I’ve used this shop twice to service my 06 Ram 2500. Both times they were very helpful and did the work with a quick turnaround time. While they have your truck they call and update you along the way, which is great when you need to plan your work schedule around your truck. The first trip there they replaced my Vacuum pump on my exhaust brake, a month later the part semi failed ( at no fault of the shop) I called and let them know the issue and they fit me right in and replaced the part for free. I recommend Diesel Performance Specialist and will continue to go there in the future.

If I could rate Diesel Performance Specialist six out of five stars, I would. When the air conditioning in my 1999 Ford F250 Super Duty started acting up, I brought it to Diesel Performance Specialist. They quickly diagnosed the problem, provided a clear quote, and had everything repaired within 48 hours. I was truly impressed by their excellent customer service and friendliness. I’m thrilled to know that Diesel Performance Specialist can handle any future needs for my truck, and I’ll definitely be coming back for all my truck services from now on.

I’m very thankful for the guys working here and the knowledge they have. I have a ram 2500 diesel that had a coolant leak and I took it to local shops in my area and none of them could figure out where the leak was coming from, long story short I brought my truck the Diesel performance and they found the problem and fixed it, feels good to have my truck back to normal and strong, everyone at the shop is professional and knowledgeable about diesel trucks, I will definitely be back if any other problems come up. Very disappointed with my experience here as I planned on doing a lot of upgrades on my 3rd gen ram I just bought. Wanted to get all fluids drained and refilled, complete all maintenance items, and AC was not blowing cold so wanted to get repaired. Made appointment and dropped off the day before. Called in day of appointment to check in and spoke to David. He said they were actually just starting to look at truck around 10am and he would let me know what's going on with AC and give me pricing. I called again at 3pm and David said they still hadn't looked at it. He then called me 5 minutes before they close, and told me I'd need to replace the compressor because it failed electronically and condenser and they there was no leaks. He then changed that to "well there might be a leak" and quoted me over $2500. He didn't bother to touch or address or give me pricing on any of my other concerns, and essentially just wasted the day by letting my truck sit there. I get things are busy, but I had an appt and he told me they were starting in the morning. I picked up my truck this morning and had David whining that he did everything right even tho my experience was terrible with him. I pulled my truck into another shop and they immediately found that there was a large leak causing the system to empty itself completely almost immediately. They also explained to me that if the system was empty, the compressor would never come on. So essentially David was either trying to screw me out of $2500 without even fixing the problem, or he was completely inept and they never even tested it. Either way, I'm glad I trusted my gut and went elsewhere. I'm really upset at this experience. I'm sure the techs and the shop are good at fixing things, but David has lost all the confidence from me to use them. Tommy seemed really great and he was apologetic for David's incompetence. If you pull into this shop and see David, just ask for someone else or try another shop if he's the only one there, since that is the excuse he kept giving me for his poor service. UPDATE: Went to another shop and within hours they had the AC system fixed for $400

Very professional shop. Communicated everything needed for my truck that was critical verse discretionary. Cleaned up inside my truck after extensive service on about $14k worth of different systems in my 2016 Ram 2500 with 153k miles. Haven’t done much to this truck for service thus far other than what’s recommended so it was time to get some things handled. While they aren’t the cheapest in town, they clearly take their time, don’t cut corners, and pride themselves on quality work. I prefer to pay a little more and actually get higher quality work as opposed to paying more and getting poor workmanship. Had my entire coolant and heating system serviced and replaced, air bag compressor in the back for my air ride system, gear box for steering, EGR valve and thermostat. Highly recommend

I had previously taken my 2020 F250 Super Duty to 2 other shops for steering issues. I spent a couple thousand dollars trying to get the steering right with little success. It was very frustrating and costly. I found this shop on Google and decided to give them a shot since they specialize in diesel trucks. I dropped it off on a Thursday and it was ready on Friday morning. The cost was a higher than I had expected but not outrageous. After driving it home I quickly realized it was worth it. After a year of failed attempts to make my truck drive right, they have fixed it! My truck drives better than it ever has and I feel safe driving my family in it. Thank you DPS for your great work!

Diesel Performance Specialists were a life saver. I did not have an appointment with them. I drove from my house to another appointment located in the same parking lot as their business. Once I arrived, my car started to produce heavy steam from my hood. One of their technicians offered to look at my car. Not only were they able to diagnose the issue quickly, but they had the problem fix by the end of the day. Their professionalism and service has gained a new customer!

It takes serious service (or a lack thereof) for me to take the time to write a review, and David and his crew have earned a 5-Star review hands down. Nice folks, welcoming, and professional. They were amazingly helpful in diagnosing an issue my truck’s dealership kept blowing off and one they hadn’t even identified yet! These guys are the best diesel shop ive dealt with hands down. I own a duramax and had them work on it a couple times. There always quick to get my truck on a tow truck, and working on it. They are quick to get it back up and going. The staff is very is helpful. **** I was down in rocklin looking at a job for our company, and ended up getting our pickup stuck. I couldn't get AAA to come quick enough to get me out. So I reached out to these guys who were 10 min away from me. (Mind you they are a diesel shop, not recovery lol) They came out anyways and yanked me out. Thats customer service!! They wouldn't accept a tip either. These guys will forever have our business!
