Wouldn't recommend I came to visit LA and my car needed a new AC compressor turns out metal entered my ac system got charged over a grand just for my mechanic in vegas to tell me the owner ripped me off ac system is clogged

I see on here where people say that they paid $200 for a diagnostic well I guess you judge my friend's car because we hang out in the area you charged her 300 what's up with that or was just being judgmental taking advantage of a woman and then you charge to another $200 to fix a problem that wasn't even the problem it was her rack and pinion that was broken steering wheel was all loose when she got the car back which it wasn't when she put it in there actually you took two days to get it off the street when you just told her to pushed it back out on the street like she wasn't a customer any other customer you keep that car in your yard as if so we as if she didn't have the money to fix her car because you were judgmental which is very wrong I don't understand you fix something on her car that wasn't right or maybe it was and just left the other problem and didn't say anything about it don't judge a book by its cover because that's what you did

My experience was the worst, they checked things I didn't asked to to be checked and they charged me for it. Basically I end up paying a $140.00 for a used tire...find another mechanic ppl.

Trust Mr Chung and doesn't over charge he actually saved me a good 700 bucks from the dealer or I got 2 jobs done for 1000 when the dealer was trying to charge me 3000 plus I'm with Chung

Our 1985 Mercedes is like an anorexic Brazilian model - absolutely gorgeous, but a bit frail and prone to fits of angst. Chung's Auto Repair's is the automotive equivalent of a burger-and-a-Valium. Honest, consistent, and affordable. Always there, never fail. LOVE Chung's Auto Repair!!!

had work done here then all of a sudden something that I know was was working right needs work. Gave them the benefit of the doubt and went back same thing happened again, plus work that I was told needed do to prevent a problem was done then a month later... guess what? That problem occurred. Also was quoted a price each time on work I supposedly needed, when I didn't need the work he came up with an excuse on saying he went ahead and did other work and charged me for that with out consulting me first! Bad businesses!!!

I needed a new battery and I was in and out in 30 minutes. Very quick and ver professional and honest . I've just recently acquired a car after years of being a non driver and am more comfortable knowing I have somewhere to take my car when needed.

He did a good job with an altima I basically destroyed doing package deliveries, got me back on the road for considerably less than a bunch of other places I went to, and didn't bs me about what the deal was.

He basically had me pay 200 to diagnose my car which he didn’t even know the actually problem saying he recommends me I need to know the exact problem I need to fix for my car I waisted over 500+ trying to solve 1 issue and he didn’t even inspect my car all the way as he should he literally just had my car sitting there for 2. Days scammed. This is not a good auto business it’s bad

If I can give this place zero stars I would! Went in for an oil change and this “mechanic” informs me that it needed other things to it I stated no and he went ahead and do it anyways then proceeded to charge me after I SPECIFICALLY said no this individual rips people off he proceeded to do “everything” it needed in an hour how can that possibly be DONT GO THERE USELESS PLACE ITS ALL A SCAM

Worst experience ever, got a quote for roughly $400.00 that ended at $1007.00 and talked my way down to $820.00 because the work wasn't done right. VERY EXPENSIVE $100.00 for alignment, $60.00 to press a bearing, and $98.00 per hour labor charge. I dealt with Ted.

I've been dealing with ted for 34 years. He does dealer quality work, for less than dealer prices You pay for what you get. You can go, and get a cheaper price, but through my experiences, it's not worth it. He lets you know what your problems are, and what'll cost up front I will continue to deal with him, and bring all my vehicles to him.

I had to have some work done to pass a smog test on a just purchased used Cadillac. I was referred by some very good friends. I read reviews nonetheless. The folks that complained about Chung's were met with an insightful rebuttal. I love clarity. Ted is clear if nothing else. Car repair, the time and the cost associated with it are not pleasant. Sometimes, Ted is not pleasant. That said, he helped me meet my objectives and improved the quality of my vehicle.

Went in for one thing and gave me a price. Next thing you know, I come back and they changed MULTIPLE parts which I DID NOT ASK FOR. I left paying WAY MORE than I was told I was actually going to pay. When confronting the guy, I had asked to remove what he had altered, but he acted like he didn’t know what I was talking about and LEFT. I am very upset and I’m assuming he does all this for the money. The original price was around $870, but I ended up paying $1,260 for PIECES I DID NOT WANT!! My husband and I left EXTREMELY disappointed and could not believe we were scammed this badly.
