Here's what happened. I was quoted a price, and it was a good amount of money. As they were doing the work, they found the problem would not require the part that was very expensive. They called me and told me that they found the problem and cancelled the order for the expensive part. I will recommend Catherine's Auto Repair to friends and family from here on out. These are honest people who aren't trying to make money off of you. Honesty goes a long way in my book, and I appreciate it greatly. Not looking forward to any more car troubles, but I am looking forward to working with Catherine's again soon.

Taking my car to Catherine's Auto is the best decision I have ever made. Each time I take my car for a repair, I never have to worry about them finding hundreds of dollars in additional repairs, which has been my experience in the past. They do a thorough diagnostic exam and let me know what other issues I have, but, they in no way make me feel if I don't get the hundreds of dollars in repair, that my car will break down and leave me stranded on the side of the road. The Manager or Technician always make sure I have a complete understanding of the services I am receiving and don't make me feel silly for asking questions. Everyone greets you with a smile and even if you don't get the services that are recommended, they don’t respond is anger or dismay. Good customer service means having thorough knowledge of your inventory, experience with your products, and being able to help customers make the best choices for them. ... Good customer service is treating customers with a friendly, helpful attitude. This definition describes Catherine's Auto Repair Staff perfectly. I highly recommend Catherine's Auto to everyone I know, when they ask about car repairs. Every car I own will always be repaired by Catherine's Auto. It's a great feeling to be able to take my car to an Auto Repair Shop and not feel that I am being taken advantage of just because I am a female.

Second time going here, I was referred by a family who has been going here for years. I went to pep boys first to get a break inspection and of course, they tried to get me to replace everything for over $1500. I declined and brought my new accord to Catherine’s, turns out I don’t need half of that and I’m paying below $500. They are awesome, nice, and understand the money situation if you’re right on money. I’ve been looking for a new mechanic since moving from Buford, and this is the place!!!!

I could not have better things to say about Catherine’s Auto Repair. The service is fast, painless and very transparent. Everything was explained clearly to me (someone with no car knowledge) and they recommended the best options for me and saved me over $2000 compared to a recommendation from a nearby shop. Honestly, this is the first experience at an auto shop where I didn’t feel like I was being taken advantage of for my lack of auto knowledge. I will no longer take my car anywhere else and have already recommended to all my friends in the area.

Easy in and out with key drop & appointments. Quality service and good value. Suggestions for management... Consider improving the parking area soon. You almost need an SUV to navigate the standing water and potholes. Not easy to see the actual exit on your way out. Nothing fancy needed... just dump some more gravel around. That would help.

Can not recommend them highly enough. I have been a happy and loyal customer at Catherine's for probably 4+ years now. They are trustworthy, kind and efficient. Every time I bring my car in for any little fix, they do a great check-up on the car to let me know what's needed long term beyond my ask, but they also understand my wallet and help me prioritize my car maintenance items.

I've been using Catherine's ever since I moved to Atlanta and they've been nothing but amazing with the work they do and the service they provide. Whether it is just scheduled maintenance, service check-ups before big road trips, or recent car emergencies, they've always been reliable and informative about what's going on with my car and what they're doing to make sure it keeps running. They also have their customer's best interest in mind when it comes to things like the cost of repairs and locating the source of any issue so they know what needs fixing. I cannot recommend them enough.

I used to go to my dealership for maintenance and I’m never going back. Catherine’s provided maintenance at a reasonable and transparent rate and even provided very candid advice about the long term maintenance of my pretty old vehicle. Whereas the dealer mechanic tried to sell me on repairs worth 1.5x the trade-in value of the car itself, Catherine’s (against their best interest in terms of getting my sign off on expensive repairs) was honest with me of the costs and of the fact that these one-off largest fixes will likely keep coming for an older car. They helped walk me through the trade offs of continuing to repair the old car vs considering getting or leasing a new one, and allowed me to confidently make the best decision for myself. Would highly recommend their service and their people!

I have never in my life even considering giving a mechanic a 5 star review, but Catherine's Auto Repair deserves it! Geornette was my point of contact and went above and beyond by giving me timely updates and working with my hectic schedule. She ran me through everything wrong with my beloved car in a way that I could understand without talking down to someone who doesn't know much about cars, and was always so kind. I dropped off my car alone in my flight attendant uniform, and let's be honest- a lot of mechanics would have taken advantage of that. But the price Catherine's charged me was unbelievably reasonable for parts and labor. I have been searching for a reasonably priced mechanic that I can trust since I started driving, and I FINALLY found them.

I have been using Catherine's for 10+ years for my Chevy. They do great work at a reasonable price, and everything is always clearly explained by Geornette. I know enough about cars to know that Geornette knows way more than I do, and she has a great way of explaining everything in plain English so I understand the work that needs to be done, the steps they want to take, and the expected cost. I find them to be quite conservative in recommending work as well. The technician produces a great report each time, but unless something really needs repairs, it's not flagged as an issue (unlike other places I've been where every little thing becomes a recommended repair, which inflates the bill). I recently added a car to my fleet and tried to take it to a Mercedes specialist - big mistake. The repair estimate was over $1k for work that had already been done (that other garage wanted to redo it just in case it was done wrong the first time - seriously). I called Geornette and she got me in right away, listened to my concerns, and their team started diagnostics where the seller's garage had left off. They found a wiring issue that was much easier and less expensive to replace than the repairs suggested by the other shop. They are my heroes! Now I have two cars that I'll be taking here.

I have been taking both of our Mercedes to Catherine's for 4+ years and I am extremely satisfied with the services they provide. The staff is friendly, professional, and honest. They explain all of the services needed, options and costs. My cars have always been serviced quickly and at a competitive price. The quality of work is exceptional - I have never had to bring a car back for a 'follow-up' repair. I highly recommend this shop to anyone needing automotive repair services. They consistently provide excellent on time service at a reasonable price.

Excellent customer service and repair. They actually go above and beyond. They were working on an issue with my vehicle that ended up taking longer than expected. I anticipated getting my car back sooner because I had a court date coming up and it was already difficult getting around. When I told them about my court date they loaned me a spare vehicle they had at no additional charge!! What a blessing!! They even told me not to worry about putting gas back into the vehicle, but just leave enough to where they can get it to the gas station. I'm all the way sold. They've got my business for as long as I'm here in Atlanta.

Had a bad starter on my 2014 Dodge Journey. Had it towed in the night before. They suggested varios maintenance repairs in writing with photos since it just crossed over 100,000 miles. It was like a menu at a upscale hotel. I picked what i thought was needed since I've owned the SUV since it was a PUP. Got it back by NOON. The owner Catherine turned to be exactly what I imagined. A compassionate woman in a man's world, trying twice a hard to improve an old business, making it a more fair place to do business. Thank you
