Matt at Hyundai was truly amazing to work with. After totaling my previous car, I really needed a replacement quickly, and he made it a priority to get me into a new car as smoothly and efficiently as possible. He was patient, communicative, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire process, making what could have been a very stressful situation feel manageable. Matt stayed on top of every detail and made sure I felt supported from start to finish. I’m extremely grateful for his help and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great Hyundai experience.

We bought our first ever Hyundai, the 2025 Pallisade Calligraphy Night on 09/29/2025. There was a recall on the vehicle so they gave us a 2026 Pallisade as a loaner. Excellent strategy... got a sale booked while other dealerships balked on it. When our vehicle was ready, they called us to pick it up on 11/4/2025. Unfortunately, that's where the good things ended. Once the vehicle was sold, they didn't care much. In all our car buying experiences, someone took time to go over the vehicle and its features. Here none! The person who completed the final car pickup had no knowledge. Any question we asked, he said need to talk to someone else. We took our car and left. Also, the attitude when we went to pick up the car was - dismissive ( or rather, didn't feel warm welcome). Not even ask do you need anything? Water perhaps? During sales they spoke a lot about Bluelink but once sale was done - no one explained how that works, what we need to do or what features are native and what features need Bluelink subscription. A few minor things dealers can do to make the experience better: * All dealerships provides at least full tank of gas when you pickup the car. In both occasions (both brand new), that was absent in our case. In fairness, the sales manager did say that he will give a full tank when we go for the first service. However, I doubt, we will go there, or if we do, we will see him. * Most dealership would throw at least a keychain with the key. Mostly for their advertisement but still... * Usually some swag or something is provided gratis.... - None of the above is required nor we want it but just suggestions to the dealership So Presales - excellent, Post Sales - Could care less!

I have had nothing with trouble with this dealership from the very beginning. We bought a brand new car from this dealership after having a horrible experience last time with the service department, because they promised us that things had changed and we would not have problems again. Including them leaving the sunroof open in the pouring rain and messing up that cars interior. My only mistake was believing them. It is the same situation once again. I called to schedule my routine service and get a loaner car, I was told by the lady at the service department that my service was ‘not a priority’ so I was not able to receive a loaner car. I requested to speak to a manger that morning and was sent to his voicemail. After 2 more voicemails to the manager that day (actually being sent to voicemail by him because the woman on the phone confirmed to me that we was sitting in his office) about the issue I finally got through to him and it was a sob story about how all their loaner cars were taken by another dealership so it would be a few weeks for one for my service, and the ladies at the desk would call me to schedule. Here we are 3 months later, countless phone calls to the service department and never getting through, and having to leave messages, I still have not received a call back regarding a service for my brand new car, and my check tire pressure lights will not turn off. My father has even called multiple times and spoken to a receptionist who said she would have someone call us and NOTHING. This dealership does not care about you unless you are buying a car, but don’t expect any help after that. If I could give 0 stars I would, there is no care at all here.

My salesperson Jessica was amazing! She showed me every detail and feature of my car and made sure I understood everything. She was so kind and genuinely sweet. Anthony Walker in finance was also great—he went through every step with me and made me feel completely comfortable and confident with my purchase. A big thank you to managers Jesus and Andre for helping me pick the perfect car. I’m beyond happy with my purchase and overall experience!

We came all the way from Stamford just to work with Cassandra and Anthony! They made it possible to help us upgrade to our dream car. Cassandra is so nice, patience and honest. She completely took her time with us and showed us options that we could afford. Anthony in finance was also very honest and got us the best deal ever. It’s such a pleasure to work with both of them and we cannot wait to receive our new car. Five stars!!!

Just bought my first car from here. Victor was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and upfront about everything! Randolfo was super welcoming and helpful when it came to the financial aspect of the process. Both were able to answer all my mom’s grilling questions, which is a feat! Thank you Hyundai Danbury!!!

