This company and people are amazing. After reading their good reviews, we contacted them to move a wide assortment of large and small items across country. They answered all my questions patiently and listened to my concerns. We brought them several containers full of pottery, books, figures, pictures, and large items. These were all packed with the utmost care, each individually wrapped and fitted safely like a puzzle into 7 boxes protected by one crate. Everything arrived perfectly!

I am moving across the country and have to ship a gaming PC that I absolutely love. I do not have the funds to replace this PC if something were to happen with it. I have been stressed about the whole thing for weeks. Called some other places and then called this one and talked to a company representative who I later in the call found out was the owner of the company. His name is Dave. From what I could gather this is a local family owned business. Dave just spent the last 30 minutes answering every annoying nitpicking question down to the fine details that my anxiety ridden brain could come up with. Even if those answers and best options for my situation were not in the highest interest of his business. Very refreshing compared to other places I talked to. If you are worried about moving something valuable or fragile or special to you, CALL THIS PLACE on your list of options. I highly doubt you will be disappointed.

I have used Certified several times, and I want to like these guys. However, I've learned--through the destruction in transit of a $4000 tool--that they are prone to costly mistakes, have no quality assurance, and abdicate responsibility for the cost of mistakes.
I contracted with Mr. Slavens to build a crate with foam-in-place cushioning, a very standard job. Upon receipt by my customer, the crate was found to contain NO cushioning around the merchandise, just some loose pieces of styrofoam, with the merchandise free to bounce around inside the crate! To me, this speaks for itself: foam-in-place was not done, and the crate was released to the shipper with the merchandise unsecured inside. Certified preferred an alternative view (that the foam had been removed by customs inspectors), but their ONLY defense of their workmanship--i.e., that the foam-in-place had actually been done against evidence to the contrary--was Mr. Slavens' recollection that the responsible employee (no longer with the company) had ordered foam-in-place chemicals the day they packed the crate. No photos, no inspection process, nothing. As for compensation, well, he offered free packing the next time I need something done. I'm sorry, but this is cause to part ways. Certified needs to demonstrate quality assurance that is commensurate with expectations if they want to be trusted with valuable merchandise.

Excellent packaging work. The unit was properly disassembled, protected and blocked in place. All load spots were protected with foam and double strapped to prevent movement. We shipped all over the country with multiple vendors and this was probably the best packaging job I have ever seen.
