I’ve been going to Lucky Auto Repair since they first opened. I’ve had the pleasure of working with the owner Lucky and his mechanics for a lot of years now. I’ve had nothing but the best service. One thing about this place is they are very honest when it comes to fixing your vehicle, if you don’t need something fix they will let you know, they are not money hungry. They care about the customer and the care of your vehicle. If this shop is closed because it’s after business hours, I still will wait, I don’t let anyone else work on my vehicle besides myself. I highly recommend this establishment, if you want fair prices and great customer service.

My van was making a weird noise around my drivers side tire, so I googled nearest opened mechanic(because this was Sunday/today) and it took me to these gentlemen. Almost immediately, he took my van for road trip to see what the problems was. Brought it back diagnosed and fixed it and I was back on the road. I! 20 mins. It’s not near where I live but I will gladly make a trip back to have my car serviced. They were friendly, efficient and effective!! And Very affordable!! Thanks Gentlemen and Lucky Auto Repair!!

Was supposed to fix alternator and belt They didn’t call me to pick up my car at the pickup time that same day so I dropped in the next day to find out they broke my radiator so they was trying to repair it but I got there before the glue dried smh livid now this happened on the day after Mother’s Day which is in may. They claimed they didn’t once I showed them they did due to the wet glue the owner says he will repair it is now June 11th and I’m still riding around with no air !!!!! I WLD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR NOTHING.this shows me they break things to get u to come to them to fix it or they breaks things as fixing your first issue!!! Save yourself the pain go somewhere else!!!

Just had my car maintenance done here just today, and I got to say that it’s was a very good experience all around in terms of the price first and foremost, and the quality of the work.

SUCKS! Had car towed in because it wasn’t starting. I have a 2011 Prius. When I spoke with them I mentioned it could be auxiliary battery. After thinking about the cost I asked to do a diagnostic test. Well they didn’t! I picked up my car that had a battery replaced, $550. Two hours later getting towed back. They did testing and now it’s water pump. Mind you, I said do testing the 1st time. They would not work with me as far as the battery possibly being returned. My car has been there for 3 weeks. My parents called to pay for it and they would not allow. They live in OC, dad’s name is on car, insurance and the credit card matches all that. They are charging $800 this time around! Had to give 1 star but believe me they need negative stars!

Always remember in life you get what you pay for!! I had the worst experience at this hole in the wall shop! Took my Tacoma there in the process of changing my oil the alley mechanic stripped the nut on my oil pan and didn't disclose his incompetence.....Took my lexus for rotors and pads now my car squeaks something awful! I wouldn't recommend this so called mechanic shop too a dog! You've been warned stay as far away as possible!! If I could give it a "0" stars in would without hesitation!

I had work done on my alternator at a different shop, and the serpentine belt snapped a few hours after I left. I ended up in front of Lucky’s- they went OUT of their way to diagnose the problem - and have even offered to fix it the following morning ( I arrived at close of the day ).. Amazing Customer Service and they are clearly experts here Thank You Brian

I went in for them to check out why my engine light was on. Well he took me back and showed me everything wrong I didn’t ask abt which I appreciated because just getting the car I needed to know what issues I need to work on getting fixed but I asked is that why my engine light is on and he said no that’s something different. I guess they still didn’t know what the engine light problem was. Well I got my dad to come pick me up while they took the time finding out the problem and mind you for them to connect that code reader to the car was $120. Ok so we left and abt 30 more minutes I called to find out do you know what is causing this light to be on and he said basically it’s going to be a $900 fix oh and we can’t guarantee that something else won’t come up once we fix it. I called my family and they said no, start with the cheapest fix first. And work your way up. Even google says that. These mechanics? No they just gonna jump to the 1,000 dollar problem, tell u it might not even be the real cause and not care about your pockets. I’ve even had them tell me they couldn’t find anything wrong with another car, and then miraculously came back with a $350 issue that I knew had just been fixed somewhere else. These people can’t be trusted

I am sharing my personal experience with Lucky Auto: if someone wants to waste time, risk damaging their vehicle, and lose money, this is the place to go, as they do not have a single qualified mechanic and most of the staff are trainees still learning on customers’ cars. My experience was extremely poor—I spent around $700–$800, yet my car issue was never resolved because they failed to properly diagnose the problem. My sincere advice is not to be tempted by cheap rates and instead choose a workshop with experienced mechanics; on top of that, their mechanics’ attitude toward customers is highly unprofessional and rude, which is why, based on my experience, I do not consider them deserving of even a one-star rating.

I went to fix my car there, they have great service, excellent communication and the time limit was great. They figured the problem in few minutes that most of the shops couldn’t. I would definitely recommend to take you vehicle there. They’re the best

Nope! Just Nope! 1st time amd last time customer. Went for a axle replacement. After repair finish and bill been paid. starting to hear rapid clicking on acceleration. I already knew they didnt torque the axle bolt. Lucky trying to tell me "my technician is experienced and they tightened the nut with a gun." Red flag already! Good thing I had my torque wrench in the car. Axle nut was finger loose! I explained what if i got in a car accident or worst, die? Homie said "i got insurance". I said OK, then walk away. NO ACCOUNTABILITY... Im ASE Certified technician. I worked with BMW, AUDI, Mazda, and Honda at a high level. Only reason why i didnt fix my car my self because its 12 degree outside. Dont worry. When it happen to a person that not experienced as me. Lets see if the insurance cover manslaughter on a technician...

I highly recommend Lucky auto! I had my van sitting at another mechanic for a week. I finally went and got my van and took it to Lucky on Tuesday afternoon, and Dee said they could work on Wednesday. But Wednesday afternoon he called and let me know the the OEM sensor is not availabe at dealer today but can be deliverd friday and thursday was thanksgiving, if i want aftermarket that can be install today but not recomended, i had to wait one extra day, which i dont mind as i prefer good work then one extra day. My van is running as new, no vibration anymore, I had my van back in great working condition!

Recently, I took my vehicle there for the first time for a water pump replacement. They were very friendly, did a great job, didn't charge me any extra fees above their quote, and also showed me other issues with my car and gave me a good estimated price if I want to do repair next time. Repair done on time. Very happy with the experience.

I brought my VW Jetta to Lucky Auto Repair for a clutch replacement. The shop gave the car back without a receipt, without explaining any issues, and without properly reinstalling the transmission. Days later, the transmission started sagging, coolant burst out, and the car became completely undrivable. When I returned asking for help, the shop refused responsibility. Only after I reported the problem did they print a new invoice that suddenly included “coolant is leaking,” which they never mentioned at pickup. Their workmanship and documentation practices are extremely concerning. The photo attached shows the condition of the transmission after their repair — bolts/mounts appear loose or improperly reinstalled. I have filed an official complaint with the Maryland Attorney General (Case MU-529176) because of the safety issues and how the situation was handled. I strongly recommend that customers use caution and verify all work and paperwork before leaving this shop.