I have been associated with Hyundai of Danbury since October of 2011. My first purchase of a Hyundai was in NY State because that is where I was working and that made it more convenient for service and oil changes. Well that job ended and I, living in Sherman, Ct, chose Danbury Hyundai as my dealership and am so glad that I did! They have been nothing short of the best automobile dealership that I have ever dealt with at 72 years old. I have dealt with them all. Honda, Dodge, Chevrolet, International, Mazda and Saturn and these people just leave all of the others in their dust! I have always said that anyone can sell you a car, but the real test is the service after the sale. These people are just the best. I have proof. They have always handled regular maintenance but the real test was when as things can happen and you never know when this could be, my Sonata 2011 that I bought in NY State decided to have the transmission die right in my driveway. Had it towed to Hyundai of Danbury and they took it right in, gave me a loner or a paid for rental, I don’t remember which but within a week I had a brand new transmission @ 36,000 miles and I was back and running. Never cost me a dime. They were just so accommodating in every way. Service department is top notch. In October of 2015 we went there to purchase a new car for my wife. The sales people put her in a Hyundai Elantra Gt Hatchback which has been pretty much trouble free, we still own it as of 2025, has 120,000 miles and still is just so reliable. Never any issues at all. We now live in Florida and New Port Richey is our dealership and they are a carbon copy of Danbury Hyundai! Same great personal service. Absolutely love them. They have come through in the worst of times for me and never let me down. One time driving my Sonata to Florida I was 50 miles from my destination and developed a problem with my Sonata. I stopped because of a check engine light and the oil was barely touching the dip stick. Luckily I had a trunk full of oil so I added oil, called New Port Richey, Explained my situation and the took me right in, put me in front of the line, diagnosed a crack in my oil pan, got me a rental and had me on my way the next day. Roxanne Curral is still to this day my service advisor and one time when my turbo needed replacement during the Covid thing they were nowhere to be found so Hyundai took my car for 3 months, paid for a rental for the whole period and then when one came in for a customer who was getting a whole new engine and turbo and the engine had not come in but the turbo had, they put me again in front and gave me that new turbo to get me back in my own car. You just can’t beat Hyundai’s service. Never cost me a penny. So on August 28,2025 my daughter Hannah was just desperate because her car completely broke down with some serious problems. It was a Nissan Altima and couldn’t be driven after 3 separate diagnoses. I advised her to take a day and go from Stamford to Danbury and give them a chance . She is so happy that she took my advise because she met with sales advisor CHRIS COCO, and he had the perfect car lined up to show her. Now Hannah is deaf and hears with Cochlear implants which can be a challenge, but her experience with Chris was nothing short of sensational and it was a long day, Hannah works for herself so getting her credit was a challenge but Chris did it, and he was calm, understanding as were the financial people and they managed to take the broken car off her hands, paid it off and worked it into the payments on her new 2020 Santa Fe. She is now the sole owner of a new car, on her way to establishing greta credit and has a car that she is just so happy with all thanks to Chris Coco and Steve the General Manager of this dealership. I don’t know what else I can say about just how competent this dealership is along with Hyundai in general. I will certainly never own any other type of vehicle and I thank them from the bottom of my heart for all of their help and kindness. William F. Records

Luis Rondon is the guy to ask for. He helped me find my perfect vehicle and the financing team helped me work it out so it was in my budget. Luis was incredibly patient, thorough, and friendly to work with. He made an otherwise stressful situation enjoyable in the end. Thank you Danbury Hyundai!

I have purchased, not leased, 4 vehicles from Danbury Hyundai, and all have been very positive experiences. My most recent purchase on January 31st, 2026 was for a Certified Used 2025 Hyundai Sonata Limited. My salesman was Courtney D, and he was absolutely great, as was the Finance Manger, Randolfo. Both were very helpful, professional and understood what I was looking for, and where I wanted to be financially. We were able to close the deal seamlessly with no stress. If you are looking for a new or used vehicle, I would recommend this dealer, as well as the two gentlemen that helped me out, Courtney and Randolfo.

