Finally found someone who was successful in alignment my Suburban front tires! Took it to three other shops, including a dealer, without success.

Took my crossover to another franchise automotive shop in town, told them about the issue I was experiencing, and they said they couldn't replicate it, so there was nothing they could do. Cartec figured it out in ONE visit and with a standard oil change, they fixed my car. And it only took half a day. It has been driving better than when I first bought it. I randomly found them on Google, but it was one of the best decisions. Customer service is fantastic. I would definitely recommend as it is in a convenient part of Midtown as well.

I have used Cartec for years on my used Chevy Suburbans. In 2021 I bought 2019 Honda HRV. I used Don Carlton Honda for maintenance. I had some rodent and water damage and I had Don Carlton fix it. My front windshield washer pump quit working. I took it to Honda. They told me 195.00 diagnose it. Then said it's 300 to go to second level diagnostic, then told me the wiring harness would have to be replaced for 5000.00 and then they could work on the water damage. I declined and took it to Cartec. Their initial diagnostic was 195.00, then they said second level was going to be 900.00. I said go ahead. They traced the problem back to water damage to the under dash fuse block. The tech switched the wires the front pump works and the rear pump doesn't. That works fine for me. Then, instead of billing me the 900.00 they quoted, they billed me 600.00. I came away happy. They will get me a quote on replacing the fuse block.

I can't say enough good things about Cartec Automotive Services in Tulsa! From the moment I walked in, I felt taken care of—not just as a customer, but as a person. What truly made the experience exceptional was Linda. She went above and beyond to make me and my kids feel comfortable and welcomed. Linda was patient, kind, and genuinely caring. She made sure I understood what was going on with my vehicle and never once made me feel rushed or overwhelmed. Even my kids were at ease, which is saying a lot during an auto shop visit! Her warmth and professionalism turned what could have been a stressful day into something unexpectedly pleasant. If you're looking for honest, dependable service with a personal touch, I highly recommend Cartec—and especially Linda. She's a gem!

Live in Missouri and called them when my brake lights came on while I was in Tulsa. He told me to come in and they would look at it. Took the time to see what was wrong with my truck. Was able to get it back home safely.

WoW !! So many 5 star ratings….one could be confused or misled by all of them. First. Three (3) days prior to going to CarTec(CT) Tulsa for the first time, I went to batteries-R-us (or similar) and had the 12V battery replaced. Installation was free. First thing CarTec did was call me to let me know the battery had a dead cell and they would be pleased to run the warranty on it for me and they could replace with an identical one. I said okay. Immediately after I said “yes” I was told there was a $137.00 charge to replace the battery - when batteries-R-us did it for “free”. What was I supposed to do ?!? Run up to CarTec jump my car with a dead battery go to the battery place and then come back to CT. Or let them “replace” the battery. I don’t even know if it was replaced but I sure got charged for it. Second. I gave a description of what I thought was broken A/C knob as it continually spun with no stopping point. As this is a new vehicle to me I didn’t know how it operated. Apparently, what I thought was broken - was not broken. And while yes, I did make mention about lighted numbers associated with this knob didn’t display correctly the numbers were not of real concern. I requested the knob to be fixed. Not anything else. However - my main complaint - and it was stressed to CT I was concerned about the knob turning with no stop Instead of contacting me and letting me know about my misunderstanding of the function of the knob - with no stop and continually spinning - the part was replaced - again at an outrageous cost. Can’t tell you why they didn’t contact me. Well I lied. I can tell you why they didn’t call me - they knew if they did I might have not had them replace a knob and everything it controlled. It worked like it should have - from the beginning. And no one told me. ignorance is my fault - that’s on me for not investigating. Not communicating to customers so they can make wise decisions on the work which will be done is on CT. I feel deceived and taken advantage of by the prices for this work where I don’t even know if the parts were changed. Yep. I should have asked for all the old parts Anyway, I trusted more than I should have. Never again CT. Never again. Oh. One good thing. And the only for me - free Ubers - maybe. At least they say they are free - but $137 to replace a battery I bet them Ubers are built into the cost of service.

