Found Freeway Auto through AAA. Brought both of my vehicles for oil changes. The mechanicas are very nice. Prices are fair. No seating so bring a lawn chair if you're going to wait for your car :)

AAA affiliate towing company. Waited over 4 hours for a tow. Kept getting my service time changed. Initial wait time of an hour slowly kept being changed at the last second. The worst aspect is having to wait by your vehicle for the truck only to be told that its been delayed again. If they are understaffed, AAA should be made aware so they can find alternatives. Instead I was stuck by my car for 4 hours.

I have been going to this shop for more than five years. Even though there are low reviews as to staff being discourteous I have never had any issues with the staff. I feel prices are reasonable. There are two cars that I have taken and the repairs made in them have always been taken care of without any issues.

First of the lady who handles the customer service is very nice, patient and knowledgeable. And the mechanics are top notch. They fixed my fuel pump and it was at a good price, I'm going back so they can fix my A/C actuators.

Horrible service. My vehicle was impounded and when I spoke to a dispatcher on the phone, he informed me that I could go pick up the car as long as it was before 1:00 pm on Saturday. He said that anything after that would require an after hour release charge of $121. I was able to arrive at 12:30 pm and they would not let my car go without paying that after hour charge. The dispatcher on the phone was misleading and I'll be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Nothing but thieves and liars here! Be wary when dealing with this shady business!

Today I had an awful experience with my car deciding to do not good things. I ended up needing it towed and I have never needed that before. I was nervous and really stressed out before Jay arrived. As soon as he did he asked how I was and offered me water empathizing with the heat of the day. He assured and reassured me many times that everything would be fine and he would take care of it, and he did. The vehicle was clear and large so my husband and I were both able to ride along comfortably. He even made sure the air was well circulated and at a good temperature for us. When we arrived at our home he even parked it for me in my spot since I was worried how to do it without the car staying on since the car was dead, oh so dead my poor car. He was seriously awesome, I ended the experience more calm and relaxed than I ever thought someone in my position could be. I really appreciated it.

It's a blessing to have such a an honest and trustworthy auto repair shop in the neighborhood! My minivan was broken last Friday. The AAA technician (the next door Freeway Towing, another great AAA certified service) came to check the van in no time. He said it ain't the battery problem but might be the starter issue. So I scheduled a repair service in Freeway Auto Inc. thru AAA website on Tuesday morning because it's just next door to the Freeway Towing. The truck came to my house to tow the van to the shop on time. The gentleman Luis quickly checked my van and called me when I was on the way home. He said just the connection of battery was loose and he won't charge me a dime. What a nice guy! I came back right away and again left my the other compact to him to check its light and gas pedal. Again he checked the car and replaced a taillight bulb with no charge. Now the car runs well! Nowadays it's so hard to find a professional car shop which you can trust. We should encourage these kinds of excellent small businesses to thrive!

When the technician srrived for battery replacement, he did not have the one for my car. He checked with other drivers but to no avail. Linda, the Freeway dispatcher/manager suggested I call AAA to have them check with their vendors for my specific battery. For some reason, none had the battery. I then called Linda, who told me she doesn't know what batteries will be delivered on next shipment, but she would reserve me one. Then I called AAA again requesting Freeway to jump my car. They came in 10 minutes, and I was taken care of with my new battery. The technician Luis was so polite and professional. Meantime, Linda offered me the best customer service, calling me several times until I got a replacement . If you live in Monterey Park, ELA, or surrounding areas, ask for Freeway Auto!

I want to appreciate the help I received from these two nice folks especially who helped me with my car breakdown yesterday. Samuel Ramirez and Luis Rodriguez. Samuel came over to help start the car with a jump and while that did not work he stayed with me till Luis came over to help tow the car to the mechanic shop which I also believe is owned/operated by Freeway towing. Overall great experience… nice friendly people and would highly recommend them if a need arises .

After waiting for almost an hour for a tow truck from this contracted company from AAA. The tow truck arrives with a trainee. Then they tell me will meet you at your house. I said I need to ride on the truck my car broke down. The tow truck driver informs me there's no room for me they will send another truck. I waited and waited for 3 hours. This tow company is horrible. Then I called AAA to send another company they only have certain companies working an area. They finally showed up after 4 hours.

If at all try to avoid using this company. Driver Carlos is rude and unprofessional. Manager Linda was just as bad. Carlos damaged my car and the tow company along with Honda Roadside did not take care of the damage. My car is new and damaged due to Carlos’s negligence.

My dad always said towing complains were scummy and he was right. My car was towed after the city didn’t even give a 24 hour notice to residents. As a new mom this was a cost I was certainly not expecting to pay. My kind mother in law offered to pay the feee and even though she was with me they refused to take her card, telling me I had to pay with a card that had my name. We ask them to just take it and the worker tells us “I don’t make the rules” okay fine. But then my husband overheard another customer asking to negotiate what he had to pay and the same worker tells him “let me ask and see.” Okay so you DO make exceptions to your rules. Ridiculous.

Communication is terrible. Car has been sitting there for days not being worked on. Doubled up the price due to lack of communication from the manager or whoever I spoke to. Recieved no phone calls on how my car is doing the last two days, it's always me calling to see even though they said they'll update me. There's no direct number to them which is frustrating. The ONLY reason I give it 2 stars instead of one is cause the mechanic was respectful. Maybe their service is fine but they need to work on communication cause now what they've done is wasted my time.

I had an awesome experience both times I received help from freeway towing. First time I needed a quick jump. Second time I needed a new battery. As the Driver was sent through Triple A(they work together but are completely separate companies), he was able to install a reasonably priced new battery. Problem solved in minutes. His quick arrival was also appreciated.
