Recently moved to Virginia and needed to get a state inspection. I called multiple other places and Davis Car Care was the only place that was friendly. I called around noon on a Friday expecting to be told to make an appointment for at least a week out. Instead the lady on the phone asked me if I could get my truck there by 3:30pm. I got my truck there and it only took 30 minutes. I heard horror stories about other places taking an entire day for an inspection. Theo at the front desk was very polite and answered my questions about their maintenance recommendations. I didn’t feel like I was being pushed to spend money or scammed. This kind of treatment seems rare in America today. I will absolutely be going back to Davis for future service on my truck and am recommending them to my colleagues at work. Thank you.

This was my first time taking my car to Davis Car Care. Scheduling my appointment was super easy. I dropped off my car the night before and received a text the next morning updating me on the progress. I was able to choose which recommended services I wanted and Docusign all from my phone. They were very transparent by sending me photos and videos, which i appreciated. When I was notified that my car was ready, my In-person experience was very pleasant. When I got to my car there was a small gift bag of Halloween candy sitting on my passenger seat. 😍 I will definitely bring my car back!

I haven’t had a service done by them yet, waiting on claim from person at fault to come through. The came highly recommended from several people, and I have been in talks with them for a few months and have been by for opinions a couple times. Everyone here is so nice and so helpful. The work I’ve seen on other vehicles always looks so good.

Brakes were done and spark plugs today. I had my inspection done last year…loved how I was treated so I came back today. Easy to make an appointment, and get the work done. No pressure, always polite, and professional. Car was done same day when the competition couldn’t guarantee time or had the time to discuss the needed work. My cars old, they still washed and vacuumed it!!! I will always come back to Davis Care Care!!!

After a simple google search I located your business. I called and was told I could come in immediately for a State Inspection. That was great because everyone was booking two weeks out and wanted my care for the entire day. Once I arrived at the shop, the service assistant Theo, was very courteous and polite. My inspection was done while I waited in the warm and comfortable lounge and within a 1/2 hour it was done. I had passed! Service recommendations were discussed with me. At no point did I feel any sales pressure or upscale tactics. Theo was just a great employee that took his time and gave me all my options. Thank you for such a wonderful experience and I’m definitely your customer now!!!

Update 9/3/2025- Davis Car Care went ABOVE and BEYOND to make everything right with what happened with my vehicle. First they took my car to their detail shop to try and get the coolant stains out of the radiator shroud but couldn’t. They refunded me the full amount for the coolant flush and ordered me a new radiator shroud which got replaced today. Joanne and Tracey working the front desk were phenomenal dealing with, and made sure I was satisfied! Definitely gained a customer for sure! Customer was 100% satisfied!

Update: This is my second visit to Davis Auto Care. Repair items: Two control arms, and seals were noticed during the initial inspection. This repair was planned; however, a broken motor mount and drive shaft issue were newly discovered. After an Alignment, All repairs were completed in one day! Considering the Complexity of all repairs, the fee was reasonable. It drives so smoothly that it feels like a new SUV! Thank you, Tracy. I continue to recommend Davis Car Care. Inspection time: As a walk-in customer, I was greeted and treated very professionally. Considering their workload, I was in and out in an hour. There is a waiting area with coffee. I was kept informed by text message. I would definitely recommend Davis Car Care.

Given an unexpected tow, this was my first time at Davis Car Care but definitely not my last! It’s very easy to see why they have outstanding reviews . With attention to detail in diagnosing/repairing issues and pointing out future concerns, their costumer service is a breath of fresh air . Theo, especially, went above and beyond in making sure I was clear and satisfied with the work needing to be done before committing. He took the extra time in finding a solution to a critical part that was no longer in production. I never felt pressured and thoroughly appreciated all repair recommendations, both critical and maintenance . Always welcomed with warm smiles, I could sense the team really enjoyed their work. Furthermore: 10% military discount. Avoided the 3% credit card processing fee by paying cash or check . 3 year / 36,000 mile warranty on repairs- about as long as intend to keep my 2008 van :)

5 stars! I have been coming to Davis auto for over 5 years for all of my car issues! From new headlights, oil changes, tire repairs, they have always taken care of me. More fair than any Toyota dealership and always offer a military discount, i choose them every time. I’ve sent friends here with other brands and they are consistent and trustworthy every time. I cannot say enough about the experience I had today. I made an appointment 20 minutes ahead of time for a state inspection and they had me out of there in an hour and a half including one repair that had to be done. They offered me other services, but we’re not pushy. My front seat floor mat was vacuumed out and when I got into my car, there was a little bag of candy and a nice keychain. You don’t get this kind of customer service these days. I highly recommend this shop and I will be back for sure!!