I had an excellent experience working with Nancy Laramie at Danbury Hyundai. From start to finish, she made the entire process of purchasing my 2026 Tucson Hybrid smooth, stress-free, and even enjoyable. Nancy was knowledgeable, patient, and never pushy. She took the time to answer all of my questions, explain the features of the Tucson Hybrid in detail, and made sure I felt completely comfortable with my decision. I truly appreciated her professionalism and transparency throughout the process. Car buying can sometimes feel overwhelming, but Nancy made it easy and straightforward. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle. Thank you, Nancy, for such a positive experience — I love my new Tucson Hybrid

I would not recommend Danbury Hyundai to anyone. My engine failed unexpectedly at just 50,000 miles. I brought my vehicle there expecting transparency and professionalism. Instead, I was contacted by a service representative who told me I needed extensive additional work done. Trusting their expertise, I approved it. I later discovered the paperwork had been falsified and the information I was given was untrue. This was all documented through text and email and escalated to Hyundai Corporate. After review, I was issued a refund because the claims were deemed invalid. The problems continued. When I picked up my vehicle after service, I was allowed to leave with a broken stabilizer and hazardous fumes entering through my AC system. Within 24 hours, the vehicle had to be towed back. I was later told a part had been installed incorrectly and that they did not realize the stabilizer was broken. When I picked the car up again, it had a noticeable knocking and jerking sensation while driving. I was told everything was fine. I specifically expressed concern that it felt like a transmission issue and was reassured there was nothing wrong. Four months later my check engine light came on. I brought the vehicle to Torrington Hyundai, and they informed me there was oil throughout the engine area and that it appeared related to the motor replacement done by Danbury Hyundai. Torrington Hyundai declined to handle it because of the prior work performed, and I was forced to bring the vehicle back to Danbury Hyundai again, where transmission issues were ultimately addressed. After another pickup, while reinstalling my children’s car seats, I noticed exposed wiring hanging from under the driver’s seat. When I contacted the dealership and spoke with Chris, I was told that during detailing the airbags may have been unplugged. That explanation was extremely concerning. I repeatedly asked to speak directly with the owner so he would be aware of what was happening, as I was not receiving meaningful help from management and no one would provide me with his contact information. I did email the individual listed online as the owner, but I believe that may have been a previous owner, as I never received any response. I have photos, emails, and text messages documenting all of this. Today, when returning the loaner vehicle, I was told there were two small scratches and that they would either open a claim with my insurance or charge me 1,600 dollars. TWO private body shops quoted the damage closer to 250 dollars and stated it was nowhere near a 1,600 dollar repair. When I originally picked up the loaner, it already had multiple visible scratches, which I documented in writing on their paperwork at pickup. I am now waiting for a manager to call me to come to a “resolution” because they want me to pay out of pocket or go through my insurance for two small scratches that can literally be buffed out. I would genuinely be interested to know how much they charged the previous person who had this loaner vehicle for the multiple scratches covering it, especially considering the visible damage was never repaired. This entire experience has been exhausting and stressful. I have been advised that I would have grounds to pursue legal action due to the documented negligence, but I chose not to because I did not want additional stress for me or my family but at this point, it might be what I have to do. The only positive experience I had was with Marvin in the service department, who was consistently professional and respectful. Customers deserve honesty, safety, and accountability. Unfortunately, that was not my experience Attaching photos at bottom but it won’t let me attach them all.

I purchased a 2026 Hyundai Palisade Hybrid from Danbury Hyundai on November 12, 2025. My sales person, Jessica Tenezaca, was absolutely wonderful. She was completely transparent throughout the whole sales process. She was always responsive to my texts/phone calls. The sales team gave me a more than fair price on my trade-in and showed they really wanted to work with me to get the exact vehicle I wanted. Even the process of signing the paperwork with the finance manager was fast and efficient. I never felt pressured to purchase anything that I didn't want as part of the deal. I would wholeheartedly recommend this dealership if you are looking to purchase a new Hyundai.
