I would not take my car here again. This was an authorized repair shop of my insurance company so I went with them bc of the good reviews and they have been in the area for a long time. Pros: I have no issues with their customer service. Cons: Everything else. They had my car for over a month and when it came time for them to pay for the rental car, they refused and said the manufacturer had to pay for it bc they kept sending them bad parts...but why should that fall on the customer? In the end, I had to pay over $1k out of pocket, and deal with the car not being repaired properly as you can see buffering marks from the fix. I also had to get the car detailed bc there was black mold in the back. Also, they told my insurance agency that the dealer didn't need to also take a look bc the car was fine when in fact the car's passenger side seatbelt was broken, so I had to take it myself after to the dealer for everything and will have to go through insurance again. It's ridiculous. If your insurance company recommends them or you need bodywork done, go somewhere else where they care more and will get the job right in a timely manner.

So I got into an accident and my insurance suggested Critelli’s. The reviews seemed good so I said ok sure. After having the WORST time getting a tow truck thru insurance (LAKEVILLE TOWING) to tow my car to the shop from my house, having taken them 24 hours, I called Critellis and they schedule a tow. Within 30 minutes the driver called me saying he’s on the way and towed my car 10 min later. Critellis worked so quickly with the insurance adjuster and started work immediately. I requested Critellis install an aftermarket steel bumper on my car. They said no problem, as long as I ordered in online (I knew the exact one I wanted) and had it sent to the shop. (They deducted the price from the deductible I owed them and made it work with what my insurance covered!). Anyway, my car would’ve been done a few days sooner but they waited it out for the steel bumper to arrive and had my car done in less than 10 days. Every employee here was sooooo accommodating, Alex was so professional and kept me up to date, and the body work/bumper install was incredible. Thank you so much for such amazing service. I can’t believe how soon I got my car back after my boyfriend needed body work on his truck and a totally different unrelated auto body shop out of Seymour kept him hanging for 4 weeks. I wasn’t expecting this to be so easy and quick. I can’t thank Critellis enough. 10/5 stars for sure.

Absolutely horrible experience. My car has been in the shop for 76 days now. That’s 2 1/2 months. The owner, Josh, had the nerve to yell at me and hang up during a phone call when I got no phone call updates regarding my car. First they took 2 months and said my car was ready and when I went to pick it up, I saw a scratch on my car that hadn’t been there prior to handing it to them. So I complained and had them fix that too. Then after another 2 weeks they said it was ready and when I went to pick it up and was driving it home, the engine blew and smoke started coming from the front and the steering wheel locked up and brakes failed. After all of this, they had the nerve to yell at me after they already got paid for their terrible job. I would rate a 0 if I could, a 1 is being generous.

Do not take your vehicle here for insurance claims. They over evaluate the repairs to total loss to collect a quick deductible on a few minutes of work. Alex and Josh are incredibly unethical and practice shady business.

I brought our Toyota to Critelli‘s and was warmly greeted by Alex. He took a look at the car, explained the details of what needed to be done and WHY. He assured me that he would try hard to get the job done as quickly as possible. Alex is the consummate professional. He and the staff quickly turned around the repair and it looks as good as new. They kept us fully informed, dealt directly with the insurance company, and took time to go over every detail before releasing the car to us. Not only did they fix our car but even cleaned inside and out, definitely didn’t expect that. I couldn’t be happier with my decision to use Critelli’s and Alex was absolutely a pleasure to deal with. Before you hire anyone to perform bodywork on your car, I strongly suggest bringing it to Critelli’s and give them an opportunity.

Had my car here for repairs after an accident as it’s a network shop of my insurance. While the car was in their care for repairs to the trunk the back seats was damaged - not just stained - with some adhesive/solvent/resin, yet they refused to accept the blame for the damages or apologize for it. And had I not checked they wouldn’t have applied a new protector film on the bumper either, even though I had upfront specifically reminded them to ensure to replace that as well.

I had a very positive experience with Critelli’s The staff is professional, courteous, and friendly. I spoke with Alejandra a few times and each and every time she was professional, sincere, and knowledgeable. Even when I was unable to take the call, she left me a detailed voice message each time. Everyone else I came in contact with was very nice and I would highly recommend this body shop. In fact, they gave me a separate quote on another part of my car that was damaged and said I could bring it back. I really appreciate it that professionalism and I for sure will bring my car back.

I had a very pleasant experience working with Critelli's! My main contact was Alex and he was incredibly professional and kind. I met Josh (who I later learned is the owner) who was just as professional, kind, and generous. He offered to help me out when an issue beyond their capicity to fix meant I might need to hire to have my vehicle towed from their location to another. Luckily, that got resolved and there was no need accept his generosity but I was go grateful for his kindness (I'm sure he saw how stressed I was!). The work they did was great. They even filled my tires, washed and vacuumed out my vehicle (which was overdue and much needed). I would absolutely recommend using Critelli's. They were great!

Had a great experience at Critelli’s recently - needed repairs after an accident and Progressive recommended them. Everyone was very kind went out of their way to help me drop my car off and pick it up in a timely fashion that worked for my schedule. They even helped me return the rental car to Enterprise when I wasn’t going to be able to make it there in time. Really appreciated the quick service and kindness.

Dropped off truck in for insurance claim, repair work, repairs were sub par, missing trim pieces, bad paint prep, trash bags from their workers inside truck when I picked it up. Had audio, hvac, light issues after pick up which I did not have prior. Blamed me for the problems. Dropped it back off after I was forced to buy another vehicle and had it there for another month while they tried to diagnose, Insurance was no help. Brought it to dealer, had broken wires and bent pins on a main harness connector and I had to eat the cost of the repair, granted I haven't been back there to see if they will comp me, and will have to drop truck off a third time for their poor finishing work, whole side of truck looks like their tech went wild with the buffer, swirl marks on that entire side, and an area where they put cutting compound on the wheel and left it, and never buffed it out. I don't even want to wash my truck because the whole side looks like shit in the sun

The people are helpful, very busy though, but they actually seem like they care, I believe they tried, but they came up short, due to insurance issues and communication issues and timeframe issues none of which were their fault.. I believe they treat their employees well and hold lunch parties for birthdays and they document everything and try to be honest and fair and fast , they just couldn't address my issues in a timely manner due to things outside of their control.. I recommend them.. there is a kind lady that when you walk in. Helps you, and then next to her a straight shooter that will draw all over your car and document everything and they are very thorough..
