Lan runs the place and he is a phenomenally fair and honest guy. I bring all of my 3 cars here as do many of my friends and most of my 8 workers. Dale transmission is a top notch auto repair shop. My best friend had his transmission rebuilt there 2 years ago; it is still running strong. Lans price on the Trainy rebuild was fair also.

Wish I had found this shop 10 years ago. I deliver pizza in st Paul and they have saved me literally several thousand dollars over the past couple of years. Completely honest and hard working. And there's just no way you can beat their prices. Can not recommend them highly enough.

Got the transmission fluid changed in my Jeep Patriot that has a CVT automatic. Is was wining and not driving good and after their service it was completely quiet. Zero whine at all and my car accelerates noticeably better/easier. Terrific work.

This is the best place in town to have your car fixed!!! very very very quick turn around (usually on the same day) even though they are super busy! The best thing about them is they are so friendly and honest about the maintenance work that has to be done and they offer the most competitive rates (a lot cheaper then most places)in town for high quality service! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

did a mediocre job and was a pain in the ass about fixing it. screwed up the clutch replacement twice in my Subaru. I spent $2,800 to have a car that I'm constantly worried might fall apart because I don't trust their work.

Top-notch service at excellent prices. I thought the transmission was shot. Dale's gave me by far the lowest quote to rebuild the transmission. Got a call from Dale's shop on Saturday morning, "Good news, turns out your transmission is fine, your drive shaft broke." They had already completed the repair and the bill was less than 1/5th what I had been quoted for a transmission rebuild. Very honest and trustworthy.

I have been using this place for several years now. Most honest individuals you will ever meet. To the jerk who gave them a One Star Review. Lan doesn’t pack a cell phone around with him. He is out there working with his team. He does things old school, with honesty and integrity at his shop. Today I brought my car in, no appt. He had all 3 bays full and was working on one at the side. He looked at my car. Showed me what was wrong. I asked if I could come another day. He said no, mine needed to be fixed Now. He pulled my car over to another spot on the side and they worked on it with a floor jack on a concrete floor in a non heated building. I had a front coil spring completely busted off. Lan really knows his business and he takes care of his customers. I would recommend Lan and his team over any other place I have ever gone. I have been driving 50+ years and have had many a mechanic. I drive 90+ miles now to take my car here.

Took my car there due to a knocking noise when I stepped on my brakes they explained and showed me the problem. I took it back a couple days later the problem was fixed they also showed me the parts that they took out to fix which were completely broke! I am completely satisfied with their work and recommend them if you need work done! The price was reasonable also! Great job!!! I will be going to them again for work on my car!

My car recently wouldn’t start even with a new battery so I reached out to Lan to see if he and his team could check it for me. He told me to come in the next day. I brought it in today at 9am and they had it fixed and running by noon. He offers fair price and only does the work needed. Will definitely be going here from now on for all my auto needs.

I brought my Honda Accord there had to do a transmission job on my car. But, forgot all my wires didn’t get plugged up my steering column buttons and cruise control wasn’t working. Now I have to take it back to them to get it figured out. But they did good job on my transmission tho!!

If you’re looking for a local, honest, affordable mechanic, this is absolutely the place. My car broke down (clutch broke) and I had it towed here, never having been here before. They repaired the clutch system and hydronic in a couple days for a fraction of what I was expecting, and she’s been shifting beautifully ever since. I will definitely be coming back for future issues. Honest mechanics are worth so much!
