Ban Services, made a wrong installation of alternator belt, failed to do the correct alignment of the alternator pulley causing the vehicle alternator to malfunction making a noise and the battery got discharged and making vehicle to stop, the owner mechanic refused to correct the problem caused by his negligence, terrible place

Intercooler pipe on my type r came off while I was leaving school and this was the closest shop, I drove here and asked them if they could put a new one only takes like one minute to put a new one on and I was willing to pay and wait. Mechanic was really rude and loud definitely would not come here.

Came early on a weekend and they told me to come back on Monday since they didn't want to take up a rack on a weekend which is understandable. I took it back on the Monday, having to be late to work, and the guy who told me to come took off, and was the only one able to do diagnostics so I got stuck with no where else to go when I could have just gone to a different shop on the weekend

I did my first Yelp review of these guys in September of 2009. At first, I only had them doing routine oil changes and basic maintenance on my 2003 Suburban. Over the years, Dan and his team have come to know my vehicle so well that I almost always regret taking it somewhere else. I still have the Suburban, and though I have moved to Fremont, I still will make the periodic trek to downtown San Jose for specific work that I know will be done right, and will be done for an HONEST price. Never have these guys charged me more than they had to. Sketchy area? Yup! Some of the team need customer service training? You betcha'! If you can look past that and understand that they are a small business and doing great work in a small space, you may appreciate how difficult that must be. My Suburban is approaching 25 years old, and at this point, I may never get rid of it. With the help of Dan and the rest of the team at City Auto Care, I may never have to.
