charged me $50 to take a tire off to inspect a brake squeal I informed him about. he messed with the auto adjuster and didn't even bother to check his work. the brake is still squealing. never coming back. oil changes and inspections. that's about all that seems the comments say are good.

Before you bring your vehicle here for service, please see the true reviews from real customers on YELP. Also notice the unprofessional responses from this business owner. His own words says it all. 👎🏽 stay away. This shop will be brought to light.

When my vehicle became disabled after closing hours. It was taken to DCP with a note explaining the vehicle condition. The following day without hesitation DCP identified the problem as a Professional. The work was completed in a day and the vehicle performed better than I had expected.

I had a check engine light on my vehicle. Went to DCP Auto repair shop. The gentleman came out and looked at my vehicle and explained to me what was wrong with my SUV. Said up front that my issue could be from different issues. I was truly happy with that. He did the repair and I am satisfied with the work and it was less time to fix then what was said on my first visit. I will be back for any issue I may have with my vehicle.

Highly recommended establishment. I come here all the time for anything that is wrong with my vehicle. The mechanic here is so reliable and very polite. Even if a light bulb is out on my car he will change it with no problem. I will be returning to this repair shop only. Very trustworthy mechanic.

Awesome service!! Drove in for an oil change on Thursday 3/12/2020 which was long overdue. He explained the Importance of getting timely oil changes. I was amazed at the professionalism and expertise. Dameon pointed out where my breaks were worn and waring on the rotors. I was able to get them replaced then and there. And get a new battery. I drive a lot and do mostly highway driving so having a well maintained vehicle is important. Thanks DCP Auto my car felt brand new when I drove off.

This shop quoted me $3100 for front end work when I only came in to inspect a squeaking noise. I took my truck to Mavis and they found out it was my lower control arm. All Mavis did was grease it up through a grease fitting and the noise went away. So much with honesty with this shop.

took my car here after it essentially broke down on the highway and my check engine light was flashing, only because i could not drive the car far enough to go to my dealership’s service area. repair guy seemed like he cared & told me he could fix it no problem. 1st red flag was that he wanted payment prior to the service. i picked up my car, drove my car on the highway and the problem came back, so i returned the car. he ”fixed” it again, but once i drove the car the problem returned yet again. i came back for a third time, hoping the $4,000 i spent wasn’t all for nothing, but he wanted to charge me another thousand to “fix” something that was not the root of the problem. when i declined and requested my keys back, he then told me i could order “the part” elsewhere and he would install it for free - again, a part that was not needed. long story short, i needed a new engine, and he was “fixing” little things that did not necessarily need fixing. was super disappointed as engines are very pricey & i had already thrown 4k down the drain for nothing.

happen to be driving by, i have a 1993 honda accord which requires a safety inspection as per nys law. this bozo says my muffler is illegal. what a joke! guy is an older man so probably does not know cars of this age are exempt from emissions as per nys inspection law. sir you need to retire if you do not know simple laws regarding inspections that you should if you are going to perform them. a cars muffler has nothing to do with “safety as long as it’s below required decibels. went down the block got it done for 11.00 dollars in 3 mins. pretty sure the person at dcp was looking for a “tip”. if i had read the reviews before i would have never let this guy even touch my car. you should know crooked mechanics when they respond to a truthful review with “ thank you for your review”. tons of misdiagnoses on cars to milk people out of money for unnecessary repairs! you should be ashamed of yourself

My daughter was there to fix the sensor charge like over $230.00. After like a week engine lites was still on so we went back cause he probably but the wrong piece to save money and we have to wait till the piece gets deliver we waited like an hour and a half. Anyway finally we finish at the end he didn’t even apologize that we had to go backs again to correct his mistakes and for waiting. I gave 2 ⭐️ just for the job. He need to communicate and be more out spoken with the customer more. Later.☀️

This shop is a fraud. Do not use. They bought an engine, overheated it and then claimed we sent them a bad engine. They cannot be trusted

Came here to get a NYS inspection. Dee showed us that the condition of our rotors and break pads were a danger for driving. We ultimately got them replaced and only waited a short period of time. I was very happy with the service. We will be returning.

Car: 2004 Subaru Impreza TS - Blue. I came to this shop after noticing that they do NYS Inspections while my car was getting washed at Suds across the street. I only had a few weeks left and knew it had to get done. I called in advance to see if the shop had availability for a walk-in. They did. Upon pulling up to the shop and turning off the car, I noticed that the owner of the shop had to turn on the car a few times before finally getting it into the shop. Something that was completely unexpected. With a serious face, he told me and my wife ‘You guys need a tune-up!’ Me and my wife knew about the extra cranking/grinding noise as we turned on the ignition for several months but have disregarded it as we thought it being an ‘old car’ thing. It was complete neglect on our end. He opened up the hood and noticed that while the spark plug wires are new, the starter/solenoid is going bad or is bad. He said we need it to get it changed as soon as possible otherwise the car will shut down while driving. We have a EJ251 Engine and the owner smiled. He said that he appreciates working on engines like this because they are so easy to work on. Saving money on labor costs. While we passed the inspection, upon exiting the shop, the car no longer wanted to turn on. No matter how many times we tried, we couldn’t get it running. I ran back in and informed the owner about it. He ran outside, back to the car and was able to get the car running enough to put it in reverse and park it back into the shop before it shut off permanently. That’s when he told me and my wife the unfortunate news that the starter/solenoid is done. Parts needed to be ordered and repair was necessary. With parts and labor, he quoted us a little over $1,000 dollars. I cringed but me and my wife agreed to split it down the middle evenly and knew that it needed to get done. We left the car at the shop on Monday and the car was ready by Wednesday afternoon. In conclusion, we were nervous about leaving the car at the shop because there are so many car repair shops that are shifty, suspicious and greedy. Me and my wife have bad PTSD and have a difficult time looking for a good honest mechanic. Albeit a tad bit expensive repair, the car is running phenomenal and the owner of the shop was kind, understanding but also firm. We appreciate the work that he has done to the car and have no issues. Side note: It is unclear if the owner of the shop is ok with customer buying parts themselves online and brining it to the shop for just labor work only. A lot of shops refuse to work on cars when customers buy parts themselves

Professional service. Reasonable price Stopped in for a state inspection and an oil change. I regret not getting the fellow’s name who worked there bit he was courteous and really knew what he was doing. The oil change was a reasonable price. Even for my hybrid which requires full synthetic. Highly recommend this garage.
