with my car and I couldn't afford to pay for a timing chain these guys understood my situation and they worked with me. I literally could not thank them enough. I'm a single mother of two kids and i'm also a student, so a timing chain repair was not in the budget. I had also been to other car repair shops and spent money that I could not afford and the problem was still not fixed. These guys fixed my car so quick, and I haven't had an issue since!

I purchased a Ford Exploer from Carsons Cars I loved. Not long after purchase I was having an issue with the brakes. Grinding noise and loud screech. I called up Carsons Cars they said bring it to the shop. They got me in immediately and my car was repaired within 2 days. I am happy to say is running great and I appreciate the staff here who made sure my car was running properly and safely! It's a real peace of mind knowing they stand behind the cars they sell!

Terrible customer service. Bought a vehicle from them and never again will I have them service my vehicle. 1. Stripped my lug nuts. 2. Never fixed my belt that’s still squeaking. 3!!! Never tighten my lug nuts fully either!!! Terrible people and the two people in the front office of auto repair need a new job!

I would strongly caution anyone considering Carson Auto for service, especially when insurance or documentation is involved. What should have been a straightforward insurance review turned into over a month of delays because Carson Auto repeatedly failed to provide standard documentation requested by the insurance company, including a formal diagnostic report. During that time, I was repeatedly told the documents had already been sent, when they had not. Once the insurance company actually received the required documentation, they reviewed it within one to two days, making it clear that the delay was not on the insurer’s end, despite Carson Auto repeatedly claiming otherwise. I made multiple requests to be copied on communications or to have documents sent directly to me so I could verify what had been provided. Those requests were ignored. Instead of resolving the documentation issue, I received pressure to return a loaner vehicle while the claim was still pending—even though the delay was caused by Carson Auto. I later brought a different vehicle to Carson Auto for a check engine light. While they performed an oil change at no charge, the same warning light returned a week later, reinforcing my lack of confidence in their follow-through. Across multiple interactions, the customer service—particularly when speaking with Curtis—was consistently poor and unprofessional. Based on repeated issues with communication, documentation, and accountability, I would not recommend Carson Auto for service.

Well let's see when I first went in with check 4x4 light and wrench on. I specifically told them it's either moisture in wiring leading to or from or in the 4x4 switch itself. And since I purchased from Carson cars I had higher expectations. For the next almost 3 weeks it was in the shop a week out a day etc. Claiming to have checked all fluids and thoroughly inspected and can not find a cause. Assuming it's just a touchy system and I was guaranteed good to go to Florida for a vacation for the next few months. Well by the time I made it to California the 4x4 switch fell out into my hand. So obviously it was not inspected as they had said or they would have noticed and fixed it instead of only clearing the error lights. My check engine light is also on repair said it's just cause 4x4 can no longer go off. My fuel door light is on. My trans oil temp is 190 instead of 270 and my truck is now ticking or pinging. I really hope they checked fluids as they claimed. My first payment is due tomorrow on a 17,000.00 loan this kind of pisses me off I've driven less then the repair shop did burning over a hundred miles while in their possession. Now they guaranteed my extended coverage will cover all of these issues they will handle it if I have any problems. I hope they are correct and do so I will update my review after that. And yes Carson cars handled these issues being under the thirty day warranty they give all buyers on all cars, though they also claim free transpo while being fixed this amenity was not offered to me at anytime but I was given a ride from one of the salesmen and my car was brought to me
