I couldn't imagine a worse experience. From the beginning to end. Walked in (during normal hours after calling) and I felt like I was an inconvenience. They felt like they had to tell me "we don't take appointments during lunch". Someone finally rogered up to help me. After that I called multiple times over the next few days to get a status. Every time I called it took talking to 2 people that had no clue what to do. I was told at least 4 times that I would get a call back later with an update and never once got a call. I finally found out the status of my vehicle through an email from Carfax stating that my car's inspection was done. I was without my car unnecessarily for 2 days because of their terrible communication. Next time I need VW service I'll drive across town to go anywhere but here.

We had a very frustrating experience. I scheduled an appointment to make sure that I could be in and out in time to get my kids from school (my husband is in the military and was getting ready to leave for an underway). We live 30 minutes away and I get there and they tell me I will not be out in time (apparently they’ve had issues with the scheduling department scheduling this recall incorrectly). I made arrangements to come pick the car up later and then get a call that afternoon to tell me that they ordered the wrong parts for my car and it will be in later in the week but they do not have a rental car available for me. Fast forward to the end of the week on the promised day and it was not completed. Every step of the process was a nightmare and very stressful during an already stressful time with my husband preparing/leaving for an underway and me trying to get this done without relying on his help.

Simply a horrible experience and one I won’t repeat. Casey VW my car for more than a week to do recalls. They set the appointment. They specified the time. But they never did the work. After renting a car for multiple days while we waited (for more than a week) I called repeatedly and the contact person refused to take my call. Then we find out that they didn’t even have a tech on site who could do the recalls. If we had not called and called, they would still have the car “waiting for an update from service”. . Just horrible communications and service. And the recalls are still not done. Ridiculous.

I had a flat and took my truck to get a new tire, Mrs.Tish was great. She told me it would be taken care of and it was within 2.5 hours with no appointment. After it was complete, she told me there was a large piece of metal in the tire but I had a new one put on. On yesterday I got a oil change and tire rotation and it was done within 1.5 hours with Dean. Overall great service from them both!

I don't even know where to start. Dropped my car off at 9:45 a.m for a 10:00 a.m appointment. Hadn't heard anything by 12:30. Only for me to show up at 1:30 they were just pulling my car in. They said they didn't find anything wrong with my car which is a lie because my car still not starting correctly. I told them to go ahead and just do the oil change I don't leave out until 3:30 p.m. I over heard another service guy tell his customer they were going to shuttle him home to Williamsburg, when I asked about a rental they said they didn't have any.. I sure wished I had been about a shuttle;((. They didn't even put my next oil change sticker in my car so how I suppose to know when my next oil change. Guess I need to start going back to Chesapeake

We normally go to Checkered Flag VW or Southern VW, but I ended up here with this location being closer to me. With that being said, I do not regret choosing this facility one bit and I will be back again (hopefully just for routine maintenance). The service department here is A1, especially Mr. Evan. This is probably the most efficient, thorough, and transparent service department that I have worked with, and the whole process of checking in and picking up my car was with ease. A shuttle was even provided for us to go home or where ever we needed to, free of charge, so you can do drop off and ride one of those or wait. Evan was prompt when updating me about the services being done to my vehicle, he included prices, and made sure to check what was covered under warranty as well. The most upfront service department I have been to. No back and forth between the parts and service department, no waiting for an answer, and no day wasted. I would definitely recommend this facility over the others!! Thank you Casey VW! (:

I will never in my life use Casey again. The experience was absolutely horrible. My vehicle needed a timing chain replaced, we towed it in to have it diagnosed which they did on the 1st of December. We were given a price, great. We approved it, great. A 9 1/2 hour job took over 3 weeks to finish with excuse after excuse given. We were told several times your vehicle will be ready to no avail time after time. When we approved the work all parts were in stock so no ordering was needed. We asked for a loaner, they did not have any until we talked to GM who found one for us. There was no phone calls from the shop unless we called, no follow up from anyone. We were told tech went home sick but then told no he wasn’t sick he had an apt fire. Finally got car back and while it does run like new the lying and constant lack of communication will keep me from ever using them again for anything. Absolute garbage do not bring your vehicle or money here for any reason.

The staff was respectful and attentive with most things, however, I was told my routine oil change would be 2 hours (with a. Appointment ) and I never heard my car was finished until I went in there 4 hours later to pay and found it sitting in the parking lot. Secondly, after driving my car for a week afterwards, the change oil notification is still coming on; very disappointed.

Was visiting my daughter in Hampton & my battery died. When I called (on a Saturday), I was told they couldn't take me. I was annoyed because I didn't want to stay until Monday. Decided to get a jump and drive there anyway. The techs were nice and helpful. They tested the battery. Evan Benedict was super helpful. He offered me water (it was hot & I was sweating) and said he could squeeze me. I was elated. While waiting, another guy (sales) was very nice so offered me water as well. All the staff I encountered during my visit were courteous and professional. Got my car in less that an hour. Fantastic experience. I would recommend.

The amount they charge for labor is very high. Paid almost $1.000 for that alone. Was there almost 5 hours with 1hour + waiting for some part to arrive. I have heard to not service a car at a dealer. Was there for a State Inspection, oil change and tire rotation. Was told I needed 3 more services to pass inspection. Agreed to have it done. Will go to a reliable mechanic next time, as recommended by a friend.

It was directed towards the procedure they had to follow. I have recently been back to service and the technician went with me for a ride and explained that the problems I have wasn't caused by them or VW.
