I took my car to Champs because as soon as I would drive 40 miles per hour the car would start making a very loud noise and I could feel the car shaking under the driver's side. They told me I needed a catalytic converter and an exhaust flex pipe. I agreed to leave me car for repairs. Well when I picked up the car and started to drive it my car was still making the same noise and shaking. Therefore, I went to get my Son because he knows about the problem I was having. We went back to Champs and told them they did not fix my car. The manager wanted me to leave the car so that they could look at it again and he also said they could hear a ticking sound which could mean a wheel bearing problem. My Son and I could not hear that noise. I told him NO I was not bringing my car back to them. I feel that they took advantage of me because I am a 79 year old female. I could throw in the race issue but for now I will not.

I don't think Ive ever had better customer service. I dropped my car off for 4 issues and it was ready the same day. Sam worked with my vehicle service contract provider and made sure that I was covered for no deductible. This place is definitely worth your time

I had drove past this place on my way to another shop, the shop I had gone to refused to work with me or take my truck after they looked at it real fast. I was on my way home when I noticed Champs was right down the street from my house. I decided to give them a shot, and boy was I right to do so. Sam treated me like I was family, helped me out to get the work done to my truck. The mechanic even went as far to clean out the engine bay of all the cobwebs and what not at no extra charge. I will be bringing all my vehichles to get worked on by Sam and his guys. You won't be disappointed!

So I was experiencing hearing loud noise with my suv, and this location was recommended through my warranty company, Listen like over exaggeration I called and spoke with Sam and I explained what I was hearing and if they were busy. He told me the turn over time and he could check out what the problem could possibly be but it would be better if he and the guys could actually look at the problem I literally got dressed and came in and he looked at my car and told me right away what the problem was and what the price would be. His service was great,how he treated me upon arrival was ๐๐โบ๏ธ, service time was 4/5 hours. So I was expecting the worst and everything turned turned out ok. So thank you guys so much and I appreciate your services and I have found a new mechanic shop that is TRUSTWORTHY,HONEST AND DEPENDABLE. Thank you thank youuu!!!!!

Champs Auto on Gratiot is beyond Great. I had a peak problem with a 2004 Jeep. Before I was referred to Champs, I doesn't over $1000 with other mechanics that ripped me off. I was referred to Champs. The owners were great. They dismantled my Jeep to find the "recall" problem. Jeep should have recalled all Jeeps from 1990's until 2015. Jeep Corp legal personally informed me that they knew of the problem for years. It was the jeep would CUT OFF while driving. Yes while driving!! Many accidents have been caused by this factory defect. Deaths had occurred. Jeep Corp told me it was easier to "pay individual claims" that were PROVEN than do a recall. Such a recall for all Jeeps since 1990s or before would BANKRUPT the company. Yes, that is want I was told. The Jeep Computer would NOT record any sensor failure. Therefore, the proof of a factory defect was NOT available. Then Champs got into the mix in MY Jeep. After following ALL electrical circuits several time, burning out my new computer and THEIR 3 OTHER COMPUTERS. They discovered a wire which was unprotected during manufacturing that shorted out the Jeep. Problem was never reported on any Jeep system.NONE. CHAMPS and quoted me about 450.00 for my original service request. The repair and solving the problem cost about $3000 or more.. CHAMPS DID NOT CHARGE ME, except the original QUOTED SERVICE PRICE. I recommend Champs for their honesty and Dedication to CUSTOMER SERVICE and their profession. They are beyond Great or Excellent.

I took my car in because I didn't know what was wrong with it. Sam called me and said I needed rotors and pads all the way around. I paid over $400 I had to take my car back 3x Sam was great but the mechanic in the back had a bad attitude. I did all of that just to get my brakes done a couple of weeks ago (it's been a little over a year) all for the mechanic to tell me that my rotors weren't changed they were shaved. I will never go back there again $400for the problems and then for my rotors to not be changed.

I took my Car for repair work, per Conversation with the Owner Sam. He was very friendly and helpful, He knows What He is doing. Sam told me my car would possibly be finished at a later due to the fact He had to order the part. I was surprised he had my car finished before that date. I had purchased a vehicle that has been giving me So many problems i felt like i was drowing i was so overwhelmed, until i was referred to Champs Automotive to inspect the issues where i met Sam. One of the few wholesome, honest, and professional mechanics i have ever been introduced to. Sam took me and my issue head on and gave me more than great service. I felt that i could trust Sam as i was feeling jerked around by other shops prior to Champs. I went to Champs Automotive after an insult by a salesman at another establishment who had been rude and arrogant. At Champs I was treated as a valuable customer. The manager addressed my issues and gave me the assistance required. My vehicle was repaired and available in a timely manner. I had gone for service concerning a leak. I knew I had other issues. As each problem was revealed during the inspection I received a call for repair authorization. My vehicle runs smoothly without noise and I am comfortable. In addition the services rendered to my vehicle exceeded my expectations and the price was right! I will return as needed and I highly recommend Champs in Eastpointe.

My husband and I moved to the state in 2015 and since just about the beginning, we have been going to Champs. Recommended by a family member, Sam has always been so professional and his prices are always fair. He has never been too bothered to break down the individual services and prices or answer any of my many questions. Our cars are together and functioning beautifully when we pick them up. They don't procrastinate and run up labor hours. If I pull up at 8 in the morning, I'm usually picking up my ride before 2. We have taken both our cars to him and recommended Champs to a few family and friends. And as long as it's not a burden to get to Champs, (meaning distance and gas prices), we will continue to bring our business to them. Period!

Daughter/ son in-law was quoted 3 different prices . Starting with 350 all the way to 697. I told Robert that wasnโt flying . Negotiated down to 500. Iโm extremely disappointed in this bate and switch when it comes to pricing . He even said โ Iโm taking a huge loss โ . If I did something like this as a health care professional I would lose my license .

Donโt get nothing done to your car unless Issac is there. I went in for an oil change. They had to break my oil filter housing because they put the screw on too tight from the last oil change I got. The guy gave me 3 different prices from $600, $750, $850, then charged my card $900 and pulled out a watt of cash and gave me back $20 in cash. Issac got these untrustworthy people working in his shop scamming on people. Iโve been going here over 5 years and nothing like this happened to me until they got. They got over on me because Iโm a black woman. Ask for Issac when you go. Donโt talk to the people thatโs there. Issac you can trust for sure.

Absolutely DO NOT GO HERE! My family has done business with Issac for many years 0 problemsโฆ This guy has charged me $1800 for a service that was not completed. Stated my rear end differential was replaced brought it back twice to be replaced they put a used faulty part on my car. I got my car diagnosed from the dealer and guess what rear end differential still bad. Only solution was given to me was pay more money to replace and part on my car that does not need repaired! I have paperwork! Very disappointed they would take advantage of a single black mother with 2 children. Refusing to fix what they never fixed! Donโt trust them donโt go here! Refusing to let me speak to Issac! Bad buisness DONT NOT GET BRING YOUR CAR HERE!

I went to Champs Auto repair in eastpointe after going to another shop to check my car and they wanted to get over on me for $3,000 on unnecessary repairs. Went to Champs and they checked out my car turned out all I needed was a tune-up, they were good on price and got my car running like new again, from now on my car will only go to champs!!!! I have been going to Champs for 10+ years. They are the ONLY ones I allow to fix my car. As a woman I used to fear getting taken advantage of especially around pricing, and repairs needed. Champs has always been fair and the repairs are always done right. Highly recommend.
