Like a big dummy, I backed my Ford F150 off a 3 foot curb. Her rear end was hanging in the wind. Don’t judge too harsh: The drop was obscured by snow. That’s my excuse, anyway. So, the kind folks at Saia used a forklift to get my truck back on four wheels and we quickly realized the rear drive shaft snapped. Again, the kind folks at Saia stepped in and recommended I take my damaged truck to Don’s, across the street. So I picked up my debris, locked ‘er in 4x and drove across the street to Don’s. At first Don was hesitant to take it on and recommended a shop down the road. I counted and said he came highly recommended. So, to shorten this a bit, he found a used driveline that looked brand new, installed it for 300 less than I was expecting and we all lived happily ever after. Except, Now she has a minor oil leak (I do t believe related to the incident) and I will entrust the repair to Don’s crew. Incidentally, the whole crew was awesome.

I am down in Knoxville to move my daughter into college and ended up with a flat rear tire. Called Don’s tire shop and they were super helpful on the phone….got me right in and fixed it on the spot. Literally the next day went to my car and I had another flat tire this time the front( found a screw in it). They loaned me a portable pump and got me right back into the shop. Roy Raby fixed both tires. Unbelievable how kind and helpful this crew was for an out of towner!

When they couldn’t perform the service, they referred people to a good shop that could. If you’re looking for a good shop, search no more. Do yourself a favor and go visit Don’s Tire.
