**I came in here based on the reviews. This isn't a knock on Wilson or any of the mechanics. I actually wish I got the chance to interact with Wilson.** This is about an older Asian lady. As soon as I came inside the office, I greeted her but her reaction was quite stern. "What are you here for?" I explained that my headlights needed to be fixed. Lady: "We don't do that here ... How do you find out about us?" Me: "I found you guys online with 5 star ratings ..." Lady "No. We don't have time for this. We don't do this." Me: *confused*... "It's fine, I'll go somewhere else." As she was speaking, she was physically invading my space as in forcing me to walk out. Then she attends to another customer outside. It seems like from the reviews, it's a full auto-repair shop so I chose to come here. But the rudeness was unnecessary.

I have always loved this place! Whether you are here for a quick oil change to major work on your car (well, except for auto damages right?) then this is the place in Monterey Park! My car for 17 years and counting has gone thru a lot of repairs and D&D has been my go to auto repair. Wilson is the guy you want to see. Smile. Be courteous. Tell him the reviews led you here. And you'll leave satisfied once your car has gone thru its repair. If you feel something is not right, just make sure you have receipt and tell them and they'll gladly check it out again. I'm a repeat customer as long as they are still around and overall, I recommend this place for your car's services.

Came by to get my girlfriend's car repaired around 9am. Turned out to be the O2 sensor. The floor manager ordered the part to be rushed since she needed to be at work by 2pm. Got everything worked out. These guys are awesome and way cheaper than the dealer. Super nice to work with. Would definitely come here again.

I was visiting LA when my bmw went to limp mode and had my friend read the codes. It was the crankshaft position sensor. I took my car to this shop and they had my car done and ready the same day. Very friendly staff and reasonable price. They did a great job and was able to drive back to San Diego. I highly recommend them.

We've been taking our cars here for over 15-years. Wilson is the Owner or main person in charge here. All of the men that work here are honest and hardworking. They never try to cheat you out of a dollar. If they tell you something is wrong with your car believe them. They always have a line of cars and there work is 💯. I live an hour away from here now and we still take all 3 of our cars here.

I go here for all my cars. Well first I go to the dealer and have them check my car. Then after seeing the HUGE list plus HUGE bill I laugh and take that list to here. The owner here is always straight forward. Will use genuine parts unless he feels it's not worth and he will definitely ask you for your choice. Almost half the xhargeof the dealer on EVERYTHING and great service. Best guy around.

I have been the customer for over 25 years. The owner Wilson is the best. He is the most honest guy I've ever met. This is the way he runs his business. this is also why he gets all the return customers. he always told me what needs to be repair and what don't. He even told me that the parts are in recall so all I need is to pay for the labor. Other shop would have charge me parts and labor. He had also show me the defected parts after replace. This is how honest he is. Too bad he is about to retired. Hope he continues to run this shop.

The owner only fixes and charges reasonably for only what is necessary. He's a rear gem of a mechanic these days. He's busy most of the time but worth the wait but still gets the work done in a timely manner. Update 06/29/2021: Wilson is still in business! My wifey just had her Honda Accord serviced. As usual, Wilson only serviced what was necessary. Awesome guy. UPDATE 08/16/2022: Wilson has retired, but most of his crew is still running the business. Thanh is the person running the service garage now and he still goes by the same values Wilson had: only fix what is needed to fix and do a great job. We will keep D&D Auto Repair as our main Auto Service provider.

They're really nice here and the price is affordable, but after taking my parents car for an oil change here, my parents told me that they had to bring the car to another auto shop because the car was leaking oil. Something about how when the oil change was done, something wasn't tightened. Welp. I'm sure it wasn't on purpose; it's just somewhat disappointing for what should have been a simple procedure such as an oil change.

D&D DESERVES SIX STARS! Wilson and his guys are the best! Work is always done quickly and prices are great! Owner is great about telling you what does and does not need to be done, when you can get away with aftermarket parts or when factory parts are a must. Been bringing my cars here for 25 years.....started as a 2nd opinion from another mechanic who tried to rip me off telling me I needed a new clutch....d and d adjusted it and I drove for another 30k miles on that clutch. Id give them 6 stars if I could.

Called for an estimate quote on a repair. Told me nobody gives quotes on Mercedes. Although two other shops were able to give me a quote with just my license plate. Saw good reviews and did want to check them out so I am disappointed

this is my dad’s go to spot. this morning, We got there around 9:30 to do a smog check. The boss man himself worked on us immediately as soon as we got there. told us they would be done in about 10 minutes and sure enough it was quick smog check was $60 and as I was pulling out, he noticed my brake light was off so they stopped me. He immediately took a look at it popped it out and popped in a new one and just asked for 10 bucks. I thought was extremely reasonable really friendly quick service. I highly recommend.

I initially visited this shop to ask about pricing. Seeing the sign stating “affordable pricing” and experiencing friendly staff at first, I decided to have my car towed here for repair. After inspection, I was quoted $200 and told the car would be ready the next day. When I returned the next day, I found that no proper repair had been done. Instead, a temporary bypass jumper was installed to make the car start, and the price was then changed to $80. When I questioned this, the communication became noticeably unfriendly and the attitude was firm. I was only given two options: pay for the temporary solution or have the jumper removed and tow the car away. Since I had already paid for towing and lost time, towing the car again would have caused additional loss, so I had no choice but to pay the $80 and leave. I still had to take the car elsewhere and pay again for a proper repair.
