My first time dealing with Central was pretty much perfect. Needed to get my brakes fixed as I knowingly waited a bit too long (I like to get every last little bit out of brakes and tires, which isn't super smart), but I was alerted by the newly squeaking brakes just last night that I couldn't wait anymore. I figure I lucked out today and was able to bring it in immediately and get the work done in one day. They pointed out some things I needed to know without any kind of up-selling. It seems a bit remarkable that without prior notice, they can inspect, fill out a report with pictures, get the parts, do the work to completion, and seemingly not cut any corners (that probably wouldn't work out well for reputable mechanics), and get me out the door so I wouldn't miss the next day of work. They stayed a bit later than closing to get it done, no complaints on their part, nor mine. I'll be back for some of that other needed work very soon.

By far the best auto service I have ever received. I don't know much about cars and they did not take advantage of that at all (most of the autoshops I've been to in the past have). I like their process of listing everything out along with recommendations and categorizing what needs to be taken care of right away, what should be monitored, and what could wait until later. They were super friendly, and patient with my five million phone calls and questions. They also repaired my car super quick - I had it towed there mid-day Monday and it was fixed Thursday afternoon! Will definitely be returning to them if my car needs servicing in the future!

Matt and the team here are the best - I could not recommend them more highly. They are honest, fair, on-time, and super communicative. They do automated texts, which makes it easy to keep up with the service, and Matt is great at explaining any issues + recommending solutions. It's not often that you walk out of an auto shop feeling like it was actually a pleasant experience! But Matt at Central Automotive made it a great experience for me as a new customer. I’ve been bringing my 2005 diesel pick up here since I bought it new. Matt and Israel are the greatest-they listen, they answer your questions, and they provide full service for all my vehicle needs. I came to Central Automotive last year when my car had some issues shifting gears. I had an extended service contract that I'd never used before but Israel and Matt helped me through the process. They were amazing, really advocating for me with the service contract company to get me the best coverage, and my car came back running really well. I came back for a 60k service last week, and they identified the source of some issues I had noticed with the car. They once again advocated for me with the extended service contract company and did all the legwork to get me the best coverage. I appreciate that they go the extra mile to take care of customers, even giving me a ride to the BART Station when I drop my car off, and picking me up when my car is ready. Definitely planning to keep coming to Central Automotive from now on for any service and repairs.

Was referred to this shop and initially spoke with Matt, and later worked with Israel. I had a unique request but the work was simple. What stood out to me was that I was ready to spend additional hundreds of dollars replacing a part on my car that the dealer said I needed, but was told to wait and explained why I may not need it and sure enough they were right. Saved me a nice chunk of cash not replacing a part I thought needed to be replaced.

The best shop around. Matt is always honest and up front with you, Isreal too. They do a full inspection first and send you a detailed report, with pictures. Then they tell you exactly what's wrong with your car and what needs to be done to fix it right. I've never had a bad experience here and I've been a customer for many years. They actually have the best interest of the customer in mind and don't cut corners or sell you used parts, unlike any other mechanic I've ever used. I won't take my car anywhere else. If you want it done right, give them a call. 5 stars!

Central Automotive Is Located At 1425 Auto Center Drive In Walnut Creek California. The Shop set to your left between other shops on Auto Center Drive. You'll see their sign on the building. This was my first time bringing my vehicle to this Service Center, Matt Was Very Knowledgeable, and Very Considerate. He even offered me water because the weather was pretty warm outside.He explained what the process would be servicing my Vehicle and what the estimated cost would be. He let me know that they would send me texted messages keeping me informed should they find anything that needed to be addressed. After my car was serviced he showed me the print out of what was done and what could possibly be needed in the future. If it didn't need Attention right then He let me know. Thank the Lord that there are still honest Service Centers out there. God willing if you are looking for honest and reliable Mechanics to service your vehicle, This Place is it. No Hype!