I called and spoke to a lady on the phone, told her I had a coolant leak! She said they can get it in and work on it that day! Which was perfect because I needed it back asap. I explained to them that I was unsure of my cars hardtop and the rainy weather. They assured me my vehicle would be parked inside. Sweet! I was told several times they would call me and explain everything that's going on. No attempt to contact me was made, and conveniently when I called them, the person I needed to speak to was always outside or had just left. Every 👏🏼 time 👏🏼 I 👏🏼 called 👏🏼 They determined the leak was coming from my thermostat and quoted me a $700 job to replace it and the coolant. Which I could understand if it was a German made car and you had to take the entire engine apart to access it. Guys, this was on a Miata. It is immediately accessible on the front of the engine held by a nut and a bolt. After hearing the price I had to pay for an $11 part to be installed.. (thanks AutoZone) I decided to do it myself. 10 minutes later, I had installed my new thermostat! After doing so, I noticed a pinhole in my coolant overflow line. HEY! There's my leak. After spending $4 on a new hose (again thanks #notsponsored AutoZone) my leak was fixed. This took me, a guy who's definitely not a mechanic, 20 minutes to find and $15 fix. I had to pay them for a $113 diag. Said they "let it run to watch for leaks" What they meant was: my car got up and ran out of their shop as they watched the rain leak in the top while they were ripping off more folks. This made me sick. "Uhhh what we meant was uhh, we pull it in at night so it doesn't get rained on while we aren't watching it" 🤦🏽♂️ Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. I went on to speak to the manager, who I guess is Linda, about my experience. I explained to her my point of view only to be met with a supremely combative attitude. She was helpful enough to explain to me what my expectations should've been.. to which I explained to her the promises I was told by her staff. To which she explained to me what my "realistic" expectations should've been. And really I guess that's on me for.. expecting my vehicle to be immediately worked on as I was told, and parked out of the rain as I was told. Misdiagnosed, over priced, over promised, and under delivered. ❌ DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE ❌

I brought my 1970 Mach1 into Cartec. I was smelling gas. Dave ( one of the technicians) found the leak and fixed it very quickly. I could not have been more pleased with the professional and friendly service I received. I would recommend them to anyone.

This is day 3 of them having my daughters car, didn't get to it the first day, second day we were told it was ready after having only a brake switch replaced, went to pick it up and as we tried to leave their parking lot we were unable to shift the car out of park (the original problem we took it in for). Dave the mechanic asked us to leave it overnight and he would get it back in the shop first thing in the morning. It's now noon so I called for an update and the rude woman who answered the phone tells me to call back at 230 to talk to "Steve" because it still hasn't been put back into the shop and she doesn't know what is going on with the car...so they close at 530...we most likely won't have our car back today either. How does this shop expect to keep someone's vehicle for 3-4 days for a simple repair and not see it important to keep the customer updated on its progress until the last minute of their business day... and if you take your car, you lose your spot in the queue for repair. We are very deeply disappointed and frustrated with their customer service and auto repair. PS we've already paid for the repair and it's still not a priority for them.

I received a text from Linda to remind me I needed an oil change and while having that done, they also checked my brakes to confirm they were in great condition. Excellent service, always quick and reliable. I’ve gone there for years and will continue to do.

Cartec @ 41st has a friendly staff with a beautiful waiting area (they have a massage chair) and their prices are extremely competitive. Check their website out and you can usually find specials on oil changes, etc.

I came in thinking my struts were bad. My car was making a clanking noise. I spoke to Josh over the phone and he provided me with services. I asked if I could stay and wait, they prefer dropping the car by and you leaving they offer services like Uber/lyft to take you back home for free. They also let me know that they were happy to have my company, offered me soda for my wait and reassured me when I was down. I had gone on here thinking my struts were bad, David has checked my car out and my sway bar had actually snapped. He showed me everything and even let me see what had happened. He fixed it for free because I came on thinking I would have a financing option. Thank you to David, Josh and there team for fixing my car and allowing me to drive safe with no fees attached. I will definitely be back here.

This place is great if you have no conceptual idea for anything that has to do with car repair. I recommend you call around. For rotors and pads on my 2014 Sedan, they wanted $1900, then next highest I could find was $980. When I declined their service and picked up my car. All the bolts on my calipers are tightened to all hell so much so that the next mechanic to look at my car told me it would need more work to get them off and then replaced. These conceited crooks are charging double what others do and even their "free" checkup will leave you in worse shape than when you came in. This company is really good at making sure you HAVE to come back to them so they can gouge your wallet. Also, I encourage everyone to go back through the reviews and read the responses from CarTec, I find it completely unprofessional that the most concise response has essentially been "nuh huh". Another reason to not bring your vehicle here. The guy who checked me in was nice but one person being nice doesn't make up for the overcharging, the pettiness, and the downright unprofessionalism of this establishment

Got my car back the same day after even telling me I may need to leave it over night ! , very friendly staff and people. They went above and beyond to explain exactly what I was paying for, me not being a car person this was very helpful. I defiantly felt I got quality service and will be recommending Cartec to all my friends and family.
