**EDITED** The shop owner himself reached out to understand the issues better and come to an understanding. He understood my disappointment and made sure i understood this was not the norm and it would not happen again. This speaks volumes for a shop to reach out and make sure I was happy with their service. I’ve wrenched on cars for a living and as a hobby for years. I replaced my own tie rods and needed to have the car aligned. I don’t have the rack for that and needed to a shop that would do it. This business came highly rated. I noticed after I picked the car up, that the steering would not turn as sharp as I knew it should. The next weekend, I got under the car to see that they never adjusted the tie rod boots and just left them twisted like crazy. This not only damages the boots but then they will rip and let dirt in. This then ruins the brand new joints. That is a basic knowledge item for wrenching on cars. This is why behave low trust for most shops. They did a poor job on a basic service. I made sure to take pictures of it all to document it.

Made an appointment 2 weeks in advance and told them I would have to wait on my car when I made the appointment to have my alignment and ac looked at. I got there 40 minutes after they opened and was told they won't be able to work on it today since I have to wait on it and it would be 2 days until they can get to it. They should have told me that when I made the appointment because I can't leave my car.

Great customer service. Took my son's car there. The owner was visible at drop off and pickup, so he's hands on. The gentleman that works in the office is very nice, and Garry quoted me the repairs and kept me updated every step of the way!

Wasn't really a lot of experience with Dennis Johnson Auto except a diagnostic test. Great information and service. Unfortunately the recently purchased truck from the local scammer from Southern Comfort auto now 1 stop auto. 9000 cash for a lemon no swap, refund, anything but asking me for more money to fix it. Dennis Johnson Auto did what I paid for not there fault why I had to hire them.

I absolutely LOVE this business, been coming back year after year for minor and major services on my vehicles. And they always find a way to make it cheaper than initially expected. Not even upset about the discontinued Military Discount because they provide absolutely phenomenal service in a timely manner. I always recommend them to any friend or stranger that talks about car problems. If I was a mechanic, this is the shop I'd like to work at. Just outstanding work ethics and customer service.

My name is Caleb Sanders and I pride myself on being honest with people in everyday life. In this situation, I was extremely honest about my vehicle and what I planned on doing once I was told that a new engine would cost 6-10k. I spoke with around 3 people. Gavin, Gary, and the owner Dennis Johnson. They proved to be dishonest with me and failed to tell me some key things about trying to sell my car to salvage for parts. 1. I was informed that people come by and put bids on the vehicle. I was given the impression that I was to meet a person at the shop and perform the sale then. I waited 30-40 minutes before Gavin came back and told me that a wholesaler would be purchasing. They begin to write me a check on the wholesalers behalf.DISHONEST and SKETCHY. 2. The agreed upon sale was $200. As I went to receive payment, I was told that I needed to pay $113 for the scan that was performed on the engine. (I was not informed of this before) so $133 was deducted from the sale. I WOULD HAVE PAID IT BEFOREHAND BEFORE ASKING THEM TO PUT OUT ESTIMATES FOR THE CAR. This left me with $86.60. 3. Gavin informed me that I had spoken with others which was true I spoke to several of workers there at the desk. However, no one told me that I owed money from the scan. Not once. NOT EVER. 4. I hope this helps someone because this is quite frankly the worst company I have done business with. I’m rating this 1 star because I was the only honest person in the room.

Was not impressed, took them a week to look at my car. Told me to bring it in and they'd look at my car on Friday....a week later still had not looked at it. Took over two days to then get an idea what was wrong but never called with an estimate. I had to call to get any information out of them. Ended up just picking up my car and go somewhere else.

My family and I have used Dennis Johnson auto repair for multiple vehicles. There are jokes people like to make like- “You can’t find an honest mechanic”. I took my Ram 1500 in fairly certain it had an exhaust manifold issue. They checked into it and told me there wasn’t an issue. Didn’t charge me a diagnostic fee. I was floored. Very kind and knowledgeable staff.
