I used to go here all the time. They did a good job and seemed honest. A year ago, I bought a late 90's Volvo so I found a experienced Volvo mechanic to handle most jobs. I did however, bring it in to C.A.R. in August for some front end brake work. I noticed shortly after, a rubbing sound in my front wheels (a common symptom of bad rotors). My Volvo mechanic noticed they were warped and suggested I have C.A.R. fix them since they had only been put on a couple months ago and were clearly still under warranty. I took it to C.A.R. After the inspection they told me I needed new tie rods but that the rotors were fine so they would not honor the warranty. The tie rods have since been replaced and guess what? The rubbing sound has now advanced to a violent shake whenever I hit the brakes. My Volvo mechanic verified that yes, I had bad rotors and now I'm most likely passed the warranty period. It's really disappointing because I liked C.A.R. for many years but I will never go there again. I know nothing about working on cars so I need to rely on my mechanic to do an honest and thorough job and sadly, I've lost that with C.A.R.

My favorite thing about C.A.R. is that they have a tow truck! With my old car, I often found myself stranded. I liked being able to only make one call to get my car towed and fixed. They always arrived in great time, and they always got my car back to me and on the road quite quickly. I have a different car now, which I recently brought in for brakes (and found out there was much more that needed fixing...isn't that always the case?!?! Ugh!). Lucky for me, I didn't need towing this time, but because of their 1st come, 1st serve policy, I was able to drop it off at my convenience. They got it back to me that same day, and although it cost me way more than anticipated, I'm happy to say that it is running well. Everyone here is knowledgeable, helpful, and respectful. I confidently recommend C.A.R. to those looking to get their vehicle(s) repaired. Thanks!

I needed my rear shocks and a brake line replaced and this shop quoted the best price and had my car ready in one day. To top it off, my radio (which didnt work for me before) now works! They were very nice too. Would recommend for sure :)

Great people here! I was impressed when I had a muffler done a while ago they recommended that I go with a more durable type instead of the absolute cheapest option. I’m pretty sure it saved me a few years of repairs since the cheap ones look like tin cans & this one they got me was thick & strong. I’ve been happy with their work ever since. Thanks guys! It may not be the prettiest of places but I don’t mind since car repair places aren’t known for that

I took my vehicle in for a problem and waited 5 hours without any call from the shop. I finally called them to find out my car had been sitting and they said nothing was wrong. There was an issue driving .5 miles to their shop. I understand the part I thought wasn't the issue, but the problem still remained even after them tightening something that solved the issue 90%. They considered that as done then failed to call again after I asked them to please drive on the highway to see if they could still locate the problem. They came highly recommended so I had high expectations that they would help me solve the problem. They did not want to help me track the problem down which wasted an entire day off then another week of driving unsafe until my regular mechanic could troubleshoot. Very disappointed in their professionalism over the phone as well.

Fair prices, always get my car back the same day, if I bring it in first thing in the morning. Have used these guys for years. They treat you right. Repairs are great. One of the few places I personally highly recommend. They are my mechanics. Always will be. 1/4/2024. Another great repair job. Honest, hardworking, efficient, just a group of well trained and friendly people. Will never go anywhere else.

my first time using Complete, a family member has taken vehicle there before and recommended them. Had an oil pressure switch go bad on our van. The repair required removing the intake to access the switch. Joe did a great job on our van and made sure to communicate to me what was happening. Was able to get my car back the same day I dropped it off. Repair appears to be good and the price was reasonable for parts and labor.

I brought my 2016 explorer to them for some warranty work on my water pump. While I was dropping it off Joe asked if we wanted them to do the timing chain also and that it wouldn't be covered by warranty because it wasn't broken and it would cost us $900 out of pocket. So I told him to only do what the warranty would cover. A few days later they contacted me to tell me that my $100 deductible had now turned into $288 because my warranty didn't cover 1 hour of labor and some gaskets. So I said that was ok and they could start the work and was told it would take about a week to complete. Fast forward a week later and the day they told me it would be done I get a call from Joe saying that the timing chain had failed after they put it back together and that the warranty would cover the timing chain but wouldn't cover 10 hours of labor and the truck wasn't running good and they can either put it back together and I'd have to have it towed or they can do the work but my bill is now $1288. Called the warranty company to ask about the not covered labor and they stated the the repair shop told them that they told me I needed a new timing chain and that I declined wanting that done too. I also then figured out that the day they called me to tell me the timing chain was bad is the day they added that to my claim through the warranty company. so because the original claim didn't include the timing chain, waterpump and all the labor I was stuck with the uncoved labor. Fast forward another week and we go to pick the vehicle up and noticed there were damages to the back of our vehicle that were not there when we dropped it off. I confronted the owner about the damages and he says there's no way that it could have happened in the shop and he would check his cameras to see what happened and than just walked away. I'll edit this when I get more info. Do not get work done by Joe, and do not take your vehicle to Complete Automotive Repair on Alpine.

Highly recommended! Once I found this place I had no need 2 go anywhere else. Master Mechanic is owner. Has a great professional attitude & is very kind & fair. The staff works well together. They stay busy because they do their job right & local clients come back. I moved out of state & Owner made sure my vehicle was fit for trip.
