On my way home to Mountain View, my Low Tire Pressure Warning Light came on. Fortunately, the Roseville Costco was nearby. Instantly helpful, Nick checked all four, determined which tire and found the leak. Rudy set me up with a walk-in appointment and had me in and out in an hour. This enabled me to arrive home before commuter traffic started. Thanks guys! This is why I buy my tires from Costco. And I use the Costco 15% discount when I get my car serviced.

So, if you haven't noticed, like me, they have changed their hours and policy. They open at 9 am now. That isn't a big deal but letting your customers know would of been nice. What is a big deal is they're mainly only doing tires by appointments now. The only play I saw this advertised is on their registers in the tire center. Now if you're like me, you only go inside the tire center when you either need new tires, or you need a rotation. They should of displayed this information inside the main store as well to maximize the information to customers, but they didn't. Even the appointment website has no mention of this. They do take walk-ins after the appointments. But I was told that since I wanted a tire rotation and they were only doing tire installations that day I'd have to make another appointment for another day. This is not effective communication at all with your customers. I live an hour away from a costco and if I can't do a walk-in for my tires because of my variable schedule at work, then I'm going to have to get my tires elsewhere, as im sure other customers will be as well. Poor communication and poor customer service on your part in this Costco.

These guys are awesome. Came in late with my daughters car due to a flat tire. Brandon was so great, even though they were booked out, he checked the tire and was able to fit us in to get two new tires installed. I went around to check after a while and all the guys in the shop were very nice and let me know the progress even though it was evident they were busting their butts with all the work they had. Great customer service here. Will be bringing my other cars here when need tires. Thanks guys!!!

Wait time is long when you don't have an appointment but when you need something done now, you just have to wait as a walk in. It is what it is. Appointments can be booked online but are usually 2 weeks out. Either way, we always get great service, they have a great warranty program, and it keeps us coming back. Also, if you know what tires you want, it's good to call and see if they have it in stock before driving over. You can also order your tires online and make an appointment online to have them put on which will cut down on your wait time on the day of installation.

We always seem to buy tires at Costco tire centers. The techs there are always super courteous and knowledgeable. The only negative problem with Costco tire centers is that they are so popular the poor technicians are slammed most of the time and desperately try and fit you in on your scheduled appointment. Still we priced out tires at other outlets this last time and Costco still went out especially with the coupon.

Very efficient service. Ordering online was super easy and I appreciated their Labor Day sale and the chance to get all-season Michelin tires for a good price. The installation was very fast, under an hour, with no waiting.

Couldn't fix my tire due to their claim that the tire wasn't in good enough shape, but they didn't have the size in stock to replace it either (however they did offer a $200 credit for my current tires to apply toward new ones). They left me with an unrepaired and under-inflated tire (20 lbs) which they rotated to the FRONT of my vehicle and left me to drive home unsafely and wait for my ordered set of tires to arrive. Before going back to get my new tires installed I scheduled an appointment on line. I got an email and text with confirmation of my appointment time, which warned me to arrive 15 minutes early or risk losing my spot. I arrived 25 minutes before my time, waited in line for 15 minutes and was then informed that they had my appointment time as 30 later than what I had scheduled. The person helping me didn't really care that I had an email and text message stating a different time. Another problem, the person I spoke with the week before told me I'd get a $200 credit for my current tires toward new tires. At my appointment time to install my new tires, I was told my credit was $79. Not even close. Bottom line, this store is so busy that customer service has gone out the window. Don't bother with them if you want them to care about your time, money, safety, or vehicle.

One of the best places to get your new tires and to maintain them while you shop. My only advice on new tires is to order online as the stock on hand doesn't always match what you want. - edited review from my previous 5 star recommendation - Based on the past 3 experiences with Costco Tires I do not recommend them anymore. One rude person manning the desk who never once looked at me or answered the phone that was ringing non-stop for the 30m I was in the store. No rebate honored on the last 3 tires purchased. I will say they are still the cheapest around with installation, but other stores will price match the tires and I had a same day install just down the street. The very short and rude tire sales guy said it would have to make an appointment for three days out - on a failed tire. I understand being busy, but in the past few years something has shifted and they are understaffed, rude, and have zero customer service. I was at a competitor within 10m and had tires installed with a smile and a request to come back in for free monthly air and tread checks. Costco used to offer to check tires, but has since put up a self service compressor that is often used for parking instead. Today I followed up on the cancellation I had place with the Warehouse manager as nobody was answering the phone the day I put in the order. The warehouse manager identified they would take care of it with the tire center. Troy said it was still in the system and I'd have to come in to cancel it. What?! Being asked to spend another 30m + 30m drive there and back to wait for one rude person to credit my account? The tire center needs to be addressed, Costco. It has the feel of a separate entity and not the Costco vibe at all. I don't believe I'll be going back to costco tires in the future.

