★☆☆☆☆ When I called the number on the website and a lady picked up the phone saying it was Wright's automotive service. When I asked to clarify if this was Dave's Automotive Service, she got an attitude. I then asked if they did oil changes if I supplied my own oil and they said they would do it only if they supplied it. Way to make a first and last impression. Needless to say I didn't schedule any service for my truck.

★★★★★ Finding a honest mechanic you can trust is difficult when moving to a new city. When my wife and I moved to Atlanta my wife’s car needed some work and luckily someone referred Dave’s Automotive Services. We were extremely pleased. I was out of town for work so she dropped off her car and Dave took her to the Chamblee Marta Station. She went to Lenox Mall and did some shopping. When her car was ready he called to let her know and she took the Marta back to the Chamblee Station and Dave picked her up. Recently my truck was running so poorly, I thought I was going to get stranded. I called Dave and he said to bring it up or offered to have it towed for me if I didn’t think I could make it to his shop. I was able to make it and he diagnosed the problem. He told me what would it would cost and how long it would take. I didn’t get to go shopping, but was able to work in the lobby using the wireless internet while I waited. When I settled up, it was exactly what he quoted me. He didn’t try to sell me additional services I didn’t need. I even asked if I needed brakes and after inspecting them, he told me they were fine. In past experiences, other mechanics always say yes’ “you need this and you need that, bla… bla ..bla..” I would definitely recommend Dave’s Automotive Service. If you have automotive needs this is the company you want to call. Pros: honest, affordable, complimentary wireless internet in the lobby, professional, friendly staff and prompt Cons: not a one
