Brought it in for repairs form a deer accident through our insurance. Won’t be using Ds for any future service. Kept getting estimates for the work that were wrong. There were two separate instances where the date past and I had to call to get updates. They were planning on giving us the car where the bumper didn’t fit correctly (poor mechanic/body worker). We got a call on the way to get the car that they would fix it and changed the entire weekend plans. Just doesn’t seem like a considerate or honest establishment. Not willing to take the initiative when things are falling behind to provide timely updates. Lastly we got the car back and a putrid smell of urine causing my wife to get sick from driving the car (coughing/eyes hurting/etc). My wife brought it back after she was told to and was yelled at by the same worker who did the body worker in the car. The manager talked to her in a more respectful way but they ended up finding that while Ds had the car a rodent sprayed urine all over the cabin air filter. They told us it wasn’t their responsibility (which is odd since they had possession of the vehicle during the time it happened). We ended up buying one and replacing it. Won’t recommend to anyone else to use based on customer service.

At first we were impressed by how quickly they could get my van in, but maybe that should have been a red flag. My husband brought my van home and didn’t really look it over, so when I went to put car seats back in I noticed it was filthy inside. Upon further inspection the bumper that had just been repaired had a chip of paint out of it on the opposite side that was fixed. So back it went. They cleaned up the inside somewhat and fixed the bumper. Now I was just cleaning the windows and am now seeing that there is paint overspray on one window really bad and some on another window. Definitely disappointed in the sloppy job.

Avoid this body shop! My car has been sitting there for over six months and still isn’t done. They are completely disorganized and unprofessional. Every time I call, nobody has answers just the same line the manager will call you back and she never does. No updates. No follow through. No respect for your time. I’ve never experienced worst service. If you value your car and your sanity, go somewhere else.

I've tried for a month to get a matching tail light for my truck each time I talked to someone it was idk someone will call u back. Never got a call back i even stopped in showed them which tail light it was. Suppose to of been ordered no one knows if it came in. It was suppose to of been In the 23 of jan. Still no call I called 3 times since then. No one even noticed they didn't match. I noticed in 2min of looking at it. I think a body shop should be able to tell. Im not happy.

I must say the ratings that D’s and the entire team deserves words or numbers could never express! I came to them with an insurance claim due to an accident for repairs to my truck and the work I received was flawless! This team of individuals really cares about not just their business but you and meeting your needs!!! These folks went above and beyond for me in ways that they didn’t have to just to insure me that the repairs were going to be done in a timely manner and done correctly! I also loved the fact that the communication was there the entire time so I didn’t have to wonder or question anything! I can’t be more pleased with my dealings with this company! I’ll forever be thankful and will always highly recommend! I will give them 100/10 any day!!

I was in the process of closing on a new house in Louisville, Kentucky and got rear-ended by some lady in town. The folks at D’s pulled out all the stops and managed to get my car done in two weeks (a week and a half ahead of schedule), so I wouldn’t have to make a return trip to Peoria to pick up the car. They were communicative, friendly, and very helpful. It’s not often that you feel like a business really cares about you as person. These guys did.

While in the end D’s went above and beyond to correct our concerns, the process was challenging. I felt like my concerns weren’t initially taken seriously, as the GM was defensive when I questioned the quality of the work. I had to bring it back and D’s did indeed fix the bumper, as it had not been installed correctly. We arranged for after hours pickup, and the car had a dead battery just an hour after they claim to have driven the vehicle. The battery was reinstalled despite going bad while with them. They did correct this by installing a brand new battery at no cost. But you get it, right? When they say your car is done, the last thing you expect is to pick it up and have to jump it, then find out they reinstalled a bad battery, then find out the work wasn’t completed correctly, then wait another 4 days before it’s actually ready. Overall a poor experience, despite the work eventually being satisfactory and the GM addressing all my issues and going above and beyond. If asked if I’d recommend, I’d tell this story. And let them decide. UPDATE: D's never called to schedule the installation of the 3M protective film, because apparently it was unavailable when the rest of the car was repaired. So here I am, several weeks later, I call D's, they tell me to call somewhere else to get it scheduled and that place will just invoice Ds. I said just refund me that money at this point. Melissa says she can't do that because they insurance already charged them. Huh? You just said the other place was going to invoice YOU!! So again, just another failure on their part. I will highly recommend that EVERYONE take their car somewhere else. What an awful experience that just continues to drag on. Also, when I asked for a refund Melissa raised her voice, cut me off, and explained all the "extras" she's done for me because they couldn't get things right. Again, NEVER take your car here. You've been warned.

This is in response to the note you wrote me after my review about your business. I rated your work as horrible. I just received a note to call you and speak with Mike as you can find no trace I was even there. This does not surprise me at all. Definitely a chaotic environment with terrible communications skills. I am looking at a cancelled check for 3505.13. Please don't have Mike call me or anyone from your business. Mike called me, said my car was done, and he would follow me up the street so I could return the rental. When I got out of the car, he said I couldn' t take it as the front drivers seat belt didn't work. I asked if it was test driven before I was called. His answer was," no, we're not allowed to drive cars off the lot." I have never been told that anywhere it was taken for repair, and called an autobody shop later and they just laughed at Mikes remark. So, I had to rent the rental for several more days, follow Mike back to D's repair and leave it there and drive 20 miles back home. This was frustrating as I just paid for 40 miles worth of gas, my time, and was lied to. No thank you. Don't have anybody from there call me or try and contact me. I don't need the problems.

I was rear ended a week before Christmas . It was considered minimal damage but still of course with today’s technology and everything - the repairs came out to about 6k . The day it happened , the at fault party’s insurance was phenomenal as was enterprise & D’s was on it calling me immediately to get me scheduled in . Once they did the estimate , I dropped my car off to them a week later . Once the insurance approved the estimate - my car was finished in a timely manner & it looks phenomenal! Michelle was awesome , super friendly , extremely informative about how everything worked , what needed fixed/replaced . She was great . Definitely would recommend this place . Honestly they may be a little higher priced than some others but you pay for the work you receive . They are worth it . My family’s been coming them for years & I will continue to do so as well if work is needed .
