I highly recommend Cornelsen! They performed services under a NAPA nationwide warranty program and collaborated with my hometown mechanic in order to arrive at the most complete diagnosis and treatment of my vehicle. I have used this shop twice and both times my experience was great!(Once for a/c & the other for brakes) David is very thorough when explaining repairs. Both times the repairs were completed in the same day. Prices were fair each time. This is definitely my shop of choice in Amarillo!

Rude and highly over priced. If your just someone who doesn't mind spending ridiculous amounts of cash on vehicle Repairs then I recommend their service s. If you are looking for good customer services and a mechanic that will talk you through the heart breaking experience of repairing your vehicle. I would recommend johns automotive.

Other reviewers have stated that Cornelsen charged a good price. However, that was not my experience. He performed one service on my my car, and gave me an estimate to perform another service. Both of those services were priced approximately 30% higher than other auto shops in Amarillo. I will not be returning to this place.

I had concerns about the brakes on my Toyota van that is 9 years old. I’m fixing to be traveling with grandchildren over a large number of miles. I took my van in for a check, expecting to be told I need hundreds of dollars of repair work like the last time I went to a nationwide brake franchise. Instead the brakes were checked and I was told that my brakes were working fine and would be for many miles to come. I was charged nothing for their time time and expertise. I felt greatly relieved on several levels but also grateful for what appeared to be honesty and integrity in the workplace. I will be going back if a mechanic is in my future.

Very easy to work with!! Dropped my Acadia off to get the air conditioner fixed and brake pads checked. He was honest with me and said my brakes were safe (after a first business told me I was at 1% on my brake pads). And when I dropped my car off my tire light was flashing over a low tire, he also fixed that without charging me or telling me he did it for me!! He also had my car in and out on the same day at a fair price!! And it's been a week and my air conditioner is still ice cold!! I highly recommend this business!!! Great job guys!!!

I feel like I'm just not a customer when I drop our vehicles off at The Cornelsons' shop - I'm treated like family. They are honest, kind, and get the job done with reasonable prices. I don't worry about getting taken advantage of for being unknowlegable about auto mechanics, something that I'm not sure I've ever felt as a longstanding driver. I have referred several of my friends to them, too....lots of happy customers!

I took my car here to get serviced two years ago, but the vehicle started having the same issues as soon as I drove off. I returned the car for additional service, and the owner dared to say that I must be the one who had caused the issue with my own vehicle, causing it to act in that manner. What would I be doing in order to have the coolant leak every month? Blames a teenager because he can’t admit his own work is spotty. Thanks, David.

David and his wife were amazing to deal with! I had come into to town to visit my husband on Memorial Day weekend. On my way down to TX my AC stopped blowing cold air. I was stressed all weekend hoping to find a mechanic that would be honest, fair and not take advantage of my desperate situation. I had to get back on the road the day after Memorial and that was the soonest any shop was open. I checked out reviews and this was the only place that had ALL good reviews. Well they lived up to the hype. Not only did they get me in first thing but prioritized my job so I could get back on the road for my 13hr. drive. They explained to me exactly what was going on with my car and gave me my options. It was such a relief to find and work with such great people. They are honest, fair, and do their best to help you out. So grateful I came here. I was in a bind AC shut off, couldn’t stand it! It was Friday afternoon went by David and his son John went above and beyond👍🏽. John got to work immediately found the culprit (a previously faulty connector installed on coil) and BAM 💥 two hours later my 2003 Ford F-150 was back in business! They are good people here, they were planning to leave for Dallas but took the time to fix my truck. GOOD HONEST FOLKS here. Thank you 🙏🏽 so much.