Not efficient at all taking about 15 minutes or more with each customer to check in for no reason I have been waiting for 50 minutes and still just to drop off my vehicle for 1 tier replacement which I already paid for and have the receipt very frustrating

Have gotten many sets of tires from these guys. One time I had 3 of 5 of my wheel studs break due to lug nuts being overtightened (if the other 2 broke it would’ve caused major body damage and serious risk of accident). Yet again they have overtightened one of my lug nuts resulting in a broken stud. Would strongly suggest you avoid getting your tires here

Safety and Quality issue: Drove my car in there and waiting for almost three hours. Very simple fix. I needed them to fix my flat tire. I showed where I thought the nail went in. However, they neglected to inspect the whole tire and relied on my own findings. After waiting for 3 hours, I left the warehouse, drove for a few miles and Flat tire sensor turned on again. Went back in for the second time, only to be informed that they neglected to inspect the whole tire and missed another spot. I appreciate their honesty but the inconvenience and loss of time is quite costly.

Very quick service for new tire installation. Was in and out of the store in less than an hour. Courteous service, explained what will be done during installation and provided recommendations for tire care after the service.

Staff to the point and quick. No marketing talk. Explained terms and offer in detail. They have good offer on Bridgestone which will save $125 if you change 4 tires. Tire Rotation free every six month or 6k miles. Replace tire if break down upto 70k miles with prorated warrenty.

Lazy people work here. Shame for Costco. I expected a better attitude from them. Almost one hour to the end of the day and they refuse to rotate tires which takes 15-20 minutes. Instead, I have to stay by all their EMPTY bays and listen to the "this takes 1.5 hours, we don't have enough time" fairy tale. The quality of customer service at Costco has declined. It isn't a high standard anymore. Do we have to call their main office in Washington to ask for a better service for the membership we pay every year for decades? UPDT. 5 months ago they refused to rotate the tires. Today, AFTER 5 MONTHS, they said "your tires are worn out on the sides and we aren't going to fix air leak, inflate, balance, rotate your tires, and they aren't covered by warranty, buy 4 new tires.". NO MORE TIRES FROM COSTCO CROOKS!!!

Costco was supposed to look for the welfare of their customers, but when I came in to claim my road hazard warranty for a flat tire; the staff member who attended to my inquiry told me that the tire was beyond repair and that I needed to replace all four, despite only having driven 28K miles on each. I took it to Les Schwab, and they fixed it for free. I understand technicians are always busy, but please take the time to carefully inspect the issue and try to save your members' hard-earned money. They've just lost a long-time loyal customer because of this experience.

7:00 appointment, 8:35, they finally got it in the shop. Why the heck did I come in for 7 o-clock? And that’s for a simple tire rotation.

Terrible service. We went here to get our flat tire replaced (called prior and they said they could) it’s 8pm at night in the pouring rain and they won’t service our car. Will never recommend this place to anyone!!!

One of the worst tire shopping experiences I have had. Did not feel my business was wanted here. Extremely rude staff, slow service (taking 3 hours to change tires for an appointment). Will be taking my business elsewhere. Truly disappointing experience from Costco which is typically known for its customer service.

If I could give 0 stars I would. My teenage daughter's tire blew out on hwy 65 tonight. We didn't have a spare and took her old tire off and took it in about 10 min before closing. 2 very unhelpful and rude employees wouldn't help us because they were closing and it was going to take them too long. I get that they were closing but when I said my daughter was on the side of a very busy Hwy, they didn't care to help. Extremely horrible customer service!! We will never come back here!
