No one likes to get repairs done after a fender bender, CARSTAR made the experience as painless as possible. The estimate appointment took less than 15 minutes and they offered to call the car rental agency to pick me up when I had the repairs done, and to let me drop off the rental with them too. They had the parts on time, called me to tell me the car was ready on time, sent all the paperwork to my insurance company for me. Great service, did everything they promised, made the process quick and simple for me. I would use CARSTAR again and highly recommend them.

My initial estimate, which, I realize without tearing into the car (is hard) was way low! After 24 hours, I was told…estimate had almost doubled and my car was a total loss! That said as FYI, then…I ‘felt’ we were dismissed rather rudely by phone. I wasn’t going to have questions or concerns addressed. Had we gone through with the repairs, I have no doubt Car Star would have been 5 stars and thusly my 5 star rating. They are extremely busy…no doubt they do nice work. I would recommend them just on my initial experience, not my second.

Carstar Simi Valley restored my car to its former glory before I got rear ended on the 405 in my brand new 2023 4Runner with not even 15,000 miles on it. I was super bummed when the accident happened, and I am very picky with the mechanics and shops I use for servicing my vehicle so when I met Lance and I could tell this shop was a solid 10/10, it put my worries at ease and I could tell I was going to be in good hands. Even when my insurance company was giving them a hard time, Lance and Karina still tried their best to make this a great experience for me and returned my vehicle in stellar shape. I could not have a single complaint with the service I received at this shop. I will be recommending to everyone I know! Great shop! There was some miscommunication between them and insurance, but I called, and they diligently answered all my questions! The front desk girl was super friendly, and all the mechanics I spoke to were so nice and diligent. If I didn't understand the price or repair they would explain it to me. I went through insurance, and I don't know much about average cost, so I can't speak on that, but in terms of quality and customer service, 10/10. I am definitely going to look at them first moving forward when comparing prices because the quality of their work is there! I got my car back cleaner than I left it! And again so nice! I know nothing about cars and even forgot to give them my wheel lock. I called a bunch of times with questions and forgot things. They answered everything clearly and didn't get frustrated with me! As a younger woman who recently moved to Cali from the Midwest with this being my first car was a huge comfort! Especially since I can't work without my car.
