When I brought my car in, I informed the mechanic that there was a problem with my ABS system and was told that it can’t be that problem if the ABS light isn’t on. They held my car for 3 days before looking at it and sounded annoyed when I called for updates. They ended up telling me the problem was with my ABS system and I would have to leave my car for 10 days to get it fixed. No one fixed anything on the car per my request and I was charged a “diagnosis fee” for poor customer service and condescending behavior. The owner also overpromised to me multiple times about timeline of service and repair needs. The whole reason I brought the car in to this shop was for a repair under warranty and he didn’t even call the warranty company to see if my repair was covered. Would not recommend if you need fast service and repairs under warranty. A waste of time and money bringing my car here. Hope this situation is just a fluke.

Every time I come to Charm City Auto, I am greeted with a warm welcome and excellent service. George was tightly booked with oil changes. I was getting ready to walk out and go elsewhere, but he managed to squeeze me into his schedule. Their waiting area is always nice and clean and the staff always take good care of your vehicle. I was driving my new car back from VA to RI the weekend before Christmas when my tire pressure sensor light came on. The first few gas stations I stopped at didn't have a working air pressure gauges so I went into Charm City's Office asking for help. They had me pull into the garage right away and checked each of my tires for me. The peace of mind that gave me for my 8-hour trip home was absolutely priceless, and they wouldn't let me give them any money. Thank you to George & Charm City Auto for your kindness. Always contacts you if additional works needs to be done to get your authorization prior to preforming work. No unexpected increased bills ever! Always has vehicle completed by the time requested. I went to this shop with my BMW and I’m glad I took the chance. They are very polite, friendly and helpful. They did a fantastic job repairing all the problems that would’ve set me back in thousands of dollars if I took it to the dealership, George was kind and mindful. My husband and I both needed a near by car wash because we were dropping off our two trucks (GMC Canyon and a RAM 1500 to tell sizes) at the VPC. First we used the normal car wash side. It did great at cleaning but it did not rinse off all the suds off the back of either our trucks (photo attached). So then we decided to go through the touch free to see if that would wash all suds off since at drop off our vehicles needed to be spotless… it washed them off the back, but now the passenger side was covered in suds. We ended up using a water bottle and rags we had with us to wash the remainder off both our trucks. Neither machine also gave receipt.

I had my car towed here because of all the good reviews. I called 3 days later to follow up on my car and found out they never retrieved my key. I finally get a call and told that they’re checking out my car and I need a new battery. My car has been checked several times prior to arriving at the shop and I know for sure my battery has full power. It’s just not turning over. A week later, I’m following up AGAIN and hearing George said he won’t start on my car without a $500 deposit. Why aren’t you getting in touch with me ? And what do I need to put down $500 for ??? Nobody has communicated what is wrong with my car. I don’t think you know atp. I see all these reviews about next day service. Sorry I haven’t come in to the shop because I don’t have a car 💀 but is this the service ?

I was on a long drive from Williamsburg, VA to NJ when my check engine light began flashing. We did a quick search of the area for a nearby auto mechanic and thankfully found Charm City. They were so friendly and helpful. They had a clean, comfortable waiting area which was very much appreciated since I had no where else to go, being so far from home. They ordered a part right away and prioritized the work on my car so I could get home to my family. Crissy the receptionist was lovely and put my mind at ease. I had every confidence in Brad who did the work on my car, and he very helpfully gave me information to pass along to my local mechanic to get my car in tip-top shape. George the owner was wonderful, and it is clear he's an honest and honorable businessman. Thank you, Charm City Auto.
