CARELESS!! Failure to make a secure electrical connection left me stranded on interstate 94 with my daughter resulting in costly towing to the shop for a quick "free" fix. Then an incomplete coolant flush and replacement caused my car to overheat and unknown wear and tear. Fixed by adding 3 quarts of antifreeze. Found large socket wrench in engine compartment. Good thing it was large and heavy so it did not jump around where it might have gotten tangled in the timing belt or caused other engine damage. Tried to work with the shop to take some responsibility for some of the negligence but got no where. They should probably stick to tires. 4 new tires look good so far and have not fallen off (yet).

I’ve been using this location for over a decade to service my vehicle. They always do an excellent job, and I trust that they aren’t upselling me things I don’t need. Would definitely recommend.

Visiting the area and my car was having issues right before a long drive home. Alex was amazing. She was able to get the problem identified, order the parts, and had it ready to go in less than 24 hours. I can now safely drive home.

Joe W. was GREAT! He was able to work through the end of the day schedule with the techs and suggest a sensor be replaced before sending me out the door with new tires!! Wonderful, courteous, and determined to provide professional customer service at a reasonable price.

Mike provided great customer service. We had a good discussion on tire options, scheduling, and made sure the tires arrived in time for my vehicle to be completed that day.

I was so stressed after puncturing one of my already balding tires because I didn't know what kind to get. They did a great job walking me through my options. Abram was very helpful and did my oil and tire change. Very nice young man

We have used the Firestone on Ford Parkway to purchase tires, for alignment and brake work. We find them easy to work with and prices competitive with other places we’ve considered. Staff have been friendly and helpful.

I was extremely happy with the service, extremely happy with all the employees And extremely satisfied with management, her name is Alex. Everybody there was super helpful and explained everything to me in a way that I can understand. I was greeted and acknowledged as I walked in. Some places don’t make you feel welcome even in that little way. If I have any other issues, I will definitely come back to this particular branch on Ford Parkway. I’m extremely satisfied with the service and will recommend to everyone I know.

Scheduled an appointment for 9 am this morning, left my keys in the drop, which was my only option since the door was locked and the guy in a Firestone shirt was unable to acknowledge my existence. Apparently, if you leave your keys in between 8:36 and 9, when they open, it’s your fault and your appointment gets skipped. I called at 10:45 to check on the status of the oil change, they said they hadn’t seen my car or keys. I clearly hid the car by parking it in the first spot in the lot. Also, I was told I probably incorrectly put my keys into the drop box. Again, my fault. They said they’d call back and let me know if they found the keys. They didn’t, probably also my fault. I later found out it was after repeated call back, discovering that if you drop you keys between whenever they check them and when they open, it’s the customer’s mistake. I finally called back and they let me know they should be able to get it in today, which is great, except I needed it this morning, as I said in the appointment, on my drop box card and on the phone. I was note in line newtons several other vehicles. Upon arriving to pick up my car, I realized these vehicles would take a lot of time since they were the workers on the other side of the wall busy conversing. I waited a minute looking for the keys before reaching across the unattended counter to returned them. I grabbed them and left, considered if I should cut up my store card and leaving it on the counter (I didn’t). I apologize for trying to give Firestone my business this morning. Clearly my mistake. It’ll never happen again. (Photo of my invisible car for reference).

This is a review coming from a two day event. I needed my breaks fixed. I had made an appointment on line for 1 pm on Sunday. I arrived early but they seemed to not be ready for me so I ended up waiting tell three to get a quote. Their quote end up being more than 1500 dollars. The rear brakes were completely redone due to rust locking them up (car that sat outside half its life in Wisconsin and then Minnesota understandable). I also understand that parts and labor are expensive but I felt that they wanted me to spend more and more. Day one ended with me leaving the car to be fixed on Monday. The workers on Sunday were very kind and helpful and even worked with me to understand what is necessary to be done on the car. I only have one car and also did not have a ride home, so one of the works gave me one. This was awesome and I really appreciate his help. The problem came from day two, I had already made peace with the 1500 quote and with the nice workers from Sunday I was feeling good about the situation. On Monday however I got a call and asked what to go forward with just to double check. This is when they told me they wanted to replace my battery and air filters, which I will be doing myself cause then I don’t have to pay for the work I do. Also they were trying to get me to get the entire front breaks done, I did not and they said there would be sounds coming from the front cause of a rust lip on the rotor. There are none, hard for them to judge I understand but it just felt like they were pushing me to do it, so they can get more money. The workers on Sunday felt scummy and rude. It was a weird turn to the situation that makes me re think choosing Firestone. If my brakes were in better shape I’d probably would have tried to get a quote from another shop. I think Firestone is fine and my grandfather worked for them for a long time. It’s just sad to see a shift in worker atmosphere. Overall the work done is holding up, man if it doesn’t that’ll be terrible.

Joe is super helpful!! He really took the time to help me and make sure my car got exactly what I needed. Brought my car in for new tires. He recommended some fantastic tires and they were on my car within a few hours.

The staff are responsive and seem caring. They go above and beyond, including coming out to my car after the service to discuss the status of my tires. And all this when I paid nothing because my tires are on an extended warranty. I also got a number of checks included in the service. Much appreciated.

My latest work resulting from an unusual situation from the previous job. I felt like the staff were conscientious in investigating and resolving the problem. Because I'm not super confident in all matters involving my vehicle, this experience increased my trust in the staff and services at the Firestone Highland Park location. Although it was a bit of a pain, it left me feeling confident in continuing to have my vehicle serviced there. Thank you.

Mike and crew made time to quickly fit in a walk-in; we needed car looked at so we could travel home in ND. They performed a reset and daughter was on her way. Super appreciate their help and professional work. And they had all my information, though i live in another state, and they emailed me invoice and recommended other service. 5 stars!

Everyone was super friendly. The price ended up being less than what I was quoted at other places. They made sure that everything worked before I left. I had a issue with my battery, and I was able to get that taken care of as well. I had a diagnosis done for a short and they cut that in half.

This place is clearly ripping people off. Avoid at all costs. Wish there was a zero stars option. I booked an appointment to plug a tire. Showed up and they were super busy, but no big deal. When I got to the desk, the guy behind the counter said he wasn’t sure if he could fix it.?.?. He hadn’t even looked at my tire yet. He walked out and said he couldn’t fix it after looking at it. Then proceeded to tell me I needed 4 new tires. The vehicle has less than 25k miles on it. I said no way - that can’t be possible, and said I would look elsewhere. Clearly they were too busy for a tire plug, but wouldn’t have been too busy to replace my tires which didn’t need replaced. I went to the dealership today where I purchased the vehicle…. $45 bucks to fix, and they said my tires are in great shape. Again- This place is clearly ripping people off. Avoid at all costs.

I had a low air pressure alert on one tire. Was just leaving town and zipped into Firestone to see if I could get air in my tire. I was welcomed so kindly by both employees. Jordan told me to pull my car up to first bay and he’d put the air in. Then he saw/pointed out that it was a big screw in my tire and when I asked if it could be fixed he said they could probably squeeze me in right then. Also explained why still safe to fix due to how far away the screw was from the edge. Not long after I was back on my way headed out of town - 1 tire fixed and the remaining 3 all topped off. Friendly, helpful, and more than reasonable charge for the service . I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
