I was in a car accident and sent my car over to CARSTAR. Wow they did an amazing job! Looks good as new, the repairs did not take long at all super fast, and good communication. Overall very happy with CARSTAR. Update 2022: My car is experiencing problems from the side that was involved in the accident and was not fixed correctly at all. I would come here with caution. Used parts were placed on my car and the right interior is experiencing issues that shouldn’t be for a recent repair job.

The team at this shop did an absolutely amazing job — the truck looks brand new again! From start to finish, their customer service was top-notch. They were professional, super detailed, and kept me in the loop throughout the entire process. You can tell they really take pride in their work. My rating is based off my experience, which maybe unique because my car was hit while it was parked. I went through the insurance company of the party that hit me and never got my insurance involved. The customer service is great, every time you call someone will answer and if it’s Ashley ( I believe that is her name) she will address your questions and call you back if needed. They are a preferred vendor of the insurance company, so it appears they do what the insurance allows. The initial estimate with them was higher than the final invoice. I thought maybe it was discounted through the insurance company. However when looking at the work, after they replaced the bumper and front right fender I noticed it was loose. They rep assisting me said that bumpers need to have some “give”. As soon as I left I drove from home to the South Bay and back and clips had fallen out and my bumper was hitting parts of the road that it shouldn’t. When I went back they assumed it was the side they didn’t fix but that side was working just fine. It was in fact the right fender that they replaced. Essentially if it wasn’t one thing it was something else. I ended up having to take time from work and go back on 3 separate occasions to get things fixed or corrected. After that I had the brackets that hold my bumper up fall out again on the side that was “fixed”. I ended up paying out of pocket and took my car to another shop and let stated the parts used were not ideal (poor quality) and likely saved them / insurance company some money. On top of that the constant need to take time off work to return to this shop for them to correct installation issues that don’t involve the quality of parts. It may be my fault for not getting my insurance to advocate on my behalf with the shop or the insurance company paying bill. So wanted to let others know if your insurance or another insurance is fitting the bill, ensure that the parts and work are properly done. Because even with a guarantee that they’ll fix the work. Most people don’t have the time to go back n forth for correcting things that should have been completed the first or even the second time. Two stars are given mainly due to the fact that the lady at the front desk always answered the phone and had great communication. Even let me know that the car was done early and I was out of town helping a loved one with a medical situation, she let me know they would hold the car over the weekend. Although I did call the insurance company to confirm that I wouldn’t be charged a storage fee by them or the shop because I would be a day late picking up my car.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ TODAY, morning, I had an excellent experience at Carstar! I ordered a replacement windshield trim for my Mini Cooper, and they handled it perfectly. The team quickly removed the broken part, installed the new one, adding their own plastic pin, and had everything done in just 5 minutes. No waiting, no hesitation, and to my surprise—no charge! Their customer service is outstanding—friendly, efficient, and professional. It’s rare to find a place that delivers this level of service. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be coming back soon to have them check my trunk door.
