I have been coming here for years and love DNZ Automotive. They keep my 20 year old Xterra in great shape. One experience I had when my car broke down on 17th Street. I had it towed. There was nothing wrong with my car said George the manager....a screw became loose. That was it. How many car repair shops would do that? I just had an oil change and DNZ added a nice waiting room....TV....comfortable furniture...coffee....a phone charger...etc. Love this place.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! EXCELLENT SERVICE! QUICK! HONEST! Ok, let's just preface this by saying I am a single mom who doesn't take very good care of her car - I could easily be taken advantage of and probably never know it. I first went to Econo Lube - not knowing they were also a full service mechanic - because I needed a 60K mile service done quickly prior to a road trip with the kids. I was going to get the service done and then go back to my former mechanic. Well, I was so happy with their service that I have continued to go back there for the past 2 years and have never been disappointed. They did a better job than who I was using previously and they earned my business. So you ask how do I know that I wasn't taken advantage of? My ex-H took a look at all the bills prior to another road trip - just to make sure everything was up to date and he was impressed by how thorough they were without doing extras and according to him the prices were "better than fair". I would recommend this place to anyone. Engin - Yes, that's his real name, is awesome.

Absolutely love this shop! The owner is very hands on and takes care of us well. Very good at prioritizing when there is multiple issues and is honest. Just last week he was looking at our Caliber and told me it was due for a transmission service. When he looked at it he said the fluid was still super clean and we could wait another month if we wanted to. Highly recommend this shop!

Took my older truck in with a severe oil leak, and others having told me how much it would cost just to diagnose the problem. The staff at DNZ treated me great, looked over my issue, and provided me an initial diagnosis quickly and free of charge. I instantly made the decision to use them for the repair and they did an outstanding job walking me through the process and doing quality work. I will ABSOLUTELY return to them for auto repairs.

I've been coming here for more than ten years for my Honda Civic Hybrid, Acura ILX and now Tesla. They're good, honest, hard working people. The owner, mechanics, and front desk people are all great. They charge fair prices and won't try to gouge you like other places might. The only downside is their popularity so they're insanely busy sometimes. But if you come first thing in the morning, they'll help you out.

I've been coming here for over 10 years i can't remember. They are very very very good!! They are very transparent about everything. This isn't a shop that wants to scam you and take your money for unnecessary work. They look out for your best interest vehicle and wallet wise. This shop didn't honor their warranty or take responsibility for issues that should've been covered. I tried resolving it, but they weren't helpful at all. I'd recommend moving on and finding a more reliable place instead.

Came here based on the Yelp reviews looking to get my brake pads replaced on my Subaru. The guy (manager or owner I think) inspected it and gave me a good quote of $380 to replace. I was on the fence as I didn't really want to put any more money into a car I was going to be giving away, but my wife convinced me to, so I went back about two weeks later to get them replaced. This is where it went from what seemed like a totally legit place, to a totally dodgy place. A new (different) employee all of a sudden decided that it needed new rotors, etc as well -- even though it had literally NOT been driven AT ALL since they gave me the original quote. Instead, the guy just kept arguing with me as if I was making it up. I told him to look up the quote in the system and he just kept insisting I had to spend more money. So, either the first guy was wrong in his evaluation and quote, OR the second guy was just trying to milk more money because literally NOTHING had changed in the interim as the car had not been driven. Felt like the classic bait and switch that gives a lot of auto-repair shops a bad name. I guess you can add this one to the list of shady businesses that don't care about their reputation as long as they can get over on you. No thanks.

$1350 Repair Failed Immediately - Check Engine & Overheating In May 2025,I paid over $1,350 at DNZ Automotive for a major repair that included a new timing belt, water pump, and thermostat (see invoice). The result was catastrophic. Immediately after driving away, the check engine light came on and the van began overheating again, reaching dangerous levels (see photos of the dashboard gauges). I returned immediately. Their own scanner pulled codes P1130 and P1135 (see photo), which are related to the air-fuel sensor and heater circuit—issues that were not present before their work. Despite this evidence, the service advisor and owner dismissed it as a "coincidence" and asked for more money to fix the problems they created. The disorganization was shocking. An employee actually had to call me and ask me to text them my own invoice because they had no record of what work had just been done on my car. How can you trust a shop to warranty their work if they don't even keep their own records? They refused to honor their own 1-year warranty. I've had to use my own scanner to monitor the car myself (see photo). The attached invoice proves the work they did. The attached photos prove they failed. This shop cost me over $1300 and left my van in a more dangerous state than when I brought it in. Avoid this place at all costs.
